Judith required that we supply her with a computer, with a program, with a workspace. So we jumped through hoops, buying her a computer, buying the program and she was to work at my desk. When I asked if she could use my table or the conference room so that I could get some work done, she informed me that it wasn't comfortable and she needed to sit at my desk, so I was not even able to work in my own office. Well the $1200 quoted turned out to be more like the $300/month the other bookkeeper had quoted us. $3000 later, the end of the year came and went with no books provided. We followed up with her and she told us that she was too busy to finish our books in a timely manner. With no other choice, we hired another bookkeeper after the new year. We turned over the files prepared by Judith, assuming they could just finish the books with the data provided, and were informed that there were so many errors, issues and inaccuracies that they had to start all over again. After we had to pay the other bookkeeper $3000 to redo our books, we approached Judith requesting a refund since we couldn't use anything that she prepared and she refused to even speak with us or try to work it out in any way. Despite her tagline, our peace of mind was clearly not her bottom line, I personally found Judith to be extremely unprofessional, regularly cursing and using vulgarities, very entitled, and without integrity. I was extremely disappointed in how she prepared our books and was shocked at how she handled our complaint. We spent almost 3x the amount she quoted us and had absolutely nothing to show for it, needing to scramble in the 11th hour because she couldn't actually deliver. If you are looking for a good bookkeeper, I suggest that you keep looking. I would give negative stars if that was an option.

She was very precise as well very knowledgeable about tax preparation. I learned things about my tax return that I had never known before. She answered all of my questions as well as going over my finished tax return with much detail. I brought all of the paperwork needed and we went over our tax return, line by line. What was also very impressive, after she entered my information into their tax program, we were able to complete the process right there and was told that our return would be submitted electronically that day. As our yearly tax refund is an important part of our yearly budgeting, to do this process so quickly was very unexpected and helpful.
