He will send you a vague "contract/invoice" with limited language. Before you send it back to him, make sure you add specific language identifying exactly what you want, how you want it and the date you want it completed by. He will also answer all of your calls AT FIRST to build the trust, but once he gets the money or you become a headache to him, he becomes less and less available. Also, make sure you identify exactly what the down-payment is; he will try and collect only a portion of it and then start calling you on repeat the next day (like every 5 minutes) attempting to explain to you only paid a portion of the down-payment. He will then "start" the job OR at least make it seem as if he attempting to start the job, at which point he will give you a call back and say he needs to adjust the total amount of the contract. In fact, he will say in order to finish the job, he needs more money. Save yourself the trouble...
