Two hours before they were scheduled to open, the owner emailed me. We carried on an email conversation where she confirmed that they can recycle for $5, removal of the hard drive by them would be an additional $5, then $3 for destruction of the hard drive. $30 minimum cost. So the grand total for my two would be $26, but they also offered to take my cheap dollar store calculators for recycling since there was a $30 minimum. I came after I got off work. I was greeted at the door, welcomed in and taken care of quickly. I was in and out in five minutes. Amazing customer service. Woman owned and operated. I can not recommend this high enough. I will be back when I have more electronics to dispose of. There is even a certificate they give you as proof they have destroyed the hard drive. As curious as I am of the process of recycling electronics, that is a question for another day. Maybe I should email them and ask.
