This place is so popular, they are installing multi story car parks. With all sorts of discount designer clothes, shoes, handbags and the like, it is a mecca of fashion. The last time I was there, Jimmy Choo had an outlet as did Mullberry, Dior, Ralph Lauren, Bodum, Channel, and others. Each shop is an experience and they do vary from bad to great but overall it's a fun place to shop for designer goods read more

My favourite factory outlet mall in the UK. Hands down. Worth the trip out of London (Bicester is north of Oxford). Retailers include mid market Tod's, Molton Brown, DKNY, LK Bennett, Hobbs, Nicole Fahri, Monsoon, Paul Smith...and also some high end with Zegna, Celine, Dunhill... Check out their sites for more info. Best time to go is at the end of the usual sale periods, where bargains reach 75/80% off. read more

This is a great place to come to get your shopping fix. Firstly it's easily accessed off the M40, making it a shortish drive from Birmingham, London and in and around the Chilterns. Now that they have built the multi-storey bit of the carpark, parking is relatively easy, although first thing in the morning is always the best time to find a convenient space. The layout is along a central spine, with a small square in the middle, and another at the end furthest from the main part of the carpark. It's not covered, so can be chilly in the winter, particularly if the wind is blowing up or down the spine. However, the shops are close together, so it's just a case of dashing from one to the other. There is a mixture of fashion, home accessories, jewellery and accessories, menswear and food outlets. Brands range from the discount Books etc to mid-market Monsoon, relatively affordable designer such as DKNY, Nitya and the like to the more brace-yourself designer spends. There is a Cath Kidston shop, L'Occitane, Molton Brown, Monsoon, DKNY, Tods, Nitya, Elle, Clarks, Timberland, Villeroy & Bosch, Links of London and Carluccio's deli to name a few. You'll also find a Pret A Manger, Starbucks, a snack shop and a restaurant attached to the Carluccios. Sale time is fabulous, but I echo my earlier warning of going early in the day if you don't enjoy crowds! read more

If you're a shopahiolic with a penchant for overpriced designer stuff, you'll love it ! If you're having a wander round looking for nothing in special with a couple of kids in tow, it's a nightmare ! There are lots and lots of clothes shops and not that much else - a couple of nice places but we were disappointed overall. Easy access and lots of parking but it's pretty small and very very crowded. read more

If Versace, Ralph Lauren and other designer labels are your thing then look no further. What could be better than a day's shopping followed by a stop at one of the many restaurants/cafes for food and coffee? Maybe go during the week to avoid the crowds at the weekend as the car park fills quickly! read more
