I handed the paper to the front desk, and I explained the exact message from my doctor to at least three nurses. Then I explained it again to a doctor, and after keeping me there for an hour and a half, charging me for a full emergency room visit, they informed me that those tests are not something that they are capable of running at that facility. So they would need to transfer me to a hospital and check me in. Then they discharged me "Against Medical Advice" because I wasn't interested in them transferring me immediately to a hospital to become an inpatient there. They found absolutely nothing on my exam that would warrant transferring me to a hospital immediately. They only had my note from my ophthalmologist saying that he wanted these two tests to be run and that I should go to an ER and request those two tests. Why didn't they tell me that, when I walked in the front door with my Dr note on official letterhead, telling exactly which tests my ophthalmologist wanted them to run? Why did they waste my time and charge me for an emergency room visit when they could have told me immediately, at the front desk, that they cannot do those tests and that I should just go to the regular Dr instead? What a ridiculous way to respond to a request they already knew they were not equipped to fulfill. I walked in unassisted, clearly not in any emergency condition, simply because of the ophthalmologist' poor understanding of what the ER offers.

The sign said 10 minutes for a wait, but we were greeted as soon as we got in and taken back almost immediately. The two nurses immediately got his history and vitals. Dr. Parker was in shortly after and he was great! As he was explaining the diagnostics and what they were for, he made sure to talk directly to my 10 year old and use terms he'd understand. That made my son feel so much more comfortable. We had results shortly after the tests were done. I will definitely be sure to come back here next time we need urgent care. I've always been happy with HCA hospitals but it's so nice to have a satellite location nearby.

On top of it this hospital is beyond unsanitary. There is dried blood on the outside of the biohazard box.

He has no legs and unable to hold himself up which makes it almost impossible getting to a Dr appointment without calling an ambulance.Seems like they pick and choose which patients to see based on which insurance has highest reimbursement!!! DISPATCH HEALTH IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!! Have been unable to book an appointment on two different occasions. The portal states there is availability in my area and to call them. After calling them, I was told there was no availability for the next 48 hours. I call the very next morning as soon as they open and again, no appointments available for the next 48 hours. This company use to be great, now it is a joke!

They have generally good reviews, and I loved the idea of a home visit. They arrived on time the nest day, after setting the time by phone early in the morning. Two very nice, very professional health workers, a nurse and a physicians-assistant, came to my house, did a very thorough exam, asked appropriate questions, and gave me a covid test on my front porch. They also wrote some prescriptions for me to ease the cough and other symptoms. They sent their results to my primary-care doctor, and called later to check on me and give some advice, which impressed me. They were friendly, thoughtful, and professional. And it's way better to be treated at home than to visit a clinic somewhere. Expectations were exceeded by Heather and Stephanie every step of the way. Highly recommended.

For planned visits: 5 stars Emergency room: 2 stars…read more Let's get it out of the way: No one likes being at the hospital. But for planned care appointments, my experiences have been as positive as they could be. I was treated with courtesy, politeness, and respectful care for each visit. Reception staff was efficient and patiently gave instructions and directions for check in. The Lab Corp technicians were incredibly kind and accommodating when I didn't feel well after a blood draw. The doctors and nurses I dealt with for procedures explained each step of the process and made sure I was comfortable. I really appreciate that from medical staff. Unfortunately my ER experience was not as pleasant. I was there on a Sunday night due to possible complications from a procedure earlier that week. Initial triage and placing an IV port was fairly prompt, within 30 minutes, but I then waited more than three hours to be seen. During that time a man suffering a true emergency arrived (screaming in pain and violently vomiting) and the staff took their sweet time to wheel him in and then took far too long again to get him from the waiting room. When I was finally seen a doctor did a very quick confirmation that I didn't need any immediate treatment and told me I could leave. But the staff actually forgot that I was in the room to give me discharge papers and remove my IV! I had to find someone myself. In all I was there for 5 hours and probably 15 minutes of it with medical staff. It also cost me well of $500 out of pocket after insurance.

Here's a red flag: Dr.Alexis Chappell does not see patients in person. I've asked repeatedly for…read morean in person appointment and they keep saying she doesn't see patients in person. I have spent a total of 100 minutes with this practice. A 10 minute intake (scheduled for 40 minutes) that was very short and probably the worst intake interview I've ever had by a medical practice. When that interview had concluded, I actually thought, wow, she has to do a complete review of my life based on a 10 minute intake, some basic paperwork, and a 4 hour test. The next visit was scheduled for 4 hours; it was over in 90 minutes. It's timed by the way. Not like it was going to run for 4 hours. Literally timed but I still prescheduled time away from work for 4 hours. Inconvenient for me to say the least. Had to wait weeks for these appointments. I had a 40 minute video appointment today. Due to technical difficulties the doctor said she would call me back. Never got a call, text, or message in MyChart to figure out where the difficulties were. I called to the main number several times and explained what had happened--the visit was disconnected somehow. I got hung up on twice after explaining what happened. I even wrote the staff a message through MyChart to let them know the issue and lack of response was not acceptable -- I've heard nothing and don't expect to. BTW. The issue with the phones and lack of answering them: I was previously told there were staffing issues (when I tried to get the first appointment--took two days of calling in). When you do get someone on the phone, they act like you are the disruption to their day and act like they are doing you a favor by just answering the phone. And then disconnect the call. Professionalism at its finest. Naturally after my 40 minute appointment was expired and I'm still waiting in the "video lobby" I get someone on the phone that says I'll have to reschedule. I have a follow-up visit scheduled with another provider based on these test results in 4 days. The doctor will not release the medical results to MyChart or to my other provider without a release (still won't release them to me) but I filled out the release that they did manage to finally send through MyChart. No where was there a fax number to send it back to (yes they wanted a fax) so I dropped it by the office. I stayed to make sure it was sent and then was told it will take a week or two to get my results to my other provider. That doesn't help me at all. That tidbit of information should have been relayed to me on the phone since I took the time to drive to the office to hand deliver it to make sure it was promptly addressed. Jokes on me. They do not care. This provider does not treat patients as people; just putting you through the tests and collecting your money. They make no effort to correct or fix the issues. They made no accommodation to try to get me worked in at another time or even apologize for the "problems". Instead, blamed it squarely on me, offered no support, and basically said there was nothing they were going to do or could do. If you want to be treated like a number, this is your place. If you want to feel like a valued human being, I urge you to seek help somewhere else. And I probably had a Karen moment or two today due to frustration but, not unwarranted or disrespectful. Overall, my experience has been less than stellar. Would not recommend.
