Business has offered me travel a lot around world, and been always seeking Korean restaurants…read moreeverywhere I land. Visited many Korean restaurants in many countries from US to EU, and I found Yori is belong to the top tier. Service seems depending on the time of the day as usual, but flexible enough to accommodate me despite arrival during break time between 4 and 6 PM that I didn't know. Now I recognize the opening time is corrected at Yelp. Overall for service, comfortable to give 4 and half stars. Food is the most important to me as I've always looked for authenticity of Korean dishes. There are lots of places serving fusion, not authentic Korean dishes around world, which make perfect sense to me because they're supposed to serve local clients, non Korean. Therefore I don't intend to claim anything negative to those places serving fusion Korean dishes. However, Yori seems to be a rare Korean restaurant around world where is brave enough to serve AUTHENTIC Korean traditional taste to Vienna folks..! Of course, everyone has different tastes, but I dare you to try all menu items there and I'm confident to say that most Korean traditional menu dishes are authentic. For your reference, my favorite consists of Kimchi Jeon as a starter or appetizer, Sundubu JJigae as main, and Nokcha Icecream as a desert. There is Very Berry Soju if you're caring for a Korean alcoholic beverages. This is a Soju cocktail with pretty reddish visual... I loved it. This is my 3rd visit to Vienna for last 6 months and I'll come every quarter, but no longer worry to discover a Korean restaurant fulfilling my craving for Korean food. This makes my stay at Vienna simply more pleasant..! I would give 5 and half stars on food. Taken all together, five star with two thumbs up...! P.s. Vienna is a gorgeous place with rich history and music... can't wait for next visit...!

TLDR: okay food (if it's 3 stars) and horrible service/attitude. Could get better food with quality…read moreservice for much better prices elsewhere. The food was a bit too salty, the service was slow, and the waitress needs to learn common sense. The waitress and cook spoke Korean and assumed I didn't know what they were talking about, so when I went to pay with card the waitress made a snide comment to the cook about how people don't even ask and try to pay with card. This, despite there being a sign that said they take card being near the table. She also continued to think I didn't speak Korean despite me saying that my friend and I would be paying separately in Korean to her (which she did not understand). The food took forever to come out and was far too salty for Korean style cooking (I ordered teriyaki chicken, a Japanese dish, but it was still far too salty). The miso soup was flavorful, but again contained way too much salt. The rice was sub par and didn't have the texture or flavor that good rice should have. The salad, which came with the teriyaki box, was alright. The only decent part was the avocado sushi that came with the meal, of which there were 6 decently sized pieces. Be warned, they have tap water but it'll cost you .50 extra (maybe it's for the glass that they need to clean?) Objectively, the food is worthy of an establishment with a 3.2 star rating at best. The service and the waitress's attitude, however, entirely ruined any enjoyment I may have gotten from the food alone.

Very good food. Reasonable prices, good service. The place…read moreisn't the most appealing but it was warm and everyone was kind. A bit too many "happy" people :-)

We were able to get a table right away. Got the menu, water (we did not drink) and the waiter who spoke Korean got the drink and took our order. Food arrived in timely manner. Our jun came out in smaller sizes but had several which was perfectly fine. Sometimes I prefer this way so I can get more crispy edges. Got the bibibop and also kimchee jiegae. Bibibop was very good. Perfectly made the way I like. Individual veggies seasoned properly. My kimchee jiegae needed more time for the meat to cook longer to bring out the flavor. Other than that all worked oit great. unique. Some of the banchan was very unque. Apparently, we got lucky to taste mom's speciality offering. Repeat!

I grew up eating Korean food and I love Korean food. I eat it at least three times a week…read more Sometimes I eat Korean food everyday. Currently, I am backpacking through Europe so you can only imagine how much I miss good old Korean food. So when I found this joint, I gave them a try even when they had only three stars on Yelp. You could say that I was pretty desperate for Korean food. I needed kimchi in my system! Disclaimer: I am giving this place three and a half stars. However, I am giving them four stars on Yelp because I am rounding up!!! So please note that before reading my review. Their sushi (sushi is not Korean food for those who get Japanese food and Korean food confused) was not satisfying. Their rice was way too sweet. The fish was not super fresh. Their kimchi jigae (kimchi stew) was also too sweet. But, it definitely hit the spot for my kimchi craving. Their portion for the stew was smaller than I get back home. The kimchi was perfectly fermented and cooked to a perfect caramelized texture. This is an authentic Korean restaurant run by Korean people.
