At that time after Jack went ballistic with some rather choice words Venus the owner arrived and started on me about calling the lying Jeff a prick, an started screaming banging on the desk and swearing like a trooper, informed her i had been to an attorney and the police because i was not sure why the shop was all locked up. As no work as quoted had been done i requested my $11,000 deposit back and i would take my RV to another shop, she said that the fucking RV would stay there till it was completed i was to bring balance when it was done and there is the door now fuck off out of here, on Nov 9th got a message work in process call when done. its now been a hundred and one days no call after i was instructed to request progress and photos . i have text repeatedly since then but no reply, i have a couple waiting on The work being completed for the 10th Of December for 2 months, have notified her as my client would need to make alternative arrangements as RV rentals are scares now, i explained the money I loose because we are now 100 days from a 35 day quote, would ne deducted from final payment, today is 1st of December and they haven't had the decency off a reply got a message on the Dec 1st from body shop requesting a visit, being a bit weary about going there by myself as was abused verbally and tad worried about my safety. so stopped at the sheriffs office and had a sheriff accompany. The body shop had done very little from my last visit but side storage door on one side had been removed and was being patched with body filler and epoxy, the quote was to replace both damaged side door at quoted price of $675 each, not patch, i was stopped by the sheriff as they requested i leave and not to come back, today Dec 8th and i have had to cancel the booking for the 10th for a hire of the RV for Dec and Jan, did explain to body shop again but they said there is a notice in the office that delivery times were not guaranteed. So today Monday the 8th I'm contacting Arizona Attorney general with a claim of fraud.

We picked the truck up and it was really dirty so we couldn't get a good look at the paint job but, trusted they would stand behind their work. I asked about getting some touch up paint and they said that does not work. We washed the truck over that time frame and found multiple problems with the new paint job. They were on vacation the rest of the holidays until January 7th even though we tried to go there several times. The wind was really terrible the last 3 days, so we waited until today. Fred & Venice came outside to look at the truck and laughed at us because in their opinion we waited too long to bring the problems with their work to them. They said we washed the truck and that was the problem. Venice and Fred then proceeded to kick us off their property and said she was going to get her gun. She came outside with her phone and recorded us for some unknown reason. I tried very hard to get them to talk to me and get a resolution but, now I will let the court system decide. We have an inspection report from another company and pictures if needed. Please do not give them your business in this town. I promise you will be sorry you did.

I can't say enough great things about Anything Off-Road in Lake Havasu, Arizona, and especially Damon, who went above and beyond in a situation where another shop completely failed and left me stranded. I was visiting the area in March 2025 when my Jeep's rear differential blew up--a major issue when you're 1,500 miles from home. I initially trusted Bill Powell at Get it in Gear to repair the axle, which turned out to be a huge mistake! After making me pay the invoice, Bill casually mentioned they just needed to clear a check engine light--except that was a lie. The rear axle was locked up, making the Jeep undriveable on the street. Bill's attitude throughout the process was terrible--not just toward me but also toward his own employees and other customers. Worst of all, when his "repair" failed, he refused to take responsibility, blamed everything else, and left me stranded. This is where Damon and the team at Anything Off-Road saved the day. Within 10 minutes of calling, Damon personally arrived with a trailer and loaded up my Jeep. I asked him to tear into the axle and find the real problem--and he wasted no time. Sure enough, he discovered that Bill at Get it in Gear had assembled the locker incorrectly, causing the locker to be on 100% of the time. Damon even documented everything with photos, showing me exactly what was wrong. To fix it properly, the entire differential had to come apart again, requiring yet another new set of expensive bearings. Throughout the entire process, Damon kept me updated, communicated clearly, and went the extra mile--even performing some additional preventative maintenance while he was under the Jeep. His professionalism, skill, and dedication to doing things the right way were everything that the previous shop lacked. My biggest regret? Not going to Anything Off-Road in the first place! If you need off-road work done in Lake Havasu, don't make the same mistake I did. Skip the hassle and go straight to Anything Off-Road. Their customer service, expertise, and integrity are second to none. They don't just fix problems--they take care of their customers. Highly, highly recommended!
