They almost always have what I've come in for with prices that seem competitive. The place is clean, although the lighting is somewhat dim (at least for my old eyes). The staff are generally friendly. I don't shop here regularly (I have my favorite other places), but I'm curious why when they ask if I'm a member of their rewards program and I say 'no' NO ONE EVER over the 3-4 years I've come in here has ever asked if I wanted to join?? Been coming here for years. NOT ANYMORE! I tried to get a bottle of Tequila and they put the whole row in the wrong area under a price of 39.99. Well it came up to 54.99. That's not my problem if its advertised as 39.99 thats on the company. They said to pay it or not. Well I didn't buy anything and walked out. I called back to talk to a manager and ended up closing our account as well cause he didnt care at all. Walked in at 9:55 tonight (Friday) and was greeted by two scowls and an old grump who told me I have 5 minutes. I knew exactly what I wanted and was at the checkout stand within 60 seconds tops. You guys don't have a kitchen to clean, calm down. I know you can count a register beforehand, and it's unlikely to see cash anyway. 10 is an early closing time for a Friday. Customer service is a lost art. I wouldn't have written this review if I wasn't so put off by the crappy attitudes. I come here fairly frequently, but all it takes is a bad apple to make me go back to buying beer at the grocery store (open til 11!). VERY RUDE CHECKOUT CLERK -- My first visit to Bevy's looking for my favorite Polish beer after seeing Bevy's TV advertising during the Nuggets game and learning they have "3,000 Beers". No luck finding my beer, but with a very helpful hand from the beer guys that work there and there recommendations, I picked out several other beers and ended up buying 6 - six packs and 7 individual bottles and cans of beer that totaled $112. The check out clerk scanned the items and then tried to put all the items in one box that was totally overloaded and too heavy to lift back into the cart. I asked if he could give me a second box and he responded: " THESE BOXES ARE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS" !! I told him "I am a customer" he ignored me and gave me my receipt and asked the next customer to step up. This was my last visit to Bevy's. Nice job ??!! read more

This place is your quintessential Adult Playground of any beverage you may need to quench your thirst. They have a wall of craft beers. 1 whole section dedicated to Colorado Craft. The craft beers from other states for variety & its not small. Then they have liquors from all over the world. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had the Brasilian cachaça I get in Brasil like Ypicoa. Great assortment of quality Mezcals also. They have wines from different regions. I saw this business show up on my thread in Yelp so thought I would check them out on the way back home. They offer a wide variety of wine, beer and liquor here. However, Total Wine is still my favorite in Centennial. I was impressed with their imported beers. I tend to lean towards imports. They have a good selection of European and Asian beers. Asahi is a favorite of mine which they have in stock. There have been liquor stores I've visited that don't have this beer in stock. They also Croatian Plum Brandy (slivovica), the Makarska brand. I like the Badel (made in Zagreb) better, however, very nice to see them carry a Croatian spirit. I checked out their bourbon section as well and liked what I saw. They have a wide selection of Bourbons. However, Total Wine still takes the cake here. I didn't get much opportunity to browse their wines. They seem to have a nice selection of global wines. From a price standpoint, I feel that they have reasonable prices here. I would return here. Probably not too soon though. If you live in Parker or passing through on the way home, I recommend checking them out. read more

The last three times I have been in I have seen the staff not following Covid mask orders. Yesterday during my visit a staff member in the middle of the store was unmasked. I mention it to the front desk each time as I leave. I don't understand why they are not doing their best to protect other small businesses like themselves from the spread of C19. My 1 goal is shopping for very good Bourbon that is reasonable, $40-100 range. Dom has provided recommendations adapted to what I said I like and some he thought I should try. If this is your goal too, this is the best store I've found in the South Denver area. This is now my go-to store. When the magic King Soopers (Parker & Cottonwood) has something on sale, it will cost less there than Bevy's. If you are looking for good to fantastic, I recommend Bevy's. I was very impressed when I walked in. The place was spacious and they had a ton of selection. It was clean and they had several people walking around asking if anyone needed help. I wanted to get a selection of whiskeys for my sons 21st birthday. They had several aisles of Irish whiskeys, scotches, bourbons and even got a Japanese whiskey. To top it off, they had a cigar shop. NOTE: Parker Payless is now called Bevy's. Polite and attentive staff. Prices are usually reasonable and the selection is fantastic. They even conveniently keep fresh limes and lemons at the registers for mixed drinks. They even have all of my favorite porters! I'll keep coming back. read more

