The acoustics in the place are great and last night's duo "Cool Change" provided an entertaining evening giving the audience the descriptions and histories of the original writers and artists before playing and singing the ballads and cover songs from the 70's. Cool Change also played an original theme song they wrote just for the Wild Moon Rose. I would enjoy additional seating at small tables- offering more of a club atmosphere.

We planned our wedding from Los Angeles and Keith was amazing throughout the whole process. We rented the tables, chairs, and linens from The Brick--it was all beautiful! The venue was a reasonable price. Everything was laid out very clearly in the contract and the FAQs. Anything I needed help with, Keith was available by e-mail and responded very quickly. Our vendors were easily able to access the venue to set up catering (The Landing) and the cake (C'est La Vie). It was a stress free and beautiful day. I couldn't ask for anything better! We got their at 3:11pm check in was 3pm - we got there and no parking for over 2 miles away from house on the side of a road in a sketchy area... We had no way of knowing about this until we arrived because their description was a lie and not detailed enough... They didn't say they had 6 rooms but only 3 parking spaces... We had 2 large suitcases, a large duffel bag. And a large cooler that they expected us to walk over 2 miles with to the house to check in... We never made it in the building - after about a half hour of calling and messaging with no response from owners we left to book another hotel over 20 minutes further and at another 200.00 in costs... we had no way to cancel the room backseat we couldn't get ahold of anyone so they said because we didn't cancel they are kept 80.00 of the 94.05 we paid to book the room stating well we said parking was first come first serve.... YEAH LESS THEN 24HRS BEFORE OUR RESERVATION WHEN IT WAS ALREADY TO LATE TO CANCEL THE ROOM.... SCAM SCAM SCAM WITH NO RESPONSE OWNERS STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOUSE - It completely ruined me from ever staying at a bed and breakfast and definitely check out all their other bad reviews...

They had no one behind the bar who could poor drinks. Only had 2 people on staff who could serve drinks and one of them was collecting at the door. They lacked enough bussers. Our plates piled up on our table and no one came by to fill our waters. Totally unacceptable. They also don't allow enough time between sittings. A friend who had reservations for 1:30pm was still waiting at 2:30pm to be sat. Place food wise does a good job but lacks greatly in other areas

I was really disappointed by my experience with Christo's…read more After telling us that they never charge a room fee when someone eats a meal with them, Christo's was disappointed with the low number of meals we were purchasing and asked four days before the event for a $250 room fee. The contract didn't allow for it, so the owner begrudgingly allowed our event to take place without fee. At the last minute, the invoice included an extra $30 worth of tax not lined out in the contract. The owner was so upset with the whole thing that he made it a point to tell me right before the event that we "didn't have a contract signed by him, so we had to leave." The event was already set up, so he was "joking." While he thought it was funny, it really upset me and almost set the tone for the event for me. His customer service was absolutely awful, and I'm was surprised he mentioned how the small business works by "word of mouth." He must not understand that concept as he was incredibly rude. I would offer a word of caution while working with Christo's and will personally never support their banquet hall or restaurants again. That being said, the manager, Karla, was wonderful; the server, Amelia, was perfect; and the bartender has a great presence that added to our event.

I finally just invited everybody to come up and eat. The food was good, but I do not feel that there was sufficient food for 100. We probably had 50 people there. People were not going back for seconds. I would think there should have been a lot of beef-n-noodles left over. There was nothing leftover. I brought home some mashed potatoes, maybe a dozen rolls, and some lettuce. I would hate to think of what would have happened if we did have 100 people. Either enough food wasn't made, or it wasn't brought out and given to me to take home. And then when we were done eating, we just got up and walked out. Nobody acknowledge me/us at all. No thanks for your business. No goodbye. No, we're sorry for your loss. I spent $2500 for food and there certainly wasn't a lot of it. I tipped well and didn't even get so much as a hello/goodbye. I contacted the hall to discuss my disappointment and was told the owner was going to call me. A week has gone by and nobody has reached out. I will never go there again.

Mind you, there were plenty of empty tables. It is not like they were extremely busy. The quantity of people in the restaurant has changed significantly as it used to be packed. The food was overall cold, the selection was different than what was listed online. We did not have access to plates for the duration of the meal, did not receive any service with water refills or really anything. Our plates stayed piled up on our table. We really wanted things to be different and continue a tradition of coming for Mother's Day but after two years in a row of this, we will not be returning.

But at 5:00 am I was awakened by planes taking off seemingly directly over the hotel. The employees were very nice, especially the breakfast attendant. The breakfast had a larger variety than most HIE locations. The seating area was fairly crowded with tables and chairs in a small space. My room was clean, the shower looked dirty at first but after examination it seemed to be stained rather than dirty.

Clean!!!! Nice customer service. Good experience here. Will return when in area for business.read more
