Ok so we were walking around & peckish and all the restos were pretty full...it was a lovely bright sunny day & all the nice ones where you could sit outside were all full of smokers...how to ruin a wonderful café culture breathing in someone else's inhaled & exhaled smoke while you are trying to eat!!! So we chose a place that looked ok & went & sat inside to eat...a revelation, well for a little Italian pizzeria plus Service good, price ok and my pizza - & I have to say I don't usually eat pizza - was brilliant; in fact probably one of the best I've ever had. 3 cheeses & pears overlaid with prosciutto. Excellent. The pasta was apparently pretty good too Would pass by again if down that way

Amazing food. Very nice place to sit with a group during Fashion week in between shows and before parties. Very good drinks

It is a tourist trap, spend your money elsewhere! Honestly, this place was terrible. The only reason I'm rating it two stars instead of one, is because they gave me my money back when requested. Ordered the spaghetti bolognese (because how do you scree that up?) and it literally had no flavour. Sent it back and asked for it to be removed from the bill, which after being questioned by three different staff members about what was wrong with the food, they obliged. The bruschetta was served with melted cheese (?!) and barely any tomatoes. Everything was bad and overpriced.

First night - seated outside for ppl watching.
Too close to the table next to us though

It seems like a lot of the complaints here are about mixed drinks. But I didn't have that problem as I love Parisian wine, and I found the food to be quite delicious. The first night of our trip to Paris, we wandered up and down the street and settled at an outside seat here. While it was a bit too close to the couple next to us (we saw them happy, angry, their moods going up and down; slightly discomforting) it was still a decent spot for people watching, otherwise. We started out with the appetizer trio - a mix of Italian charcuterie, cheeses (including fried cheeses), cheeses on bread, more bread, and veggies. It said it was for '2-3 people' and the waiter didn't seem surprised when we ordered it and a pizza (bc we are American?;) but when it came it was HUGE! It could easily serve 6+ people, but it was delicious, and gave us something to snack on the next day. ;) We also ordered, that first night, a pizza with olives, olive tapenade, and I believe brie. My husband was in heaven with this pizza ;) It was good, I'll admit. Sorry that I don't recall the name. A few days later (Sunday) we'd walked a ton and went back to our apartment to rest - but woke up super hungry (of course!) It was after 11:00 PM but thankfully Bianco was still open (albeit much quieter than the prior night) and I was happy to go back and order another pizza that looked interesting to me - the Parma Luxe pizza. We were also given fried bread and olives as an appetizer, which hadn't happened the other evening. (We also sat inside, which was pleasant.) My husband had the veal parmesan (or escalope de veau) which was delicious. Unfortunately it came with cold pasta which was just strange to us. My pizza (Tomate, Mozzarella, Chèvre, Gorgonzola, Poire, Jambon de Parme) with pears, cheeses, and parma ham totally hit the spot. I took half home and snacked on it for breakfast the next day - it was still delicious. I say, if you go to Bianco, don't go for the 'scene' or mixed drinks, go for the food, the very good wine, and if you're lucky, the not-too-crowded atmosphere. I am definitely a fan.

Great ambience on Montorgueil but AWFUL bar. The drinks are bad and expensive and the service is awful. After having drinks on the terrace for an hour with friends, the waiter told me I had to switch my comfortable seat with back support for a bar stool because other women/new customers had arrived... Obviously I didn't move, but still -- can you imagine?? After an awful drink at a ridiculous price, I can safely say I'll never come back here again (and I live two blocks away!). AVOID.

Stylish place. Sit outside and watch people pass by have a drink and it's good place to be. Food service however needs improvement. As regards taste it is quite ok, but e.g. the ceasar salad lacked dressing, the fries have been cold, refill of dry baguette bread compared to fresh bread when first served.

This place is always packed with the good looking crowd who want to see and be seen. They still allowed me in one day when they had room and the pizza was good, but not spectacular. While I didn't try anything else, the place always smells good and looks good.

Wine, blanket and stool - check!

Nice location and the decor is flashy. We had the Sunday brunch. The food was okay, at best.

The concept is interesting--especially the use of umami, herbs, and French spirits like armagnac and calvados in creative cocktail builds--and the menu looks incredibly tempting. However, in execution, while the idea of layering savory umami notes with herbs and French spirits is clever, the drinks didn't quite come together in a way that felt balanced or as refined as expected from a bar of this reputation. That said, the bartender was excellent and very accommodating. When we weren't fully happy with a drink, they proactively offered to change it, which was a really nice touch and showed great hospitality. The overall atmosphere is fantastic--intimate, stylish, and lively in a way that makes it a great place to spend an evening even if the drinks fall short. Overall, it feels a bit overhyped. There are definitely better cocktail bars in Paris in terms of drink quality, even if this one wins on concept, creativity, and ambience.
