The install was a month ago, but I wanted to use it enough before posting a review. Ours was nearly as wide as they will do. At first it seemed kind of clunky rolling it up and down. I figured that was due to the weight of the material. I discovered that putting a bit of heavy grease on the hook used to crank it up and down made a huge difference. So be sure to do that. The install was as I specified, but note that there may be a larger gap than you might expect. There is almost 4" of space between each end of our shade with the adjoining wall. This is not an issue for us since the shade is 188" long. You may want a different installation scheme to avoid that gap. See attached photo showing this.

Around 1p I called The Mobile Screen Shop and left a message asking about the screens and for a call back. Zack returned my call about an hour later, apologizing for not being in touch - I kind of felt (based on what he said) that my screens were forgotten about, but said Steve would be by my house later with them. Steve did in fact show up as promised with the screens - all good. In the end, it all worked out, yet I still can't help but feel like this is a side gig for these folks or something? I feel like if I hadn't called to follow up yesterday afternoon I would still be without my screens. Lastly, I should add that Zack called me after my initial review a year ago and apologized for the misunderstanding which is why I decided to give them another chance this last time.

She was told that we would be called back to set up an appointment for an estimate and that they were presently eight to ten weeks out before they would start to work. On March 22, 2021, my wife called again to clarify if they meant eight to ten weeks before we would get an estimate. They apologized and said no. They said we would have the person who makes the estimates call us back. On April 2, 2021, I telephoned them. They again said that work wouldn't begin until about eight to ten weeks. I explained that my wife had called twice previously and we hadn't heard from them. I asked if they wanted our business or not. They apologized again and said the person who performs the estimates would call by the end of the day. As I write this it is April 23, 2021, and we still haven't heard from them. Like I said above, I am not reviewing their actual work, just their terrible customer service and lack of wanting business.
