Just visited the La mesa location and felt welcomed and remember an employee "Kathy" being great help!

It is very easy to order. It comes quickly. And you don't have you have to get out of your pajamas to have it delivered.

Richard was a hoot, amazing service. I'll be returning to buy some more beverages, made my day!!!

Stopped by BevMo on a Saturday night because I was on a mission to find a Long Island Iced Tea from the Chi-Chi's brand. Unfortunately, they didn't carry that particular brand and were completely sold out of the Captain Morgan version. Apparently, everyone has been asking for it lately! Kyle was super kind and helpful and took the time to answer all of our questions. My spouse was also looking for a lighter wine, but because he has a sensitive stomach, we needed something he could tolerate. Kyle showed us a newer drink called MXD long Islands Teas that he said he hadn't really seen purchased yet, so we told him we'd be his guinea pigs and come back to let him know how it was. At 12.5%, I'm thinking we're already off to a pretty good start! We also bought a blackberry wine to try. We haven't opened it yet, but it was a popular wine that was flying off the shelf, so I'm sure it'll be good. It's on the sweeter side, which isn't usually my preference, but we'll see! I really like the open layout of this BevMo and the variety they carry. Whether you're looking for something on the shelves, something chilled, or snacks to go with your drinks, they have a pretty impressive selection. I especially like the little market section because you can grab your snacks and drinks without having to make another stop somewhere else. It's usually not too crowded when I first arrive, but I've noticed that once people see cars in the parking lot, the place can fill up FAST! I've also seen plenty of customers coming in to pick up online orders, which tells me they're definitely keeping busy. Another big plus: they're open until 11 PM! That's later than many liquor stores, and I love having the option to stop in later when I'm looking for something to take home and enjoy while relaxing. Overall, great selection, good customer service, convenient hours, and some pretty good discounts. And a special shout-out to Kyle for being so helpful and making our shopping experience enjoyable. We were having dinner with family and friends when passing BevMo! so we decided to check it out. BevMo! is a nice sized retail store for alcohol! They sell a wide variety of wines, beers, hard liquor, mixers, energy drinks, snacks, and much more!! Like any other retail shop, they have sales and deals! They even have a rewards program for you to sign up for. You can also go to their online website and order for the retail store location of choice for the in store pickup. They also have online shopping and shipping to your destination. Overall, a great selection of alcohol for that one stop shop. We were quickly greeted upon entering the door. The store was well maintained and signs everywhere for guidance. Employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Ample parking. read more

Back in the day was a huge fan of their 5 cent wine deals. I recently learned of their 5 cent deals on liquor? I saw vodka for that deal. Apologies if I'm slow to the game. I do purchase all my NA drinks here. No deals on these. My favorite they have in stock is the Paloma by Recess. 0% ABV @ the time, 14.99 for - case of 4. I like visiting my friends in La Mesa because it gives me an excuse to come to this location which I find way better than the ones in the other parts of town. At This location I'm in and out. It's that organized and labelled great. Ain't a lot of time wasted here. It's big. It's bright. It seemingly has every product known to humankind. That being said... I could also spend a lot more time here if I'm not careful because as I continue to walk and shop my eye catches something new or different. I like trying different brands and this place seems to carry even the most obscure ones. On the opposite end of the liquor section are groceries, gift cards, cards if you're gifting alcohol to someone, ice etc. Not a full supermarket but you'll find snacky foods and ice cream etc that goes well for when you get the munchies / if you need something soak it all up. There are even vegan items here as well. Sign up to the reward program and get the discounts. Every penny counts! Lovely place and nice staff. Parking is ample too which is great! read more

Absolute awful customer service!!! While standing in line behind the lady at the counter checking out, all of the sudden, a very tall, slender man who works there comes out of the blue and tells me I need to wait in the line where the sign is that says line starts here. I can understand that if I was anyone's way, but was definitely not. The cashier told me because it was a fire hazard. OK, fine, I move to where the sign is. Go up to make my purchase and the lady in back did the same thing as me and the cashier says to me "see, that's why we have people waiting over there", as he says NOTHING to her. I asked if he was gonna ask her to move, like they asked me and not a peep. Either enforce the rule or don't, it's was absolutely rude and I'll never do business here again. Also, prices are not any better than anywhere else. P.s. The bathroom is disgusting as well, might want to get someone to clean it once in awhile, possibly the guy who had nothing better to do than to tell me where to wait in line. read more

