I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Betts. I was initially excited to work with them since a friend of mine had a great experience working with them. I've been "working" with one of their recruiters for a few weeks now and she is the complete opposite of what I was told. She'd only answer a few emails, and then schedule a "Sync Up Call" that would last less than 5 minutes. She said she'd work on making email introductions and set up interviews but I haven't heard from her in a week - I even followed up twice! The job search is already hard enough without counting on someone to help you and then getting let down. So unprofessional! Sounds like she picks favorites and doesn't like to work hard for people. Is it because I'm Asian? I don't know. At least hand me off to someone who would actually respond! read more

Age discrimination plays a huge factor with this company. They drive themselves as being a unique and diverse recruiting company and I realty if you're not in the right age group you are brushed aside. Recruiter I spoke with actually had little experience himself and was working far offsite. I'd say don't waste your time here and look elsewhere. Echoing similar sentiments to others I'm seeing here... A recruiter from Betts named Parisa called/texted me earlier this week to set up a time to talk. I had recently applied to a company who uses them, and my current company was a part of a recruiting event they hosted last month - so I was excited for the reach out by Betts as I'm looking to transition to a new career. We scheduled a call for 3pm the next day, at 3:10pm I still hadn't heard from the recruiter so I sent her a text - she NEVER replied. Days have gone by with complete silence. It is so unprofessional to reach out to a candidate who is excited for a "call back" and then to completely ghost them. I would not recommend using this recruiting agency, what a let down. read more

I was introduced to Betts Recruiting by a friend of mine who worked with Tracy Friel. I contacted Tracy Friel and was able to speak with her over the phone. She was able to introduce me to one company and get me a phone interview with them. Everything was going well up until this point... After my phone interview with that company Tracy Friel started ignoring all my messages to her. She completely disappeared and I still haven't heard back from her. It has been almost a month since my last point of contact with Tracy Friel. The way she handled the situation was extremely unprofessional and rude. It gave me the impression that she only cared about her career and helping candidates who would help her make more money in the long run.
