The vet care is adequate; however, there are a few issues to be aware of. As someone else mentioned, there is no grass for relieving your nervous pet prior to going in or coming out of the building. I've also consistently had problems with accurate documentation of vaccines and mentioned multiple times by email, phone, and in-person that my dog is up-to-date with vaccines and they can stop sending me notices in the mail. I provide proof of this every time, but it still continues. A huge negative is that there was no vet or tech follow-up conveying recent lab test results causing a delay in treatment. I was told results take two weeks, but the date on the paperwork shows they had access to the results a full week ago. Only after I called, was a plan of treatment set in place. I have considered going to a different location for veterinary services due to these issues, but likely the next place would have their own issues. One plus for this office is that they coordinate care with an an outside provider who provides chiropractic care and red-light therapy.

I found Parker's Place Kennels on google but noticed they did not yet have a Yelp page. I had to…read morecreate one because I couldn't NOT recommend this dog boarding facility more. I called very last minute because I needed to be in Danville for work and needed my pup to stay someplace while I took my meeting. I visited their website, printed off their boarding agreement, and got all my dogs vaccinations ready. In the morning I called bright and early and the staff said they'd have to check with the owner since they normally have a wait. I got a prompt call back, was told it was fine to bring my dog and proceeded to send all of Samson's vaccinations to Wendy's email. I had hard copies just in case. The address of the location is a little bit past/forward (depending which way you come) from the actual facility. I recommend driving slow and looking out for the gravel driveway. Once inside I had the pleasure of meeting Wendy, the owner, who was an absolute sweetheart to me and Samson. She accepted my records and told me my card would be charged $14 later (normally a full day of day care cost). She told me that they have plans to expand so they'll be able to accept more dogs soon. Once I picked him up, they had nothing but great things to say about Samson and I was pleased with how tired he was even after two hours. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the area needing dog care. The staff is friendly, the location and amenities are great, very cost effective, and who doesn't love a tired doggo!

He was so dehydrated he drank so much water when he got home he then threw up and was lethargic. We immediately gave him a bath and applied tick and flea medication we rushed out and bought and let him just rest while my son cried thinking his dog was sick or not going to be okay. He was the opposite of his normal self when we picked him up. Mac is a very happy, healthy, loving, and energetic 1 1/2 year old pup who is full of love and life. This was after we had the worst day traveling back from Florida and were told we had until 8:30 pm to grab him when we got back which we have text messages from her employee stating that and when we arrived to get him no one was onsite and the dogs were just howling and crying. It took numerous texts and calls to finally get some girl and her boyfriend to arrive and give us our Mac. I had done a lot of research and had a 40 min call with Christine months before boarding Mac there and we text daily while gone on our trip. She knew this was our and his first time being away from each other and him being boarded and to get my dog back in this condition and he isn't acting like himself at all is just devastating. I would not recommend ever to anyone at all especially for a tiny pup. 0/10.

We have boarded Pokey at Pet Companions Country Inn many times now, for up to a full week at a time, and she has always come home happy, healthy, clean, and well nourished. I can see why she has so many loyal clients, many whom appear to have been bringing their animals to her for well over a decade. Our pup gets many hours of play time each day, as well as her own space and time to rest and retreat to regularly. Christine is such an intuitive person; she appears to own many different types of animals of her own and she can observe and sense which dogs will have good chemistry together in play groups, as well as individual dogs' needs and 'personalities'. The property where the kennel is located is serene and beautiful. I love that it is next to owners' residence, so that somebody is on premises around the clock. The kennels are spacious and safe, with indoor and outdoor runs that Christine and her staff thoughtfully manage. The pickup/dropoff hours are absolutely worth managing your own trip schedules around. Other pet boarding places might have superficial bells and whistles that take resources and focus away from what really matters: a safe second home for your pup. I would not think of boarding my dog anywhere else. Thank you to Christine and your wonderful staff for everything.
