This company is a horrible rip off. They make themselves sound great on the phone, "$19 fee to come out and labor starts at $35 for the service." Great! I think. All I need is the door to my bathroom to be opened in my place of business. That should only take like 5-10 minutes tops! So $54 seems like it would take care of that. Well, Shai arrived was very nice, even though he brought his puppy. Really? I am not a dogie day care. Anyhow, we then walk over to the bathroom area and he looks at it and says he can't pick this lock because it is a security handle, unlocked from the inside, locked on the outside and can only be opened with the key, which was locked inside! So, he has this long metal thing, like an outstretched hanger with a piece of wiring between the two ends. Looks like a huge version of the bow to a violin or cello or something. He sticks it under the door, twists it up, and hooks it onto the handle on the inside of the door. He pulls down and voila! Door opens up. It took about 7 minutes time. We then go up front where he proceeds to tell me "With that type of lock, people normally pay $100+ to open the door. You can't pick these kind of locks." Then he hands me the bill and it is the $10 service fee, $19 labor fee, and a $60 "open door" fee. An open door fee?! Seriously? Isn't that what you came here for and you are going to charge me extra for the 7 minutes you were here doing what you came to do? He says "Yes, but this is less than normal. I am sorry if there was a misunderstanding but this is not my company. I just charge what I am supposed to." Yeah. That was a crock. After I paid Z Locksmith via square with my card. Z Locksmith is another locksmith company that actually has 5 stars on yelp. I am not sure why he is associating himself with this shitty company. Maybe he is just as shady as they are. This is unacceptable. I run a small business and would never think of overcharging my customers like that. I am extremely pissed off that a 7 minute retrieval of my bathroom key just cost $100. I didn't have any re-keying, lock picking, door handle removal or anything extensive. Just my door opened. I will never use this company again and will be filling a BBB complaint against them. At the end of the day, sent a en email, what happened today? Receive an response overnight, saying, I was too busy, can I come at 9 am on Monday. I said OK. I would give no stars if I could. Leaving this review will more than likely bring them to call me. So the fact I'm leaving this no matter what, should serve as a warning. Completely unprofessional owner and unless you want to get poor service and cursed out by the owner, heed our one stars. Originally requested to have a key cut and programmed to a car (mind you this was not a transponder key but one with a built in remote, which I had already purchased and clearly stated on our phone conversation) I scheduled an appointment for Sunday ; however, apparently the appointment was completely forgotten. After contacting the main office, the technician returned my call, apologizing, and agreeing to a rescheduling, he finally arrives after 2 hours past the original appointment time and is 30+ minutes late on the rescheduled time. Upon initial greeting, I introduced him to the vehicle and provided the key after which he looked slightly bewildered. This is immediately where I should have pressed the question, "what is wrong, can this key be fully programmed?"; however, I did not. An honest technician would have stated "oh, I thought we were providing the key" or "I can only cut and program this as a transponder key. The remote commands to lock/unlock the vehicle will not work." After 20 minutes, he states he is finished, and I ask to try the key. I realize the remote portion of the key does not work. He states he understands, and will return as soon as he has the module to do so. Ok, no problem. This is where he demands to be paid and things get ugly. After a rather rude confrontation involving the owner of the establishment over the phone, we were met with the statement "Fu**ing pay him now" At that point I said "Leave, now, I am contacting the police". We had to contact the authorities due to the issues of wanting FULL payment for half of the work originally requested. I have zero problem paying but when work is 100% complete, which I did when it was 100% completed the following day. read more

I had read the reviews for this locksmith, and noted that the majority of complaints were related to timeliness, customer service, and pricing. Despite the complaints, I decided to use this service since the majority of reviews were positive. My husband and I called early in the week for the locksmith to come to our house on the weekend. It was agreed that Sunday morning 10 AM the locksmith would be there. We also requested a quote, and specified exactly how many doors and how many locks needed to be addressed. We were given a quote of $95. Sunday morning comes, and by 10:45 there was still no locksmith and no call. So we reached out, got a hold of someone, and was told that "they are on their way, they will be there soon." Nobody got to our house until 11:30. While the locksmith was there, he addressed all the locks we had previously agreed to (there were no surprises for him). When all the work was done (2 hours later) we were charged over $200 for the services. While the job did eventually get done, it was disappointing that we had to wait around for hours waiting for the service, and that we were shocked by the price even though we had requested a quote ahead of time. Since Toyota no longer provides a basic "valet key" with new vehicles: David made an inexpensive "transponder key" for a new '18 Camry; key does work fine . The fellows who work there don't run a very efficient shop, nor show respect for customer's time. I had been communicating w/Shai by TXT, for a couple of days prior to find out if he could make a duplicate Transponder key for brand new 2018 Camry & my cost. He said yes & $55 CASH; when asked if he