Pillars of Wellness has grown a LOT over the past several years. I personally have heard several…read morepositive reviews from clients and, knowing the leadership personally, I can honestly say these people do their best to make a positive impact on the community.

One of Pillars of Wellness' listed values is integrity. My experience is they have none. It's a…read moregood thing they did not also list Professionalism as a value because there is also none of that. After reviewing their listed clinicians and making multiple calls to get an appointment, I at first thought they were going above and beyond to make sure they accepted my insurance, even checking my plan with a new client who was on the same plan to verify his insurance went through and they were paid. I have zero copay on my plan. My insurance also verified they were on my plan. I was not able to get an appointment with the clinician I thought would be the best match for my particular situation. They set me up for an evaluation with someone else. On the day of the appointment, the clinician was late and also suggested we cancel and reschedule for another day. I declined because I needed to move forward and start therapy. I recall when he joined the online meeting, I was flabbergasted; it seemed like I had been mistakenly connected to a gamer in a bathrobe. His appearance and demeanor and the background setting were the most unprofessional experience of my life. He spent some time maligning Pillars of Wellness as a horrible group. When I told him the clinician I wanted to see, he told me that person left over a month ago. So I asked why the scheduler didn't tell me that when I made the appointment. He said the schedulers don't know anything about what is going on within the organization. He said there was one other clinician who seemed to be a suitable match for me but she was likely booked full and not taking new clients. So why am I here if you do not have anyone who is a good fit for me. He made promises about conferring with his colleagues on my case, but it seems he never did. I was so put off by this and the follow up call I made to get an appointment that I decided this place was more harmful to my wellbeing than helpful and I was fortunate that my insurance agreed to a single case contract with a professional, compassionate, caring, and authentic clinician at another location. In the meantime, I see on my credit card statement, Pillars of Wellness charged me $30 without my consent. I was willing to just write it off and put the nightmare of the experience with them behind me, but now they billed me even more. They want $100 for the most upsetting, unproductive, unprofessional experience they had confirmed was covered by my insurance. I am going to pay it because it's exhausting to try to fight it. They clearly do not care about the community or the people they serve or integrity. They are dishonest and dollar focused. I typically only take time to write positive reviews, but their service is such an important practice for so many people who are looking for hope and help. What they offer and how they do business could only make someone's situation worse than it already is. Ultimately, I am glad the situation with the initial clinician who maligned his own employer to a new client went so badly. I'm glad the follow up phone call was also unpleasant because God only knows who they would have sent me to next and how much money they would have billed for a service they researched and said had no copay. Perhaps when I'm feeling better I will take them to small claims to get my money back just out of principle. For now, the best I can do is leave my experience here and hope it helps someone who needs help to avoid reaching out to such an unprofessional and potentially harmful organization.

The therapist he was assigned was Stephanie, from All of Me Therapy. During the 8 months she worked with him through Early Intervention, we saw huge improvements. After he was too old for EI, we continued therapy with Stephanie at the All of Me office in Dyer. Max had been with her for over two years now and though he is still working, the strides he had made have been amazing. Stephanie helped him unlock his words, and we are deeply grateful for that. Besides loving our therapist, we have had only positive experiences here. The receptionist is friendly and professional. We have met other staff at events they've held for the children and it's always been a pleasant experience. When Stephanie was on maternity leave, the SLP who filled in for her was flexible with our scheduling needs and provided excellent service to our family. If your child is in need of speech-language therapy, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend All Of Me Therapy.

The office checked my insurance and told me everything would be covered. Turns out they were wrong and my out of network coverage is zero, not 100% which they told me. Just make sure YOU call your insurance and find out if they'll cover it, don't let the office check.

Originally, I was assisted by Margaret, therapist, who has since retired, but now I have a new therapist, Iesha, who has provided me with the type of care that I appreciate. The office administrative staff is great, especially Ayesha and Jen, the office manager who both meet and greet me with a smile and make me feel "at home", every time I come in. Once in a while, I get a notification that I have an unpaid bill; but they quickly realize that it is an error and remove the debt from my account. I am a therapist and take great pride in my work, it's disheartening to see that places do not, especially when mental health is involved. Do not waste your time with Mid America, ZocDoc, Dr. Wajid Khan, Dr. Kenya Moss, or Carly Augsten.
