Our dog was having an allergic reaction on Monday and Woodland wasn't open until 10am! I called Griffin Animal Care and they said to bring her in right away. They saw us fast and took great care of her, Dr. Webb was great at explaining what they were doing and I am positive Woodland would have charged me at least twice as much. We will definitely be switching to Griffin Animal care for all our vet needs.

The ladies at the front desk were friendly, welcoming, and very kind. Dr. John was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to discuss my senior dog's needs with me. He provided valuable information and made sure all of my questions were answered. His assistant was also incredibly sweet and patient, especially since my little dog was very nervous during the visit. I also visited their boarding facility, and the staff there were just as kind and caring. Everyone I encountered made me feel welcome and treated both me and my dog with compassion. Every visit felt like an…read moreupsell, which became especially troubling when they convinced me to enroll in a monthly care plan for my 12-year-old Bull Mastiff. Given his age, I trusted their guidance and felt pressured into services that were presented as necessary. Sadly, my dog passed away within a month of starting that plan. What made an already heartbreaking situation worse was that I continued to be charged monthly for a year after his death. I called and was told that they were sorry for my loss, but the "insurance" would continue to be charged for the next 11 months. Veterinary care should be compassionate and transparent--especially with senior pets. Instead, I felt like a revenue stream rather than a client with a beloved family member. I would strongly caution other pet owners, particularly those with elderly animals, to ask very direct questions and carefully review any ongoing plans before agreeing to them. Our new fur baby is going to a nice country, non-corporate veterinary hospital that does not try to constantly upsell.

I've bought tons of medication from them and all his normal flea and tick ointments and heartworm medications. So after $5,000 in vet bills we discover that my dog is allergic to beef. So before this was discovered I had paid $125 for chewable heartworm medication that is beef flavored. Bottom line is I went to them and they said they won't allow me to exchange it for something else. I'm livid. It's not like I asked for a refund. I asked for an exchange and they refused. I hope them denying my dog was worth losing my business. I understand everybody has policy's that they must follow but I also was a good customer and I always paid in cash.
