Lake Effect Studios went above and beyond our hope for a wedding venue. The owners made everything easy and accommodating. From having our ceremony and reception, this venue made it all stress-free. This place is gorgeous! Walking into the courtyard before you get into the building, you can feel magic. So many details and touches that make Lake Affect one of a kind throughout. The spaces available to rent for events are spacious with a full bar and large bathrooms. I have been to a wedding, comedy show, concert and the Cleveland Bazaar in this venue. They do it all!!! We held our coed baby shower here and this event space is absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect from the consultation up to the clean up at the end of our party. We had amazing service at the bar and all for a very affordable price. Amanda and Dan are so great to work with. They go above and beyond to accommodate and make sure everything runs smoothly. My wife and I held our wedding reception here in the fall and had a very positive experience with Amanda and Stefanie. (Note: we didn't use the auxiliary space, only the main space). LAS is a former industrial warehouse so you have the exposed metal beams, hardwood floors, a bartop topped with bowling alley lanes, in a brick building in downtown Cleveland that's not a typical event space and is exactly what we sought. Stefanie and Amanda were very responsive to emails and phone calls; had a very clear contract; and was fairly priced. We were able to access the venue the entire day before our event for set-up, (double check yours, see the contract) (Hint: if you are hanging items (lights, etc) up; use clear fishing line and 3M hooks!). We were also able to bring in our own caterer (you cannot bring in your own alcohol but we were happy with their selection and prices). That said, my only real constructive criticisms is the signage for parking isn't great so cautious family members may be unsure of where to park (there is dedicated parking, but hey you probably shouldn't drink and drive, anyways...and the entrance for handicapped individuals isn't very clearly marked (although the handicapped accessible ramp is greatly appreciated!). Note the event space is on the second floor and there are many stairs but that's expected for the space. I'd definitely have an event here again and had absolutely no regrets working with Lake Affect Studios. read more

I threw my friend bridal shower here. It is such a beautiful place and the staff was amazing. We did the mamosa bar they were so yummy. They have likes that can change colors in the boxes on the wall. There is a stage and a huge area to have all the chairs and tables. This is truly a diamond in the rough. Will definitely use this place again for events. read more

If you are imagining a relaxed, rustic-industrial style for your wedding, Lake Affect Studios is the place for you! This venue is the most beautiful blank canvas that you could imagine. Our goal was to have both the ceremony and reception at the same venue and Lake Affect Studios had exactly that. The industrial warehouse space had more than enough room to support our ceremony including a large bridal party and 150 guests. We utilized their main space for our reception, that included a built-in bar, mood lighting, and a stage which helped to create the romantic and chill atmosphere that we were going for. The space had the ability to feel intimate without being claustrophobic. Our guests had ample room to move about, either hanging at the bar, dancing on the dance floor, or hanging in the back playing games. The private bridal suite made it easy to take a step away or have a celebratory moment with our bridal party. The venue staff did not go unnoticed and went above and beyond to help make our wedding day a success. Finally, a big shout out to Stephanie who worked with us to make sure we had a layout that would work for their venue and a timeframe that fit the night. She supported us in our bar decisions and even allowed us to take pictures on the roof. She was an excellent resource and supporter for our non-traditional wedding. read more

My sister hired them to her wedding. The owners started yelling at the guests for staying five minutes after venu hours which almost escalated into a fight if I didn't intervene. The owners were being very ridiculous. They stole a bunch of our food. We had the wedding catered and we caught the owners stealing trays of food from the coolers. Stay away!!! Location: 1615 East 25th St, Cleveland, OH 44114 Yes, we did have a security officer on the site, we never had issues with the security guard. We hired a catering service who handled all the food. Unfortunately, this didn't prevent the actions above from occurring. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of Lake Affect Studios. We decided to hold our wedding ceremony and reception here and we are so glad we did. The space had everything we were looking for in terms of location and atmosphere, and the service was unrivaled. Our wedding coordinators (Stefanie and Amanda) were amazing and went above and beyond for my husband and I. They anticipated our needs and made us feel like we were always a priority. Looking forward to summer even more with Lake Affect Studios! The next half year, this venue will be hosting monthly concert series, food, and dranks! Going to the first one, there wasn't as many people which is expected with it still up and coming. Once this event gets out there, it will be a hit! The venue is located on the East side of Cleveland (make sure you don't mistaken E25th with W25th like I did -__-). Very rustic and industrial looking inside with paintings on one side of the wall- obvi, it wouldn't be a Cleveland event without some awesome paintings. It's super roomy, bar is spacious, and a few couches to get comfy. Stay tuned for the next month event, will keep you updated. read more

Lake Effect Studios is a beautiful venue. We had our reception there only, but they have a separate room where the ceremony can be held. They have LED lights that can turn many different colors to match your theme. The event coordinator, Stefanie, is a great communicator who is knowledgable and experienced and really helps ease the stress of preparing for a wedding. They have a nice outdoor patio which is available if the weather is nice. Fortunately we had great weather for our wedding. read more

We held our wedding reception at Lake Affect in June 2019 and absolutely loved it! We worked with Stephanie throughout planning and she was really great. She returned our emails and phone calls quickly and always answered our questions. We had many opportunities to come back to see the space as we were planning. We wanted a loft feel close to downtown so Lake Affect was perfect. I was able to DIY a lot of the decor and felt like it reflected our personalities. We were able to come in from 10-5 the Friday before our wedding to decorate and set up. We really love the super long bar top they have. All alcohol was done through them and they had several different packages with a lot of variety and add ons that we felt were reasonably priced compared to other venues. There is also a separate "suite" where the wedding party was able to hang out before being introduced. I was a little worried that it would be warm because our wedding was in late June but the space is air conditioned and it didn't feel too warm at all. Overall it was an excellent experience, we had the MOST FUN, and we would definitely recommend holding your wedding reception or other event there! Thanks Lake Affect, hope to be back soon! read more
