I did not know that AutoZone was based in Memphis, Tennessee. I used to live in Nashville, so that was news to me. AutoZone is the largest retailer of auto parts and accessories in the United States. Originally a division of Memphis-based wholesale grocer Malone & Hyde, the company was known as Auto Shack. On July 4, 1979, the first store opened in Forrest City, Arkansas under the name of Auto Shack. I was impressed by their prices... very reasonable. Went next door to another yard and they were far more expensive. I would recommend this place if you are looking to fix your car and you are on a budget. They even offered t o help install the part which only took minutes. Definitely would recommend and brag about this place. Very nice people. They also offer cash for junk cars. Either way it's a win ... win.

I went in because my car had some issues starting, so in the spirit of research and finding out costs, I went to see how much a new battery would cost. They had a great selection of them, including Die Hard, which used to be sold only at Sears...many...many years ago... That brand has since been sold to Advance Auto Parts (in 2019-2020). I can't believe how expensive these batteries cost, but again, this is the "heart" of your car, so better get one that starts all the time. Anyway, nice clean store, with knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I stopped at this AutoZone to check on the prices of the motor oil. The store is located in a…read morepredominantly Hispanic area, so all the staff I heard or dealt with were Spanish speaking, which is an advantage for those who are not fluent in English. I was checking the different prices and I was amazed that even the cheapest quart of motor oil is almost $6...it's cheaper to buy the 5 gallon if you need that much. I asked for assistance and one guy helped me find the best value at the store. The parking lot is not big but ample for this area.

After her outburst, she just stood there, chatting with different coworkers and doing absolutely nothing while Thomas handled all the work. It was incredibly frustrating to witness such a lack of respect and teamwork. This experience left a lasting impression on me, and it's hard to overlook the unprofessionalism displayed. I hope the management addresses this behavior in the future.