took CC's, he said $60. ( Fair price, No mention of Sales Tax.) Via Text w/ Shai that fateful morning, I asked if he could make my key today and He curtly replied 3:30pm; When I asked, who should I see, he replied "Shai", When I asked how long it would take, he said 10 mins. I thought: "Fine, Cool". I arrived at his shop that @ 03:20pm that afternoon. Shai was NOT there. David was, but Shai had not properly informed him about my vehicle; After about 15 mins, I discovered the Shop did NOT have my Key-blank in stock, David had to drive away for 12+ mins. David asked how much I was quoted, then David ADDED Sales Tax to Shai's quoted price. I was able to drive out with my working key in 52 mins. This job is being done while I am out of town. I originally spoke with Shai and was given a quote, unaware that a deadbolt with double locks is counted as two locks. So my quote was way lower when Roy came. I understand he worked hard but he started out late in the afternoon , since it turned out to be a big job, it took him a great while to finish it. Everything could have been good and fine except for one lock that he removed and not knowingly that he put it in his bag and replaced with a lock(my new lock) that is not acceptable in that location. When I called him and asked him, he said they do not keep locks. My brother saw him put it in his bag. And I also asked him if he could change the lock that was not acceptable, he refused to do it without additional charges when in fact (and I mentioned it to him) he charged me more than the quoted price without letting me know, and my brother not aware of the quote, gave him the credit card. It was quite a surprised when I saw the charges on the credit card. I didn't complain as I looked at it as my tip to him. But with one lock that needs to be corrected..he refused to compromise ..sorry Mr Shai, am not happy with Roy as this could have been prevented and I told him so..he didn't care if I posted a bad review.. read more

ATTENTION! Look I'm not the one to always leave a review even if I had a bad experience but, man the service here sucks and they deserved it! I own a 2008 BMW 535I.. My original key was giving me issues as far a unlocking and locking the car. I thought it was programming/battery issue being that my car hasn't been on the road since Harvey. The only thing that worked was turning on and turning off the car. So after I got some info from the bmw dealer they told me the Key itself just needs to charge when its in the ignition. If that didn't work means the key was bad.. So they quoted me for a new key and programming.. AND AS WE ALL KNOW DEALERS CHARGE A ARM AND LEG. So being that I wanted to avoid the pricy fees from the dealer I called these guys.. Biggest mistake of my life.. Okay so this is how it happened.. So when I called them it was around 5:34pm i asked if they do program keys for bmw.. He said yeah that they had several guys that specialize with this sort of car. He quoted me around 300$ with key and that they would send someone out there within 40 minutes.. a hour and half goes by I get no word. I was about to leave assuming he wasn't coming.. He txt me around 7:10pm saying my guy should be there now, in which he was.. so when the guy started working on the car he said the original key was no good that he had to reprogram a new key that I would take 1 hr , 1 hr 30min.. ALSO! said that the price his boss quoted me for was for a bmw 3 series , so now the price jumped up to 450.. being that it was on the spot I said fine just get it over with it. I waited about 2 hours, guy calls me outside to let me know what he had did, he started programming the new key but that computer he was using was stuck on the loading screen just about half way.. he said he would have to come back with a new software because the one he was using was outdated compared to mine.. Make matters worse he erased my old key so now that he had to stop mid process both keys didn't work and I was unable to turn on my car.. the ignition would not respond to the keys.. So I was stuck with 2 keys and a car that would not turn on.. keep in mind it was running fine before these guys showed up.. So the guy told me he would be back tomorrow 9/26/17 around 11am with a better computer. I was a little annoyed but had no problem with it.. so now on the next day 9/27/17 its already 2pm I had no calls from these guys.. so I decided to call the same number I was dealing with.. When I asked him what happen wit the service he told me that he would have him call me now.. waited about 20-30 min for this man to call. NOTHING.. I called back he didn't answer but he texted me saying "he is calling you" waited about 10-15 min nothing yet.. so i called him again.. he didn't answer i must of tried 2 or 3 times than i called him from a different line he didn't answer. i waited 5 minutes and called him from another line he finally answered.. I asked him why he wasn't answering and why he kept telling me his guy would call me now.. he said he couldn't get ahold of him that he was scrambling around to find someone else & the guy he had was a guy not from his company that he had to find other guys to do this favor for him. so its around 3-4 pm I called him again and he said he would find a guy and he would go over to my location after he finished his one job.. now its 7-730 he calls me back and asks me for my tittle of my car,, the supposedly he needed it to take it the dealer so that he can get a new box to program the key.. I honestly told him I was no longer doing business with this company. That his services was the worst I ever gotten in my life.