Even with me only doing the piano performance for the ceremony, not in on the planning or numbers, I easily see why they picked this place and can highly recommend.

I attended a wedding at the Old Bag Factory, which is... an old bag factory! I think the name is…read morekind of funny and not the most appealing, but it is what it is! The building itself is very large and made up of several shops. The venue space is upstairs and also very large. The ceremony took place in a room with lots of great natural light. The only complaint is that the big pillars obscured the view of the wedding party for some guests. The reception happened right down the hall from the ceremony area, with the buffet line, hors d'oeuvres, bar, gift table, and guestbook table lining the space between. Everything was spread out to give enough room without feeling like you had to walk a mile to get anywhere. The bartenders were great and super friendly. We were seated by a very loud HVAC unit which made it tough to hear the MC and some of the speeches. The middle of the room was the dance floor area, which was pretty small but not a lot of people were dancing. The venue was simple and a little industrial, but a nice blank canvas for decor. Finally, the parking was a little cramped with not a lot of spaces; I believe some people had to park across the street so try to get there early if you need extra time.

There are different shops/ restaurant on the first floor at the bag factory. I would love to go back and see what else they have to offer. Tables and chairs were all set up when we arrived, and it was easy to get the table settings all arranged. They had everything we needed, from silverware/cups/plates/tea kettle/water dispensers and more. We used the projector for a brief period to show a slideshow, and the rest of the time we were playing music from my phone via bluetooth. The wifi was easy to connect to and was reliable. The venue is handicap accessible and the bathroom was large enough to fit the wheelchair of a member of our party, though it was a little tight for the wheelchair to turn a corner to get into the bathroom. They host all sorts of events here from weddings to jewelry making classes and more, so I highly recommend planning an event here!

We got their at 3:11pm check in was 3pm - we got there and no parking for over 2 miles away from house on the side of a road in a sketchy area... We had no way of knowing about this until we arrived because their description was a lie and not detailed enough... They didn't say they had 6 rooms but only 3 parking spaces... We had 2 large suitcases, a large duffel bag. And a large cooler that they expected us to walk over 2 miles with to the house to check in... We never made it in the building - after about a half hour of calling and messaging with no response from owners we left to book another hotel over 20 minutes further and at another 200.00 in costs... we had no way to cancel the room backseat we couldn't get ahold of anyone so they said because we didn't cancel they are kept 80.00 of the 94.05 we paid to book the room stating well we said parking was first come first serve.... YEAH LESS THEN 24HRS BEFORE OUR RESERVATION WHEN IT WAS ALREADY TO LATE TO CANCEL THE ROOM.... SCAM SCAM SCAM WITH NO RESPONSE OWNERS STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOUSE - It completely ruined me from ever staying at a bed and breakfast and definitely check out all their other bad reviews...

Wow-what a change and not for the better…read more Definitely downhill from the previous owners. Received tickets for a performance in the Round Barn Theatre and the buffet was an included. The buffet was a joke. Food was bland, over cooked and luke warm at best. Not much of a selection either: mashed potatoes-NO GRAVY!, green beans, Mac & Cheese, Pasta Alfredo, pulled pork and fried chicken. A side salad and roll was brought to the table. Salad was OK the rolls were hard. To be fair the pulled pork was the highlight of the meal. The chicken was so dry and over cooked; even the two adjacent tables we could hear them complain to the staff. Oh and dessert-not included. You'd think for $35+ dessert would be included Our waitress was apologetic but nothing she could do to make the situation better. She did comment how business was slow and I can see why. Definitely will not return to eat but would visit the RBT again as the play was the highlight of the evening.

It is a beautifully built theatre with great seating and acoustics. The entire theatre was originally located a few miles away and disassembled, each piece numbered, and reassembled on this site. We have had our motor coach in Nappanee for almost 2 months for various service and upgrade…read moreprojects. Since being here we have stayed several different places in South Bend, Elkhart, and Nappanee. Most shops give you the option of staying the nights in your rig but my bride isn't a fan of the 5:30am wake up knock. This house is by far the most comfortable, "home feeling" place we have been since we arrived here. We are staying in the the Coppes Suite and the room is spacious and clean. The bed and linens are very comfortable. We have slept very well. It's like sleeping at grandmothers house according to my wife. My wife has throughly enjoyed the huge bath tub, while I admit the hand shower has taken some getting used too for me. If you have trouble getting in and out of a tub, I would request different suite. Let's not forget the breakfast!! Yummy! Day one: Ham and egg cups, cheesy hash browns that would make Cracker Barrel jealous, toast with fresh strawberry jam, and a yogurt parfait. Day two: red pepper and cheddar cheese (local) omelette, roasted fingering potatoes, toast and a home made cinnamon roll! If you appreciate the classic architecture of a home built by community leaders from the mid 1800's. You will enjoy this place. If you are looking for glitz, there are several chains in Elkhart to stay at. Emily and Kenton are the most gracious hosts... Ps. The room had a smart tv so we could watch "our" Netflix and Hulu.
