The pizza itself was okay. The basil gave it some flavor but it was kind of bland. The server was very nice and attentive to us. He also recommended which beers we should try since we're honestly not big beer drinkers. His selections were on point! We sat outside and although it was a little loud during to construction happening across the street from the restaurant, we didn't mind because the weather was perfect. I would come back here because of the service and the beer. I am open to trying something else on their food menu if I do ever return.

Since it was summer, it was just the two of us and our guide so we felt like VIPs meeting the owner and having the chance to taste a number of the current releases of their wines from the less common Favorita grape and Riesling, to the Dolcetto and Barbera to the interesting Long Now blend with a nod to its charitable foundation. As with most Italian wineries we have visited, you are made to feel very welcome as they work to explain their approach to their craft. In addition to the fine, mid-priced wines, the other reason for a visit is the amazing views. They are perched on top of a hill with breathtaking panoramic views from the tasting room looking all across the area. A delightful spot to spend some time and taste some beautiful wines.
