Incompetent practice at best. Deceitful malpractice at worst. My wife had three filings, all of which, months later have chipped, cracked and one now requires a Root Canal. We went to another dentist who was amazed at the poor procedure and didn't even know what material was used. The X-Rays show the cheap amalgam fillings but the look of it shows Resin. It seems they used a cheap filler, drilled too far, then topped it with Resin to cover the fact they used ancient, cheap practices. I'm furious. They deserve to be fined or investigated. I now have almost $3000 in dental costs for 3 teeth due to their malpractice. I wish I had someone to call but upon investigation, I can't find a regulatory committee to report them too. On 14th of April 2022 I had an appointment and went to (BFD) Broadway Family Dentstry for a periodic "Teeth Cleaning". Before I begun to receive my service, while in the waiting room of BFD I called my insurance provider (MERITAIN Aetna) to confirm what service would be covered and told the receptionist what coverage I had and what service should be rendered. Once getting into the "Chair" for dental service, I was told I needed X-Rays and I asked if this would be covered, and I was told, YES. After X-Rays and a short period of the periodontists using a pic to remove some "build-up" on my teeth, I was told the service was done...! I was shocked to say the least not to receive a dental cleaning which was the original purpose for the visit! This was certainly a "Bailt-and-Switch" of services rendered, since I had an appointment for a dental cleaning, which was not rendered, and only given a small time to have someone use a pic on my teeth and X-Rays. To make matter worse, I was given (Billing: 10/25/2011 see attached) a bill that most of it, if not all of the serives/X-Rays were NOT covered by my insurance as was told to me. I was told some months later on the 04th of Novemeber 2022 from my insurance provider, that BFD did not do a pre-determination for this service, which I ask for them to do on 04/14/2022, and they did not do as well that their billing code 0150 not covered! Both the bailt-and-switch and not clearly confirming coverage of service that was going to be rendered is unethical and problematic with a Dentistry that is not working in a profession capacity. Many time I wanted and tried to contact BFD to comlaint by either calling on the telephone or visiting in-person, was not taken seriously and it seemed the entire dentistry practice was not concerned with their responsibility and business practice. New to the area and insured by Delta Dental i didn't get too many choices in and around Bethlehem, PA. So i made an appointment at Bethlehem Family Dental at least 2 months ago. This was my first visit and they didn't do anything to make me want to stay. My greeting was "do you have an appointment?" i responded yes and was handed a clipboard and told to " fill this out" which i did. then i proceeded to wait. My appointment was at 12:45 and i waited until 1:00. No other words were spoken by the receptionist. So i left. After reading the other reviews i am glad i went with my gut.....which upon entering this office i got a bad feeling. Not friendly or professional and I will not return. If you are going to charge someone for a no show at an appointment....you need to get on a schedule and see people at their appointment time OR at least explain why you are not. read more

I know this is long, but read until the end. I figured I'd come on here and accurately review this office. Dr.Milillo has been my dentist for a couple years now. Before I found him, I was terrified of the dentist. He's made it so I don't have anxiety coming in. He's very friendly, talks to you, answers any questions you have, and doesn't belittle you. (Something I've dealt with at all the other dentist offices I've been at) I have never had any trouble with the teeth he has worked on. As for the receptionists, I've never had issues with them, they were always nice to me. Any issues with your appointment time is not their fault. Sometimes a kid needs to be talked to because he's scared. Sometimes a procedure goes longer than expected. They'd rather have you sit in the waiting room with magazines and a tv than the chair in the room - alone. (I've asked) The guy at the desk (Muhammad I believe), has been incredibly helpful and nice to me, whether it's figuring out insurance things or scheduling appointments. He has never been nasty to me and I've never seen or heard him being nasty to anyone else. I ALWAYS recommend people to come here because of my comfort level at this office. If you like being treated badly, I can point you in that direction, I have plenty of places that fit those shoes. read more

The receptionists here are INSANELY rude and offer no solutions what so ever. If you're looking to get your cavities filled please go somewhere else. Absolutely hands down the worst place to go! Sure the girls are all super nice and attentive but the dentist should never have been allowed to practice. I have had to have 3 teeth removed, with another coming out this week, due to her drilling so deeply into the nerve that they abcessed. Today my son is having 6 root canals across his front teeth because she couldn't handle simple decalcification cavities. She went into the nerve with each filling! The dentist doing the root canals today said he has never seen someone cause so much damage. Don't be fooled. Stay away from this place or suffer the consequences! read more

I've found my new dentist! Professional, impeccably clean, and excellent "bedside manner" from all staff. My teeth felt cleaner than any dentist visit in the past. They respected my pocketbook, checking insurance and quoting a price before doing work. They paid more attention to my teeth than I am used to (ex. checking the depth of the roots for bone loss). I did wait a couple extra minutes, but like any good doctor, was rewarded with the personal attention throughout my visit. A perfect neighborhood dentist. read more

