Alternatively, I could buy a new computer. My data was very important to me so I elected to have Dan take a shot at it. The results far exceeded my expectation. He installed a new solid state hard drive, retrieved virtually all of my data from the old one and installed it on my new hard drive all for significantly less than the purchase of a new laptop.
