This review is not about their selection of countertops. Rather a call I received the day after my visit from a man who works for them. I told him the sample I brought home was not cream, but white. I had decided to go with one of their competitors, and as I began to explain why...he was talking over me, not listening to a word I was saying. In a louder voice, I said, "This is one of the problems....Customer Service". Guess what....he hung up on me! I'm a 75-year-old woman, simply updating my kitchen. I chose another company that I feel not only offered a superior product at a lower price. But it was "one stop shopping". Their Customer Service is top-notch. I felt listened to and like they valued me as a customer. Unlike with Tri-State, I wasn't going to have to go shopping and buy my own sink or hire a plumber. If you are doing a new build or you have a contractor who will handle these details for you...Then Tri-state may be the company for you.

But Cindy reached out to me and said she was going to find me another Option that I would love and fit my budget. And she did just that! Cindy was a fantastic sales rep. She kept me very informed about my measurement date and what I needed to do to prepare for that appointment. Then I found out that Cindy had been dismissed from TSCountertops. I was shocked. Cindy is a fantastic asset to TSCountertops. It's rare to find such a driven employee. Regardless, I completed my purchase and my new quartz countertops were installed by two long time installers. They did a fine job with my countertops. The fit was snug and extremely well cut. Overall, I am happy with my countertops. However, if it hadn't been for Cindy I would have bought elsewhere. DO NOT USE UNIQUE GRANITE IN OWENSBORO, KY I purchased…read moregranite countertops through Lowe's in Henderson, KY, who contracts with Unique Granite for the materials and installation. Since installation in April, 2023, 6 months, I've been trying to get Unique Granite to correct the seam where two slabs are joined in my kitchen. The seam is uneven and has a gap that widens toward the front of the countertop. A "Satisfaction Guaranteed" document that states I should contact them if my experience is less than 100%. I took them at their word on this. After attempting to work directly with them for 2 months, I stopped by their office and asked to speak with the owner. A somewhat unfriendly man told me that I couldn't talk directly with Unique and I'd have to go through Lowe's if I wanted to communicate with them. When I asked for his card, he gave me a business card for a company called Always Outdoors Lawn and Power, with someone else's name crossed out and his name, just "Rick," scribbled across it. I've had an ongoing open Work Order with Lowe's since that time. It's critical to note here that when Unique has sent crews to my home, each time they've given me the same assessment. The particular style of stone I chose cannot be smoothed out with a GRINDER because there are metallic flecks in it that will be exposed and will ruin the surface. And, more recently, remarks have been along the order of, "That looks bad. We'll have to talk to the owner and get back to you." Of course they don't. The last person they sent out, 9/21, was their "BEST" man, who can fix anything. (Why now?) Lo and behold, he gets out of the car with a GRINDER. I asked him about the others who told me this granite cannot be ground or it would be ruined. His response was, "it would definitely change the look of it." We agreed that wasn't the best way to resolve the issue. Now, Unique Granite has lied. They've told Lowe's that I refused to let them resolve the problem. I know they can fix it. They just don't want to spend any money to make it right. Shame. Since the initial deposit, I haven't paid another dime to Unique Granite. I've stayed in touch with Lowe's and their Customer Service people. But I'm at the end of my rope.

The task fell to me at the last minute and I called somewhere local to where the tree was to be delivered and installed. Unable to help me, I reached out to Snow's. Amber was incredible. She walked me through the entire princess and she made my last minute need a priority without making me feel small. She exceeded my expectations by emailing me a very professional letter/certificate that I was able to print off and present as my gift. It was so thoughtfully put together with instructions on how to reach Snow's when they were ready for the tree, a genuine message of sympathy, and a picture of the actual tree that is living in the ground at Snow's and waiting to be installed at my aunt and uncle's in memory of my beloved cousin, gone too soon. In the future, I will absolutely look to Snow's for similar, or other landscaping, needs. I cannot recommend them enough!

I want to express my satisfaction with Forston Construction. My experience with this company…read morestarted with one of my neighbors' houses being roofed. My wife and I watched in disbelief at how fast this crew was working and getting the job done. They completely stripped the old roof and installed a new roof in one day and it looked awesome at the end of the day. As they were finishing up, we went over to talk to them and was introduced to the owner of the company, Kelly. Had a very nice conversation about his business and I pointed to my house and asked if he had time to look at it and give us an estimate. I left him my number as we were heading out of town at the moment. A little while later I got a text from him with an estimate. We decided to except the estimate and Kelly had his sales manager Nick connect with us. Nick came over and worked out all the details with us and was very thorough with answering all our questions. We all agreed to proceed and was told that we could expect a crew to show up in two days and if everything went well the entire job could be done in one day. The crew showed up on time and immediately began working tearing off old roof. Truck load of material showed up a soon after and the shingles started being laid. I have never in my life seen a group of young men work like this. They knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it. Yasbin was the crew chief and his crew consisted of Hilcias, Jordan, Gabriel and Bey. These guys never stopped till lunchtime and then started back up and did not stop again till the job was completed and everything was cleaned up. They put in a very long day and did a fantastic job! I really can't imagine how a job like this could've gone any better and with the fantastic end result! Good job Forston Construction from beginning to end! Thank you! -Andy Blackwell
