i hired this company, to paint three rooms inside my home, and two doors and to replace the weatherstripping on each, and to install a new kitchen sink, and faucet, to install a new storm door, replace the outside siding that had rotted, so it could be painted, original estimate was 2092.00 dollars, half was paid at signing of the contract dated april 26,2021... the day ryan came to see the work to be done, i showed,him the outside of the house, told him i want all the rotten, wood and siding replaced, i pointed out the areas, i showed him the rooms to be painted, kitchen, one wall in the living room, and upstairs bathroom, and two doors, etc,... he put in the sink with the old drain, never asking if i wanted it which of course i would, he said they usually come with the sink, no idea if that is the case, but so he installs it, also cuts the counter without asking and caulked the sink leaving the caulking clearly showing in back, to which i was told , it happens sometimes,??? they hooked up the sprayer, which continues to get caught, said it would work it ways out??,..still not worked out, they refused to paint the kicthen first as i wanted, said doing the bathroom i asked why and i would like th kitchen, done... said that is how they do it!!, i had no input or choice. they painted the one wall in my living room, where the painter got upset, saying no idea why not covering as it ws going over beige and the color ws red, said ryan should know better and only get wall paint, to then later saying it was the paint i bought??? to find out it was due to them not doing what it said on the can to use a gray primer, and aslo sherwin williams said the same thing.. so 4 coats on living room wall, i also had the two door painted another shade of red, to which no primer and can said to use, and five coats on one door and 4 on the other,. the put on the storm door with a wide gap on one side and smaller on the other, to which they found it acceptable which i was not,i asked it to be fixed, to which they said no idea how they could do so, it ws door frame etc, they worked a little bit closed it a bit but still gap for mice etc, so my nephew came to suddenly they figured it out and fixed it??? the day of replacing the wood, ryan says, he does not think he will do it, unless we have a mutual agreement he is paid right after done, before leaves that day?? there was a contract but he seemed to fear there may be a reason to not pay him, i called my nephew who wanted it done and him gone, so he paid him before the work was done, ends up ryan did not plan to replace all the wood, as he said the part not doing was no siding, but was call fersha or a similar word, really, it is not siding it is fursha, it is wood, but i said replace all wood and siding, and somehow ryan chose to scam me on it, and charge more,so yes we paid more , to get it over and done,. in process of replacing wood, in a back window sill, he hammered so hard, that it went thru to the inside ruining the sill inside, and knocked off two candles i have had for years, to which ryan said too bad karen, we all want things but you are not getting it, his excuse is that he asked to come in, but it was to see the window area, nothing about how the intensitiy of the pounding would be to knock things off or down,....so during this my nephew had concern of mirror falling off the wall, to which we had no choice but ryan to come in the house, ( as i had stated he was no longer allowed in my home? and take the mirror down, to which he started taking other things off the wall and off tables and piano, to which i asked him to stop ,i would take care of those,he refused kept on doing it, smugly and arrogantly, and defying me, in my home!!!!. ,he offered to fix the window inside,to which i said no,i prefer to pay someone else, as dealing with him and the last thing i want to extend on, i wanted to be done with him,be fore warned, do not hire this person or his crew, as they will go along with all he says, regardless of what it is.. i could go on, but do not trust the betts brothers, perhaps if only want a tread mill put together, it may work out but why deal with one such as ryan?? read more
