I have work with Etan Rosen at Beyer, Pongrats And Rosen law firm for over 26 years. And I've had a pretty good relationship with him and the staff from all the cases they have done for me. But recently they have stopped doing litigation and told me I would have to find another law firm. I was a little disappointed and told them no one else knows the case as well as he does since it's been going on since 2018. This new case extended into our current year 2025 and lastly, the last few months I have been Bar with you need to pay me you need to pay me X amount of dollars. When I was very clear that I am completely broke from the events that have happened in my life this past year due to Covid. But I have always paid them in the past 26 years and we've always arranged to work things out. Recently, I have been treated the worst I ever have and don't know where all that animosity came from? Not only from him, but now from his staff. How was completely firm and honest upfront at what I was able to do and willing to do. I did not lie and say I could pay you extra amount of dollars now and the other amount in two weeks. Never said that once in the 26 years we've been together I am just astounded at the Treatment I have received. And I truly understand business is business. No question about that but the disrespect was not needed and not found it. I have other LEGAL dealings with this law firm. Including trust and will. I have other family members that do legal work with this law firm and unfortunately, we all will be taking our business elsewhere for the treatment I have received and they also have received horrible treatment as well? I recommend if you need legal representation to look elsewhere I do not recommend no one who is loyal to their clients and no one who will turn their back on you in the middle of their representation of you!!! Don't waste your time with this office. Look for an office that will actually do work to support your case. I was told my case would be accepted, everything was in the works. Did not hear from the office or any updates as I was told I would get. 2 months later the lawyer decided to just drop the case. When I asked why, I did not get a valid reason; so all I just ended up losing 2 months in the process. I requested all paperwork be forwarded to me, and, of course, billed for it. read more

I am not sure about the other reviews, they sound like they didn't have cases in the first place. I know from my past experiences and many others that I know personally who have had great dealings with BPR law have been amazing. They have handled my grandmother's trust along with personal and business stuff for me. They are one of the most honest and down to earth law groups around. One thing they do that other law corps or groups don't is to set you up with a trust that has the power to last for years and makes any dealing with the trust seem less. Greg Beyer at Beyer, Pongratz and Rosen is the best estate planning lawyer I've ever worked with. He is both highly ethical and creative in his approaches to guarding financial assets. He is well versed in the traditional approaches to estate planning like wills and trusts, but helped us to understand the shortcomings these documents have, and the importance of additional legal protection like family limited partnerships, which protect assets from liability and taxes. He has many resources and strategies for protecting assets, including elder law and protecting assets from Medi-Cal spend down. While no attorney is cheap, Greg and his partners work from a modest office with low overhead, keeping their rates most affordable. Greg also works with business structuring, and helped us avoid several pitfalls established in our corporation by our original lawyer, and has advised us on legal and prudent protections for our corporation. Mr. Rosen listened carefully to my situation, and asked relevant questions I hadn't thought about. I have used this law firm for many years (about 17). They have good bench strength and work well together as a group. They are good, honest, respectful people which is very rare in the practice of law. I have also worked with them as a pro per when they represented my wife and I was co-counsel - something many law firms do not do well if at all. Etan is the kind of a guy you would love to have as a friend, and that's how he treats people. They have done adoptions, civil litigation, trust litigation and other things for us. No law firm is perfect, and neither are the courts, but the people at BPR make the process tolerable, sometimes funny, and they know their stuff. Most lawyers don't know how to run a business, especially in a service industry. They take too many cases and charge by the millisecond. Some are incompetent and lie for their clients or their own business interests. Those are the ones that give professional law practice a bad name. No so at BPR. When they say "Professional Law Corporation" they actually mean it, and you will know it. Worst law office ever!!! Dave brown is a snake! He never returns calls. Lies...tells me not to show up to court then states he told me I had to. He's gone through 3 assistants in a year and nothing has been done in my case. In April he confirmed I was divorced now they state its not done yet. They are exactly what depicts bad lawyers. They lie cheat and steal...I've paid thousands and they are billing me thousands for not having done anything but lie to me. Reporting him to the bar!
