My family member was with State Farm for decades. When they really needed Bev's help, he let them down. After a car accident, there was the choice of being paid to take the car that needed repairs or having the car repaired. I was on the conference call with an agent in Bev's office, the claims department and my family member. We made it clear we wanted the check for the damaged car. A friend was going to fix it for less than the estimate.
We got a call from the garage that the car was repaired. We were shocked since that is not what we wanted. Bev conveniently had no record of that conversation (even though they record all calls).
Bev even admitted to my family member "we screwed up." But he never corrected the huge mistake or made it right.
I would never suggest Bev or any agent in his office. He didn't keep his word. This experience was worse since it happened to family. I am disappointed at the lack of integrity. read more
