Overall I liked the outfit that Bianca and I were able to put together for my event, I thought the price was reasonable for all the items you get. On the business side, if I'm being completely honest, Bianca was not the friendliest person to interact with. She'd react/respond a bit insensitively if you didn't like a particular item she'd pull for you, which honestly made me feel a little uncomfortable to say no if I wasn't seeing something I liked. I fully understand that I myself can be a bit picky when it comes to renting costumes but I do think this type of process is collaborative at the end of the day. It's important for a business owner to be able to put aside personal opinion/ego and focus on working together to find something the client loves or be able to refer them to a business that may have more of what they're looking for. Her husband was extremely nice and at the of the day, I appreciated Bianca's help but her prickliness was something I just didn't love interacting with and honestly makes me hesitant to rent from her again in future. read more

There are no words for Bianca's collection. It's amazing to say the least. I just celebrated NYE at a roaring 20's party and could not find a place that had good quality items for the price these places were charging. I stumbled upon Bianca's Historic Costumes through Yelp (Thank you YELP!), called her and made an appointment with less than a week till NYE. I was in and out of Bianca's home in less than 45 minutes and had the best looking dress and attire at my function! I received so many compliments from others and felt like a real 1920's movie star. At the very last minute, I received an invite to a party and needed to find 18th century clothing ASAP. How do you find an 18th century costume in less than 24 hours? I went to yelp and found this place. The reviews looked good, so I called and left a message on friday night and prayed they would call me back on Saturday. I received a call the next morning and scheduled an appointment for 2 that afternoon. The place was close to my house, so I decided to skip other costume places and I just crossed my fingers in the hope that I would find something sufficient for me and my husband. I was not disappointed. Within 10 minutes of walking in the door, Bianca had measured me and had pulled out a beautiful 18th century french court gown. I tried it on and it was beautiful. To go with the dress, she had a wig and jewelry. Once, she had my outfit put together, she found an outfit for my husband. His costume was just a amazing. The costumes are all handmade by Bianca and they are so detailed and elegant. Our outfits received a number of compliments at the party. The entire experience was quite pleasant.