I went to the Dentist today for my normal 6 month appointment and I don't know what the hell they did between my last appointment till now but thIs place sucks.. I got there in the chair after my bite wing X ray for over an HOUR!!! for them to tell me I need a deep cleaning which to me sounded suspect me. There's people walking around but don;t seem to be accomplishing anything. They need a Time Management counselor badly. I WON'T BE BACK!!! I going to another Dentist. I don;t this place will be open much longer. They got rid of Saturday hours which I feel that was a big mistake. Good bye Family dental. Run for your life. The front office guy named Muhammad is a rude, nasty, cocky,unprofessional jerk. Why they still have h working there I don't know. My experience there was awful. I should have left at the first sign of trouble. They schedule appointments weeks apart don't care about how you feel or the fact that you have to work. He thinks he is untouchable so he said to me he is the boss well will see about that. There are consequences to every behavior. The office is slow. I waited months for my teeth finally the day comes and they look like horse teeth. I'm so disappointed an disgusted. If you have a bad feeling run the other way. I sure wished I did read more

100% the worst dentist I have ever been to. The first visit I waited over and hour in the waiting room only to find out the receptionist placed my file in the wrong spot which cause the delay in being seen. Second time I waited an hour and a half for the doctor to come in the room, in which she never did. I would hardly even call this place a buisiness. I drove an hour to not even be seen. Took my son there for fillings and she hit the nerves in both teeth. Then yelled at him that if he didn't stop making noise she would not continue with the procedure. (My son is 16 with autism) She was extremely rude to him and made him very uncomfortable. Would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

I have been there for over 7 years I have seen Dentist , managers and employees leave and after my daughter had a medical emergency and they refused to see her right away I was forced to seek another dentist I new things where going down hill when they got a new dentist and the first week of him being there I walked in for my appointment and he was complaining to me about how another patient filled a complaint againt him then my wife went for her appointment and they did a whitening job on her without her saying yes we had insurance but I was forced to pay cash just to avoid an argument because when we questioned why should we pay for something we didn't ask for the girl that did the whitening job came out the office to argue with us so I just payed to avoid problems Mohammed the new manager there trys to talk to you to defuse the situation but to there favor he did tell me they only had 1 dentist and they where booked for the day but I feel when you have a old client with a family of 5 that pays for your salary bye going to his appointments ontime for years I felt the manager could have spoken to the dentist and informed him about my emergency even if it meant leaving the office 1 hour late because that's the most it would have taken but it would have helped an old client with a large family that also attend your business keep them happy and it was there 1st emergency in over 7 years , Now I was forced to go to another location yes it's far from where I live but I'm ok with it this was the straw that broke the camel's back so now they lost 5 more people and if you look at other reviews on other sites Bethlehem family Dental's reputation is slowly going down and I wanna thank them for rejecting me when I really needed them because now I'm happy at a bigger and better place I'll be sitting in the background waiting when the staff gets fired or they close down the business with popcorn in hand ... read more

There should be negative star option. Terrible work, rude behavior. They did a poor job, and had to go several times for the crown prep and crown, hence did not go back. Crown came off and new dentist said it's a problem with the prep. Went back to this place due to no other option, and they want to go through additional procedures and want me pay for the new crown. TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Went here a few times, had a few small cavities to be filled.. fine. Had the work done and was pleased. Well fast forward just 2 months and I ended up getting new dental insurance through my job so I saw a dentist near my place of employment, since I work father away from BFD. X-rays done, the whole nine... EVERY SINGLE CAVITY SHE "FILLED" WAS DONE INCORRECTLY! I have to have it all re-done!!!!!! I thought I'd have a fine checkup and cleaning and was shocked to learn every single spot was incorrectly filled, resulting in more decay than before. The office is very nice, and clean. The staff was professional, and the dentist was excellent. My complaint is that I have been trying to get a tooth extracted since April. The oral surgeon is in every other Thursday..ok.. First in June.the appointment was made for the wrong Thursday, then in July, the surgeon was out sick. Finally I had my appointment in August, and this is when the surgeon tells me I have to have the dentist do some work before the extraction. Meanwhile all this going on and I have pain, and I'm living on Motrin. So apparently the oral surgeon is not experienced with anything more than a simple extraction. I decided not to return, and to find a new dentist. For an emergency, cleaning, or check-up..this place is very good. But for involved dental work find another place. read more

I've been here since 7:45am and these idiots have no sense of time of appointment setting. Four people came in after me and I am still waiting. I will make sure to never come back as this is just terrible and unacceptable and the lady of the front desk has a major attitude problem. I had to wait for her because she was late. I think I should have the attitude. If you hate your job go elsewhere!!! No stars for you guys. You're terrible!!! An hour and still waiting.
