The vet here is top notch! Yes, the clinic does not have a state of the art waiting room with exposed stone walls and a huge open front desk, like another clinic I know of. But they do have what the other clinic lacks: a competent, caring vet who knows her way around the animals she treats. I have used this clinic for almost 20 years and Dr. Cox, and Dr. Fenton before her, are just good vets. My cat was acting very listless yesterday and I refused to take him to that other, open-late, nice-looking clinic. I'd rather wait for an expert. The last time I went to that other place, I wound up in Dr. Cox's waiting room the next morning, anyway. P.S. I have been in the treatment rooms and surgery area of this clinic and they are fine. Taken my dog here a couple times, simply because they have inexpensive vaccines (almost as cheap as some mobile vet clinics) but they are very unprofessional. The animal clinic looks extremely shabby and I almost question whether or not the vaccines are genuine. I pay for a 3 year rabies vaccine and I don't even trust them enough to believe it'll protect my pets. So this is my second and last time trying them; I love my pets too much to return. I would STRONGLY suggest not ever going here if your pet had a serious injury or illness. I took my fur babies hear when Dr. Fenton on the place. I'm sorry he sold his place. He was fair and nice to all customers no matter what your race was. I cannot say the same for Dr. Cox. When I brought one of my fur baby in to get looked at about an issue. I waited a while, but I understand I was a walk in and didn't have an appointment, so this white lady came in with some small puppies for an emergency and they took her before me. I was there for an emergency as well and I felt that she didn't care about my baby enough to realize that she was sick too. I feel that this was done because I was black and the other customer was white. Dr. Cox shows favoritism with race definitely. I want take my baby back to her ever. read more

Update: Dr. Fenton has retired, and the clinic is now run by Dr. Angela Cox. I recently took my youngest pup for a rabies vacc and was given the same inviting, wallet-friendly service that I have always received from Dr. Fenton. The office definitely has a bit of a "woman's touch" now. Will continue to use Dr. Cox as my primary vet! read more

Dr. Cox and her staff take great care of our two little dogs. I trust them. Dr. Cox is thorough, kind, and patient, both with our dogs and us (my spouse and me). I tend to be a nervous "dog mom." But, Dr. Cox and her staff put me at ease. read more

Thank you so much to Dr Cox and the staff for helping us save our Lucy! She had bladder stones and was in so much pain. They called us daily to tell us how she was doing during her hospital stay and kept us informed. It was a pricey surgery but they worked with us and took great care of her. She is healing and resting now. I'm so thankful they were there for us to save our sweet girl! They have also taken care of our other dogs in the past as well for basic things such as shots, etc. Always a good experience and reasonably priced. Thank you again!! read more
