This was my second visit,first visit waiting 20 min,Vet was not really outgoing.Went today,got…read moretheir 10 min early,completed paperwork.One pet went back in room,our appt was 11:00,put in our room 11:00,sat for 30 min,while listening to vet in other room just shooting the breeze.The Tech could have come in and done weight,test for heart worms,nothing.Got up to leave,told receptionist we have been waiting for 30 min,so I said we will leave.Instead of receptionist getting up to ask vet how long it would be,she says you want to reschedule ??That's like asking do I want a root canal.Why schedule another appt,when staff,and Vet have no courtesy of other clients time.And the office was not busy,no other dogs,except the one that seem to being getting a lot of conversation from vet.Sorry but it is apparent this office is not concerned for the time a client and pet has to wait.But I bet if you were late,you would have gotten charge,no show a charge,so what about our time,customer service is low on their priority.

I remember my cat panicking before we went inside for in-clinic euthanasia. This time, my dog was comfortable in her own bed in a peaceful setting that does not exist in a clinic. I have zero regrets doing in home euthanasia. It is the way it should be if you are so lucky to have the circumstances to do it. From the get go, Grace(the owner) was super kind with communication and got my two pups in very last minute for us! Her husband greeted us and helped get them checked in with ease as it was our first time boarding with them. I have a young Great Dane who is full of energy and a bit anxious... that said, he was all kinds of crazy when I dropped him off since it was new territory... however, they allowed me to hang till he was calm and comfortable with a new place. They were so gentle with him and understanding he was a young pup in a new place! Honestly, it didn't take my dog long to warm up because the property itself is truly a dogs dream. There are plenty of pins for them to get outside time to run and play together or individually. I drive over an hour to keep my dogs here and it is very worth it!

Again text back bring them will do them Get there fill out paper take up said you need fill one out for each cat. Ok go back get two more sheets...take back up .owner asks name told her your the one didn't come yesterday . Yes didn't catch but got 3 last night.. went through details pay when pick up blah blah.. I go out to car brought in trap and a cage.. told me to label so went got tape.. another says let me help ya we each did one and owner comes over.. how did you get in both cage . I explained opened door put face face so had two in the cage last one in trap. They need to be in separate cages.. I said I ly had one trap and luckily ended with mom as n two kittens . She said I'm the owner I said I know who you are you drive the bus to Cartersville. So she says how much do they weigh I said have no clue . Then she says I can't put my hand in there get one out without other getting out . I said I get one you boxes I'll do it for you Well she wasn't going to allow her staff get hurt I said my last ones brought to you all feral cats.. what do you want me to do.. she said well they to young and don't weight enough I said can't you weigh them.. She reached down try get attention of kitten to no avail an said been doing this for ... They not big enough I said so are you going to do them or what she said no I picked em up reloaded and headed back home... TNR.. trap neuter release. Site even says if too aggressive they charge 25.00.. She really had it in for me apparently but she did say bring em then wanted all these excuses not to do them.... After the procedure, she stopped eating and drinking, prompting me to seek urgent care. The veterinary clinic's communication was inadequate, and I was told to take her to her regular vet. Nala spent the night at an urgent care facility, where she received treatment for her condition, including IV fluids, antibiotics, steroids, and pain medication. Due to the high cost of care, which was $1,200 per day, and the uncertainty of her recovery, we opted to take her home. It's been nearly a month, and Nala is still recovering. I would advise pet owners to never go here anymore! If you love your pet!

I saw Jerrie's Pet Place advertised in Fort Valley and called to see if she had any Shih Tzu puppies. She didn't but said to me she had a female who couldn't breed and had to be spayed because of an infection. Jerri didn't want to keep her so she said we could come and see her. We spent some time there trying to learn more about the dog. I asked her if she had her registration papers and the information on her surgery, and she assured us she had it all. She didn't give us the paperwork when we left she explained that she had to find it. We asked her name and she replied "Baby". We took her home and began to see what this poor little girl had been through. She was scared and submissive and would cower down when we tried to pick her up. She wouldn't drink water or eat and shook all of the time. We took her to the Vet and had her checked out. They agreed that Baby had been abused. I began to send Jerri emails about the paperwork, and what she drank out of all kinds of questions. One lie was told after another. She said she couldn't find the paperwork and the woman she got the dog from never gave it to her. This went on for about a week. I called the USDA and they explained they had to inspect her place a few times because she had over-the-limit dogs. I was also told that any dog in her possession that is a breeding dog must have paperwork and be registered. She didn't even know how old Baby was. After 3 months we noticed that Baby was having seizures. The vet said she had epilepsy and had to have been having seizures while under Jerrie's care. She was in a cage all of the time and no one noticed. About a year ago I read an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the Human Society and the USDA were informed of the large number of dogs in Puppy Mills being housed and sold in numerous Breeding places. Jerris Pet Place was one of those places. She was running a puppy mill and no one knew it. She wouldn't let anyone see where she kept her puppies and their parents. I hope they continue to check on these places and stop them from selling dogs. Baby has been with us since November 15, 2020. She has a collapsed trachea and CHF and is on many medications but she is finally living the life. She has been all over the state camping with us and traveling and has never been put back into a cage. She is our loving little Shih Tzu and even though she has been through so much she is happy.
