She said she scheduled my next appt for Sunday, Feb 12, 2023 at 10am. I haven't received an appointment reminder and I haven't received an assessment either. I tried calling her today and the number she gave me has a message from Verizon saying this number is no longer in service. I went online to look up the address and I called what is listed as Wellpath and their number says that they are permanently closed. I now feel I have been seriously duped and I'm not sure what to think.

I then asked her to please tell her manager Carissa to find someone else for me, her reply was "I am no longer your therapist I can't assist you with that." Really no clean handoff? Wonderful person. I called the clinic haven't heard since. Also Carissa does communicate private information you tell her to other therapists without your consent. I have personally heard this from life practice therapists during sessions so there is nothing to fabricate here. This is highly frowned upon and considered unethical in the therapy world! My thoughts? Go elsewhere! Life Practice will send you a therapist only till the therapist one day dumps you and tells you they can no longer see you because insurance has changed since they have graduated and become full time marriage and family counselor. The response I got from a therapist who did this was "call the clinic and find someone else." Wow. And he told me personally throughout my time with him that I was his favorite client! Unacceptable! Lastly from the same male therapist he personally told me Im not sure how some people at Life Practice even have a license. That tells you everything you need to know!

I just completed the Partial Hospitalization Program at Fair Oaks Recovery Center, and I am beyond…read moregrateful that I had the opportunity to step away from work and focus on my recovery. I had been trying to get sober since February 2022 through AA alone, but I wasn't successful. I had the willingness, but without treatment, it just wasn't enough. The staff at FORC helped me build a solid foundation for recovery that I had been missing. They provided the education, support, and accountability that I needed to move forward. During treatment, I also struggled with dual-diagnosis disordered eating symptoms that, in the past, had led me back to using. The team at FORC helped me work through those challenges while maintaining my sobriety, and I am incredibly grateful for the care and support they gave me. Leaving the program clean and sober felt like such an accomplishment. One of the best parts of the program was finding my people. After about a year of being stubborn about returning to AA and NA, I found myself back at meetings with my friends from FORC and genuinely enjoying it. Before I knew it, I had a sponsor and was working the steps again. None of that was required, it just seemed to happen through osmosis somehow, which is actually pretty funny. Thank you, FORC, for everything you did for me. I wholeheartedly recommend this program. 10/10.

I had an extremely traumatizing experience at Fair Oaks "Recovery Center". On June 16th at 11:00pm,…read morean employee of Fair Oaks wrongfully discharged me from the facility. I was solely 72 hours sober and just got to the facility a few days prior. I was experiencing severe withdrawals still as expected while still under detox. The scariest part for me was I just had taken 100mg of Trazadone and Hydroxyzine, about ready to go to bed for the night when they told me to leave. The med- technician (not management) discharged me at 11:00pm at night, and put me on the street. I was still detoxing and experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms, and it was unsafe as the facility is not located in the best part of town in Sacramento. I have contacted an attorney regarding this incident and they will be following up with the facility soon regarding what occurred. To make matters worse, when I left and got an Uber to the hospital, I realized the staff forgot to give me my wallet. I couldn't be admitted into the hospital without my ID, so I had to take an Uber all the way back to the facility to retrieve my wallet. Unfortunately, there are still some of key belongings that are still in their possession that they never returned to me. Most of the staff are under 21 years old and have 8 months of sobriety whom are extremely ill-experienced and unprofessional when it comes to any real, genuine care. Please take my horrifying experience in account when looking for a facility to heal from substance abuse! It was scary, and they put me in a very vulnerable position that was unsafe.