I went into Bev Mo is La Mesa yesterday afternoon, 05/09, I was looking for Mortadello and.394 beer. I was overwhelmed by their inventory. A very nice employee helped me find what I was looking for. When I checked out, the cashier, Kathy, was more than kind. She helped me sign up for ClubBev so I could save some money. Her attitude in helping me was non-rushed and professional. For the first time at one of the most cre4aztive stores to the many people that have traveled to the many liquors and spirits stores for one place that has the many things that you can get for a party for the adults they do have the best drinks and the spirits included for the store it does have the best view of the valley. What is the word describing a place that has the many alcohols and the many flavor foods that go great with the many cordials and snacks? The many places that are here in San Diego they don't have the many fine spirits with the feel of walking into a regular or that of regular liquor store the crowded areas with the many mirrors that the cashier watches you as you walk around. With the Bev Mo stores you have the wide stores going there on Friday to the Grossmont Center drive location I had come to get some things for cooking and a gathering that I was having at the house. When I had arrived at the store it was one that looked small from the outside with carts that were outside at the front door grabbed a cart at the front walking inside surprised at the store inside. The great customer welcome was one that took a few minutes with the many people they had working is to get the attention and to ask where certain cordial, was kept asking of the stocker on the floor that was pricing products. I was looking for Baileys Irish Creme it was for a desert that I was making cheesecake he directed me to where the bottles were stocked at. The many bottles of the products they had stocked there and the prices that I had checked online if you order online, you get the online price. The many Isles they had with the many products that were well stocked with the prices that were in view of all time. Bev Mo is one store that has everything that you can get for parties with the outdoor events for the purchase of kegs for the larger events. Bev Mo has more of the dinner party style with a fine selection of wines and the cordials that you need with the many dinner foods that you may need for appetizers. For the many retails and groceries stores the time I spent at Bev Mo the store is set up as a one stop shop for if you need the extra supplies and the different sprits for the big games, I saw many on Friday that were shopping for the Superbowl. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer, the day I had on Friday shopping at Bev Mo to see such a great store with the many great products you can sign up online for the discount program that when you come to the store you can give them your phone number and get the discount. I have been to the many stores and the grocery outlets that have such higher prices, yet Bev Mo has the great greater selection in supplies and the many fine wines and the drinks that can make your parties or dinners a great hit. With the great customer service and the help, they gave me getting things set up is one of the best stores in Lamesa California. read more

Customer service was horrible! No one could assist us with wine selection....we asked each of the three employees we encountered and were told the "wine experts " had gone home. The store is open until 11:00 pm and we entered the store at 9:20, the way we were treated and the way they were all running around you'd think they were about to lock up! If you can't find it here, you'll have to order it or get out of town! Many, many choices here, but it can get somewhat pricey if you don't shop the deals. The 5¢ wine sale is always good with the buy one get one for 5¢. I like the Unruly Red myself. If you like a bold, red blend that'll match with many rich red meat type dishes. But I really know very little about wines overall other than most of the styles and regions they are from. As for the beer they have a vast selection of craft, Belgian, German and other imports. Whiskeys, Scotches, Tequilas, Cognacs are probably one of the best selections in town. We don't have a Total Wine in SD so, I think you need to drive to Temecula to the closest one. I've bought mini kegs from them for several years and they've been at good prices too. One of the best values I've found here was New English Zumbar Stout in the $10 range for a six pack. Another great, not easy to find blended scotch they have is the Cutty Sark Prohibition 100 proof. Under $30. So the values are here, just search for them! read more

Took 35 minutes to get a table of 5. Terrible service at the check in table and no warning about time to wait. Food is below average took 10 minutes to clean a table. Not enough seats for more than 6 people which resulted in a 15 people standing for more than 35 minutes .All tables are very unkept for 15 minutes at a time. But are waiter was amazing. read more

One stop shop. It's like a mini Walmart. Their selections are outstanding. The customer service is awesome. Super clean store. They have every food and beverage you can think of. I am from the East coast and have never been to one of these locations and I wanted to find some non alcoholic beverages others than the typical ones they have at the gas stations and the selections they had were awesome! I then adventured over to the snacks aisle and was blow away with how many items they sell. They even sell cards !
