The aquarium makes for a great adventure any time, any season, but it is especially great for days that are hot or cold, and if it's rainy or snowing. You can explore the aquarium as a safe, fun outing when you want to get out of the house and the weather isn't cooperating. My husband and I enjoyed visiting over the years, and when we had our baby last year, we knew it would be a great place for her to visit as well! She's now a year old and she gets excited when we take her out of the car and she realizes where she is. While this is not a massive aquarium, it's truly lovely. I grew up in the northeast and went to the Boston Aquarium countless times, I've been to the Mystic Aquarium, and the Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto as well. Is this one comparable at all in scale and size? No. But it isn't trying to be, either. They talk about sustainability, and what they've done with what is available to them in rehabbing the old industrial building is honestly incredible. Can you zoom through the aquarium in 30 minutes? Probably. But why? Take your time and really appreciate being up close and personal with so many different fish species-we especially enjoy the lion fish and snowflake eel tubes (especially trying to find where the eels are poking and peeking out of, my baby always giggles when she sees them at eye level). While there are some smaller exhibits, check them out and really take in what you're seeing. Watch how the animals interact, look at how their scales change in varying light, check out how they interact with YOU as well. You might just be surprised! Also, while there is quite a bit of reading material spread throughout, it's in easy to read and comprehend blocks. We really enjoy the different zones of the aquarium, and one of our family favorites is the entire shark zone area. Sitting in one of the chairs by the tank and just watching the sharks go by or some of the tropical fish or stingrays zoom by is so relaxing! My baby always relaxes and is so soothed in this area. The aquarium hosts different events throughout the year, and we've enjoyed visiting during the Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day events. I like how they'll have fun trivia and decorate to suit the event. My baby enjoyed the divers during Christmas and how they waved and blew bubbles towards her! They also have activity sheets in both English and Spanish, which is great for bilingual families, and for those that may be encouraging and/or teaching either language to their little ones (when my baby is old enough, I'll be using the Spanish one to help her learn new vocab!) The entire aquarium is very clean (including the bathrooms), there is a changing table in the women's room, and the staff is very pleasant and kind to interact with. I also want to point out that while we often come here as a family, I also bring my baby on my own and have always felt very safe being there with just the two of us.

The whimsical blend of Dr. Seuss and Willy Wonka made the whole experience feel magical. The children were fully engaged, and the interactive learning elements were impressive. The cast members were well developed and genuinely talented, and the staff was welcoming and enthusiastic from the moment we walked in. I can easily see Mr. Kringle's Inventionasium becoming one of Cleveland's cherished holiday traditions, much like Mr. Jingeling. I left grinning from ear to ear.

Everything is padded and the setup looks really safe so I felt comfortable letting my three year old go in the play gyms by himself while I watched from my seat. My son is infamous for getting stuck or needing help but he was able to navigate the entire place without calling out for help once. Meanwhile my baby had a blast in the toddler area. The setup is really well thought out. I could sit in the middle and see my 3 year old in the gym and my daughter in the toddler area at the same time. I love how they designated an area for toddlers because it helps ensure the babies don't get run over by the bigger kids on a busy day. The toddler area is off to the side so it's unlikely bigger kids will run through there while playing. The man working the desk was extremely nice and attentive. Snacks and drinks are fairly priced. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. We'll definitely be back. I can't think of even one negative thing to say.

He always has so much energy so I needed to find a place that would keep him busy indoors, especially during our winter months. The bubble room is definitely our favorite room because we get to play with bubbles together. There are areas for water play as well. This truly engages their creativity so they would need to build things within the water to have it travel farther along with balls being shot up in the air. There is an area for those kids who just want to enjoy books in a little cubby and those who want to play pretend theater. Kudos first to the Science Center staff, from Xander at the ticket desk to the folks working exhibits, the security guards, and finally the corporate staffer who opened the door after hours to help me find an object I'd forgotten, this is a group of friendly, competent, kind people who embody customer service. What a treat! The movie itself was enlightening and entertaining and the interactive exhibit further enhanced the experience. Returning to the Science Center will be a pleasure, made even more affordable thanks to the annual membership I decided to purchase. I look forward to going with friends and will encourage them to bring students, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren for a fun (truly fun) time.

A Cleveland institution? When I first heard those words about Memphis I cringed. How could this be…read morean institution when I'd spent decades in Cleveland and never heard of it. Well, I clearly had my head in the sand. This place is the oldest continuously run Kidde Park in America and has the oldest steel roller coaster in North America. The facility clearly shows a bit of its age but is extremely clean. Further, the ride operators are very friendly and in tune with their small guests. I witnessed several random acts of kindness during my visit. Oh and did I mention that the food is good and the facilities clean. For those with children and grandchildren, it's a reasonably priced venue that is sure to please everyone. Ciao!