The store manager "Dom" not "Don" is a dick. He is rude and has a million rules about selling certain types of alcohol, and who (from the store) is allowed to sell it. However, everyone else we met who works there is nice. And they do have a great selection. read more

This is THE place to buy spirits, wine, and beer in Parker. It is huge. Located right next to Sprouts, it is has plenty of parking. Along with everyday low pricing and coupons, they have a rewards program. You don't have to carry around a card (they look it up for you). The purchase points you accumulate do not expire. On my most recent visit, I had a $5 credit on my account. This discount was on top of the 20% off I had with a coupon for the purchase of $40 or more. The selection here is excellent. It is very easy to find yourself buying extra bottles of wine of 6-packs of beer, when all you did was drop in to purchase one item. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. read more

When I first moved to Colorado over two years ago, I feel in love with this place. Thought it was the bees knees. Then I discovered better beer stores around town. I dont mind driving across town for getting beer I like. PROs: it's convenient. The bomber room is pretty nice. They have a nice selection of CO beers always on hand. They do a select a 6 pack. They always have tons of other booze to choose from. Nice selection of Belgian beers too. CONs: Their cashiers are not very knowledgeable when it comes to their products. Their FB game is pretty weak - I'll have to stop in see if they have any new beer releases. A lot of the beer you're looking for wont be on shelves, they keep it the back coolers. It's always a struggle to hunt someone down who works in the beer department to ask for the new stuff. They dont separate their $18 4 packs. I don't need 4 of them, one works for me. In fact, I don't mind paying more for a single can. I usually stop in once a week to see if they have new stuff, I usually see the same stuff week to week. Their rewards program also sucks for beer. Most beer stores will give you 10% at least once a month. So here's the rub: it is an OKAY beer store but there are way better ones out there. read more

This place has decent prices and a GREAT selection of products. The selection of product really sets these guys apart for Parker booze. I love the bomber room. I frequently browse the bombers but they always seem to be a little too rich for my blood... I purchase mainly beer and occasionally wine and/or liquor. The prices at PPL seem to be the same as other liquor stores in town. However, they send coupons in the mail and have coupons online that when used judiciously make their pricing better. Folks on the floor (when you see them) tend to be friendly and helpful.Cashiers at the registers generally seem to be agitated that you are there. I was behind a guy in line using a coupon. When I approached the counter, the clerk complained about how much he hates people that use coupons. Luckily, I was coupon-less on this visit. read more

My wife and I moved back to the Denver area from SoCal last year. We REALLY miss being able to by wine, beer and liquor at the grocery store. We've learned to try the different liquor stores in the area prices are definitely more expensive here, probably because of the liquor store monopoly, and Parker Payless Liquors is one of the best liquor stores in the area. We have tried a dozen others, including Cornerstar (which has been seriously lacking every visit), and prefer Parker Payless Liquors as our go to spot for now. The organization of the store is really good. If you need a specific liquor or wine, they are easy to find. A feature of the wine shelves is they ratings are well marked so you can make a decision to stick with that $50+ bottle of wine you like or try a 93 point wine that is under $10 - as an example. They carry a very wide selection, are rarely out of what I've been looking for and have been very customer friendly in helping me find some of those rarer items. They have a customer loyalty program that helps reduce the costs further. I've also seen them have a trivia question of the day that could give you a chance for another discount coupon. Good place to get all your alcohol supplies. read more
