I went to drive thru to pay, and one side was closed, the other side didn't seem to be working. I was confused and a car came up behind me and the lady yelled out her window that it was broken and to just drive thru. I got to the entrance to the wash and she parked off to the side, obviously an employee. A dude in cut off jeans and a ciggarette hanging out his mouth, casually sprayed my car off a bit and sent me thru. HOW did they know what level wash I wanted? I dunno. My car and I were shot thru the wash and dry at record speed. When I got to the vacuums and got out, the entire backside of my car still had soap on it. They had no towels or anything to help with this. I was irritated, then another car pulled up next to me and his had the same thing. He happened to have his own towel, so I guess he is aware. I used the vacuum and actually used it to suck up as much soap and water off my car as I could. Then, drove away. I would have said one star, but since I didn't pay, I threw in an extra star :)

In my opinion, it is poorly managed and poorly maintained…read more Equipment is constantly breaking down, leaving customers without working vacuums or compressed air. My car frequently exits the wash full of soap. They advertise armor all for tires, but what they don't tell you is that it doesn't get sprayed on in the car wash. You need to apply it yourself. I was just there today and at least one of the vacuums has been missing for well over a month and again they have an entire section closed off for no apparent reason. The attendants seem apathetic and disinterested in helping the customers. There is one bright exception, a young fellow with a crew cut who works his tail off. I don't feel that the membership is a good value only because the quality of the car wash is so poor. It's definitely an example of you get what you pay for. It's a shame because when this car wash first opened it was very well managed and very well maintained. We were glad to have it. Seems like over time the Take Five people have abandoned this car wash, which is surprising given the fact that it is situated along a well traveled highway close to several highly coveted resorts in the area.

So sorry that modern cars have cameras and sensors in the bumper! The attendant was working alone at the time, and told me so afterward and said he rushed me through because he was frazzled. Do NOT take your car through Otto's. If it is damaged, they'll give you a hard time, even though we all know they carry business insurance for this very reason. You'll be hearing from my attorney.

These guys took extra good care of me, and now my car looks and feels as nice as it did when I took it off the lot that first time. If you want an above and beyond experience that will exceed your expectations, look no further. I would advise that if you want a full detail package like I did, you should plan on leaving it with them for a few hours if you can. Perfection like this takes time, y'all. Big Five?Googoo car wash knowingly overcharged me $19.00 (rounded up) every month for six months, after they reduced their rates in January 2024. I did not know that the rate was reduced until I spoke with a carwash tech at the carwash six months later in June 2024. At my request the tech showed me the details of my account on the company's computer showing the six month period that I was intentionally overcharged.  I tried several times to resolve the matter with Big Five the owners of Googoo car wash via phone and email. I requested a credit for the previous six months, which I thought was a reasonable request, because I would be refunded due to their error, and I would continue being their customer. Take Five countered my offer saying that" they will given me credit for one month's car wash, and that they have no obligation to refund with they overcharged me. Take Five's perspective was it was my responsibility to change my billing plan. Which is absurd since I did not know there was a price reduction until six months later.  However, I have read other complaints on the BBB review site regarding Big Five from other consumers who experience my same situation and TakeFive issued them a refund after contacting the BBB. Currently Take Five/Googoo Car Wash has a "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. Take Five according the the BBB has had "538 complaints closed in last 3 years 312 complaints closed in last 12 month." I filed a complaint with the State Of Alabama Attorney General's Office who contacted Take Five corporate office. According the the AG's office Take Five stoned walled them for several days initially denying that they had received a request for information from them and then they claimed that the had problems opening up the file that the AG sent them. In the end they said that posted signs at the car wash stating their price change however no such signs exists and I have taken pictures of the car wash to prove it. They actually have no prices pointed on their location the only listing of the prices is locate the touch pad screen when entering the car wash to purchase a single car wash or to purchase an ongoing membership. Please stay away from the unethical fraudulent car wash. To add insult to injury they are still trying to bill me for services after I told them to terminate my account. I use my cash app to pay miscellaneous bills and fund it accordingly.

I paid for a deluxe wash…read more While going thru I noted that the twirling brush that cleans car hood and trunk did not engage or work during wash. SUV hood was left dirty with leaf bits. I pointed this out to staff and requested that I be allowed to go thru wash again, presented my receipt, and did this within 1 day. Staff refused and insisted I pay to go thru again. I paid for a second wash, with same problem. Staff was advised. No refund was offered. No premium service provided. Since equipment to clean hood and trunk are not working, AVOID this business.
