We felt we were being approached by a seedy car salesman. We were uncomfortable until that employee moved on. There were lots of dresses and we weren't rushed by our consultant. It was a good experience overall.

This is my second time shopping at Toula's for a Hollywood red-carpet quality prom gown for my daughter. In 2012, we called ahead and asked if they had a specific gown and they had the exact one in the exact color and size. This year again, we drove nearly 5 hours roundtrip from way west of Cleveland just to shop here, because last year's experience was so great: 2013 was no exception. Toula and her staff did NOT disappoint! They are awesome! The selection was plenty and the customer service was excellent, despite it being packed with other moms/daughters hunting and parading through the place in prom gowns on a very busy Saturday. After discovering the perfect gown, we found that it wasn't the perfect fit (much like last year - my daughter's a 2 in the hips, but more like a 0 on top) and it had an unfinished bottom hem on the train for some reason - Toula immediately assessed what needed to be tailored, pinned it up and promised it for the following weekend. NO CHARGE - those alterations were part of the deal: WHERE does THAT ever happen? We made our fairly substantial purchase with an incredible pair of perfectly matching shoes and went on our merry way, happy as clams. The following week I didn't want to spend another 5 hours driving out, so I called them and asked if it was possible to just go ahead and ship it (someone mentioned that when we were there) - and they were so accommodating - they SHIPPED the dress to me! It arrived in perfect order. Here are my ratings: Selection = 10, Customer Service = 10, Prices = 10 We LOVE Toula's!

I had a very good experience at TLC Bridal -- they were really kind, they had quite a few options,…read moreand there wasn't a moment where I felt I wasn't being listened to. Our appointment started at 1pm, and it was for both me and my matron of honor who is also getting married. We immediately started pulling dresses, and were able to put them into our fitting rooms. I started with my favorite dress, and that was a mistake because I didn't want to take it off! The bridal consultants made sure to take things out and bring things in that they thought we would like. And the dresses that the bridal consultants put me in were some of my favorite dresses. The best thing about this place is that she can customize literally any dress and make it perfect. My matron of honor found the dress of her dreams! I did not find the dress, however, that is not the reason I had to take off one star. After looking back, I realized that there were very limited options. They did not have the options I wanted for a traditional dress, and the quality of the dresses were nothing over the top -- similar to a Davids Bridal quality. They had one dress that I loved the entire time. Luckily, she is able to customize the dress, however, it was very difficult for me to visualize what it will look like. Overall, a really good experience if you are looking for a very individualized consultation -- we were the only brides there the entire day! However, you need a very good vision of what you want before going there, and make sure you can visualize it.

My mother and I went into Jacqueline's Bridal to see if there were any dresses she would be…read moreinterested in trying on before booking an appointment. She arrived a few minutes before I did. During the exchange my mother had with Jacqueline, my mother noticed a dress for $1,100. My mother made a comment about not spending that much on a dress. And Jacqueline rudely stated "okay, then what IS your budget". I then arrived and attempted to see if the selection ended where I could see or if the room was longer than that, as we were greeted at the door and blocked from entering further. I walked two steps forward to observe the space and Jacqueline then forcefully grabbed my wrist and moved me from the area as I was attempting to observe their selection. Upon my husband calling, to confirm if the grab was intentional or accidental in the force used, the person who answered the phone, also Jacqueline, was rude, and then proceeded to hang up on my husband and stated they have "no idea what you're (husband) talking about". I heard wonderful things about this place but for them to treat potential customers, let alone anyone for that matter, is disgraceful and unprofessional.

I went into this amazing store for the first time just off off the reviews I read about this place…read more I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and met and amazing person named Ellie I went there looking for an evening gown for a military ball and I walked away with a new friend Ellie and I talked for hours mind you this was our first ever encounter but you could never tell from the conversation we where having in between our conversations I tried on a few dresses but me waiting til the last minute to find a dress my size was almost sold out and although I didn't purchase a dress the fashions and designs where amazing even more motivation for me to lose my baby weight.
