We decided to stop in, and were pleasantly surprised at how friendly everyone is, and the variety of items they have in stock. The one thing we were looking for was sold out, but made up in other things we ended up purchasing. They have a very nice selection of halal items in their frozen section, and we noticed that they also had a set up in their frozen section back for halal meats. They have a lot of things I need in my baking, and this place will definitely be my go-to for ingredients! We will be back for sure!

The kitchen they had previously was some warming trays kept off to the side. Good food but very much a quick bite place. They just expanded their food options though, so decided to give them a proper review. The display and kitchen are pretty nice looking. Their selection is limited but they have all the staples. I get their korma platter, two katis, a couple samosas and a samosa chaat. It took them a little while to assemble everything. They are new and haven't figured out how to handle rushes yet. I bought my food, took it home for pics, then dug in. Flavor-wise, it was okay. The fish Kati was good. Lots of fresh veggies and the fish was properly cooked. Good amount of sauce and a grilled pita. The chicken in the Kati and the korma were a little dry, but seasoned well. The rice was lightly seasoned and the salad was fresh. Not bad as a bite, but lacking punch. The samosa chaat was missing spice. Too heavy on the tomato sauce, needed more spice. The veggie samosas were really good though. When ringing me up, they messed up on the register and overcharged me a dollar. Even with that mess up, it still was relatively cheap. For everything, was about 30 bucks for everything. They also forgot to pack sauces that I asked for, but once again they are new. As a grocery store, it's good prices and fresh products. As a street food locale, it's good for quick bites but there are growing pains. Go in with an open mind and patience, and you'll get some good cheap eats.

They are expanding into the connecting space for an indoor dining area. The people, the aroma and the flavor are the positives. The bad news is the both the chicken and beef were so over cooked as to be dried out and nearly inedible. I have hope for this place and wish them the best. We'll try them again in the future. Welcome to the great stuffed shrimp taste-off of 2021!!…read more In search of the best stuffed shrimp in the area to serve on Christmas Eve, I posted on various Facebook pages to solicit recommendations. Of course, I can't just trust strangers on Facebook, so we did what any self respecting Yelpers would do...we did a trial run of five spots over a two day period, ordering 4 stuffed shrimp from each. We sampled them plain, with lemon, butter, and cocktail sauce, critiquing the size, quality of the shrimp, taste and quality of the stuffing, and overall value for the price. With, of course, photos of both the raw starting point and the cooked final product. As Public Market received the most accolades in my surveys, it was our first stop. I had not been there before, it's a cute Italian market with a good selection of stuff. There is no signage for the stuffed shrimp, and they aren't in the case. So I guess it's one of those...if you know, you know. Otherwise, no shrimp for you! I audibly gasped when the woman handed me a plastic container with 4 shrimp and $32 and change noted on top. Was it upside down? Were my glasses dirty? No...at $26.99/lb, these bad boys rang in at $8+ each, the most expensive by far in the taste-off. They also topped the charts in cooking time, needing nearly 40 minutes to cook at 375. Most others were in the 25 minute range at 350. But just look at them - they're beautiful. I so wanted to love them! Unfortunately, the stuffing wasn't appetizing to me. It had chunks of what I think were fresh celery and onion, that remained crunchy even after baking for 40 minutes. It wasn't a texture I appreciated, and the stuffing was otherwise pretty bland. Better with lemon, even better dipped in butter, but for the price, they should shine alone. Hubby was hoping for something more like the ritz cracker type of stuffing, so he was also disappointed. Public Market came in at #2 out of 5 in the great shrimp taste-off of 2021. While I wasn't thrilled about the price or the taste of the stuffing, there's no arguing that the shrimp had a commanding presence, were fresh, perfectly cleaned, and tasty. I knew if we ordered these I'd be broke and figuring out how to amp up the seasoning at home, but my guests would have been visually impressed. And it seems like so many others love these shrimp, so maybe it's just an us problem. I will go back to Public Market to try other things, as the service was friendly and the quality of their ingredients to be top notch.

Just be prepared you might end up getting more stuff than what you initially came in for as they m have some really cool stuff!

They have fresh halal cut chicken and meats. This store also has pickles and ready snack items which are pretty good for the price. They Carry reputed brands from India. A few cosmetic ranges are available too. Few herbal products are available too. Not to forget this store has amazing staff on board, they are helpful to find products which you cannot spot or difficult to find.