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! It amazes me how many great reviews they have and that supposedly the bad reviews are all fake.. well know that this is one is not fake! IF I COULD GIVE THIS NO STARS I WOULD.. I just had the worst experience with a business owner in my entire life. After being delayed over and over again, I agree to meet Shah for the only time available today in HIS SCHEDULE, which was a 15 minute window to pick up my front door smart lock I had left 2 DAYS before to be keyed to my existing house key. I arrived way ahead of him, fearing I would miss him, reached the door to the store and it is locked. I start to call him and at the same time get a call from him asking me if I am here yet. I said yes and where are you? Mind you all of this is taking place while I stand for 10 minutes in 55 degree weather waiting for him to park, take a couple of minutes to get out of his van and walk to the door. It's obvious I am freezing. No good morning - nothing. As he approached the door I noticed he has my lock set in the box I had brought it in, in his hand. I said to him that I made it within the 15 minutes. He then accuses me of having an attitude and turns to walk back to his van. I asked him to bring my property back to me. He says nothing except do you have cash? Do you have cash? I said I have everything. I give him two $20's and need change. He says he doesn't have it and instead of walking over to a choice of three very close businesses that were open to get change like any other gentlemen or successful business owner who values their customers would do, he says it is my responsibility to have change. (?) I told him to just keep the change and give me my property. He then throws the box on the grown. I asked him what his problem was and he called me an ugly bitch. I told him that a lack of intelligence and limited vocabulary generally leads people to putting other people down by their looks because they have nothing else to use. Unfortunately for Shat, I am very comfortable with my looks and considered attractive. I told him I would not be intimidated and told him if my lock is damaged in any way he will replace it. He then approached me where he was 2" away from me. He threatened me with having cameras and I said oh good, let's go in and watch the footage. He would not comply. He took pictures of my license plate and I warned him that if anyway he followed me home and approached my property I have 5 cameras! A witness approached in their car and wanted to know what was going on. I began to tell him and Shat/Shah/Shit walked over and began yelling obscenities to me and calling me names. The witness rolled his eyes at Shat's comments as to relay a silent message to me that this guy is crazy and I asked if he would be willing to go into the shop and view the camera footage as a witness. Before he could answer, Shat interrupted and said out loud (I lost count) that I was a crazy ugly bitch but he FORGAVE ME. LOL! I turned to him and said, I assure you I will forgive you at some point, but it won't be today! I felt violated as a customer, as a woman and as an American business owner myself. However, I never once got angry but instead calmly tried to deal with this man as a successful and experience business owner would do. As a customer, well, I am shocked! I will NEVER do business with Shat again. He has the worst customer service skills and did NOTHING to deescalate the situation as a business owner. In fact, I had to get in my car, shut the door and lock it to stop from hearing him call me so many horrible names. As a woman, I am saddened to see a man treating a woman in this manner. At one point in time, I feared for my safety and then a witness appeared and Shat backed off. It makes me wonder, if he treats me this way, how he treats his female family members and friends? It is a very scary thought. As a American business owner myself, I value my customers and go to EVERY length to make sure they are satisfied with my service and if they are not, I go to great lengths to make sure that they know I did EVERYTHING in my power to reconcile a problem. I don't believe some people should be business owners. I don't know whether in his country of origin that it is normal for business owners to resort to shouting insults and threats to their customers, but we don't do that here in America. I was shocked by Shat's behavior but not angry. Some are only in it for the money and could care less about relationships and repeat business. Shat displayed to me today he doesn't care. Shit was rude, angry, unhappy, disrespectful, condescending, arrogant and he attempted and failed, to intimidate me. I showed him that I can't be intimidated and that I have the intelligence and knowledge to not stoop to calling people names but instead attempt to work something out. He was having none of it!! He still has $10 of my money that he owes me back. But there is NO WAY IN HELL that I am ever going back over there to collect it. Be very careful when considering using this business. I can not tell you anything about the service they claim to provide rather provide you some insight into their dangerous and dishonest behavior. One of their service vans was driving erratically pulled up next to him. The employee threw hot coffee into my vehicle. I had to pursue assault (yes assault) charges against the driver. At first the owner was apologetic and told me he would suspend the driver for a week and offered to pay to have my interior detailed. I advised me to bring my car to a place near my house and he would pay the bill. That was until he found out the cost. He then refused and wanted to send "his guy" to my house to detail my car. Really, I'm going to let a dishonest locksmith with an employee I had to file assault charges against know where I live??? So I warn you of dishonest and dangerous behavior- beware. Think twice before calling this place!! I had asked specifically for 1 key to be duplicated once and another key to be duplicated twice. I left their store believing the worker was competent and that I was given a good product, only to discover that the wrong key was duplicated twice and 2 of the 3 keys did not work. He also etched their store information on my original key by mistake which they couldn't even polish off properly. I then returned to see if he could remedy the situation, only to discover again that the keys still would not work.
