I relayed this information to the service writer. I could tell he really wasn't listening to me which is nothing new when talking to a lot of service writers. Always remember this is how they get paid. So I called in the next day to ask had they found the problem. He was very hostile in giving me his answer. He was telling me I may need breaks and rooters.I told him I just put new breaks and rooters on it. In short he told me that I could come and get my car.I told him not to touch it I will be right there to pick it up. I took my car to Silver Star Mercedes Benz auto repair. I had picked up a huge rock in my wheel. They removed the rock and didn't charge me a dime. I will never take my car to Techway again. Yes they are over charging people or over diagnostics same thing. Either way they are taking your money.

First time here for oil change. Oil changes do not trigger check engine lights. Took them forever to fix the check engine light. Was late picking up someone from work as a result. I Checked under the hood later on and notice 25% of the splash guard engine cover under the vehicle is damaged and missing. We already have some missing plastic clips from the cover, so it sags a little. For some unprofessional odd reason, they decide to cut off the sagging area without notifying me. All it needed was a couple of plastic clips. Also was not told by management of the hidden charge for disposing the oil. It's not the fee or so much the mistake of triggering the check engine light that bothered me. It's the simple fact that nobody told me ahead of time of the hidden charge and the damages to the vehicle bottom engine cover in cutting it off. Now we have to buy a whole bottom engine splash cover.

Excellent service! My wife's Equinox threw a Stabilitrak…read moreservice message, along with the ABS and TC lights. We made an appointment with Midas to have it diagnosed. Before the appointment the message cleared itself and the lights went out, but we took it there anyway to have them look for any history codes that might have caused it. I fully expected to pay a diagnostic fee. They checked it, and found an history error for the ABS pump (likely the case of the Stabilitrak error). But since it wasn't currently throwing an error, they suggested to take a wait-and-see approach. And to top it off, they didn't charge any diagnostic fee. You can bet that if it comes back, I'll be completely comfortable having Midas repair it. Or, if there are any other issues, Midas will be our shop of choice. It's nice having a company that you can trust. Thank you Midas!

I went in for a simple tire rotation. The staff weren't friendly at all or communicative about…read moreservices. I noticed after my tire rotation that my car drifted slightly to the right so I took it back in for them to check it out. Instead of communicating that they felt my car had no issues, they then performed a service on my car without my consent. when I question staff member Corey Blalock as why they put the tires back to how they were pre-service I was given different reasons. First he said it was because my tires were unevenly worn.( I have a 2025 nissan Sentra that had less than 5,000 miles at the time of service.) Then he stated it was because of the uneven roads of Dothan. When I questioned why they would put them back after I paid for the rotation, he stated they "fixed the problem/complaint I had"(leaving me to believe it was done out of spite because of my "complaint".)Then when I further pushed the issue about it, I was met with a condescending-attitude, with him stating that he could've charged me for a service I was unaware of and how they switched them back for "free" as if they were doing me a favor. He was not helpful at all and I could tell he did not care to fix the issue and I left without the issue being resolved.

He had his employee Teasha to take care of my tire situation. Oh my goodness, she was awesome. She found a big screw in it after removing the tire, put a big plug in it and put it back on. She checked all 5 of my other tires to make sure they were all where they needed to be. I don't live in Dothan, Al however if any of you do I suggest you use Jim Whaley Tire service.
