Jay is a LIFE SAVER!!!! We're here for labor day weekend and just after we launch the boat, we loose a tire. Hub snapped and bearings blow out.... obviously we are on a holiday weekend and on the clock to get back home. We jumped on River Whips Facebook group and asked for a referral. After a great week boating on the river we were heading back home to Reno, NV when we lost a wheel off our tandem axle trailer. We had our trailer towed to BHC trailers for repair. I called the shop on Saturday and to my surprise Jay called me and told me to bring it in. Because I could not leave my trailer and needed to get home, Jay was able to do an emergency repair on my trailer replacing the hub, bearings, rim and tire. He also checked the other wheels, etc. I was back on the road in hours. BHC was not only gracious enough to help me out on a Saturday the service, workmanship, parts availability and pricing were outstanding. My family and I were out from CA and as soon as we checked into our Airbnb I noticed the hub to my trailer was blown. In a panic I needed to figure something out to start our vacation. By chance I was referred by an auto shop who referred me to a boat parts store who referred me to Jay at BHC Trailers. Not only did he respond right away, but told me he was in Barstow on his way back to Arizona. He gave simple directions who to contact for a decent tow price and that as long as my boat was at his shop before the end of the night, he'd have me on the water by 8am. BHC Trailers is absolutely amazing!!!!! Long story short....My friend and I were driving out from LA to Laughlin with the double JetSki trailer, when at midnight we decided to stop outside of Barstow to fuel up before the final push across the desert. Fortunately I looked at my trailer and noticed the axel was about to completely break and the tire on one side was pushed out and wearing thin. Had we decided to keep driving and had a full trailer failure some point soon down the road, I may not be alive to write this review. Anyways, after spending many hours trying to secure a tow for the trailer we found our destination "BHC" Trailers on Yelp and crossed our fingers... Jay was an absolutely life saver!!! I can not thank him enough! We arrived at 6am without sleep and Jay showed up a few minutes later. He was supposed to be driving to California to handle some personal business that morning but instead saved our ass and put on a pair of boots and got right to work on replacing the axel and two new tires. He is such a cool guy and definitely willing to help someone in need. He did an excellent job manufacturing a beefed up axel and new U bolts, as well as did a once over on the rest of the trailer. The price was very reasonable and I was beyond satisfied with his work. BHC Trailers turned a disaster of a trip into something salvageable. My trailer is as strong and safe as ever but this time I will keep a better eye on the wear and tear that comes with use in salt water. We have a boat trailer that was trashed from years of use in saltwater. After going to 2 different shops in our hometown that told us we needed to buy a new trailer, we decided to take the boat and trailer out to Bullhead where we spend the summers and get an opinion out there. On Friday (8-20-21) on my way back from lake Mojave one of my bearings went out on my Trailer. Saturday morning woke up and started the process of locating the parts I would need to do the repair. The Owner Jay from BHC trailers answered my voice mail immediately. He explained to me that he had taking the day off and was not working today. However Jay heard the panic and need to get my trailer fixed and make it back to California by Monday.
