Decent service at first, but months after installation of glue-down vinyl flooring, we noted gaps between some of the planks large enough to stand a silver dollar on edge. Upon inquiry to the seller/installer, rather than offering a potential remedy (which IS available) the GM assumed a defensive posture and claimed that this was normal contraction. He based this contention on a picture and knowing that this was a seasonal home, although we maintain a temperature of 52 degrees when the home is unoccupied. Research indicates that such gapping is well beyond industry standards. The floor also shows many bumps and surface irregularities, indicating inadequate floor preparation. They offered to come to have a look, but it was obvious from his response that nothing was going to be done to remedy the issues. Not wanting to perpetuate his argumentative and somewhat condescending tone, I chose to address the issue on my own. I also contacted the manufacturer, Karndean Design Flooring, but received no response. I would not recommend Prescott Flooring Brokers in Prescott Arizona! read more

This is a late review for Yelp, but used this business back in August 2022. They installed luxury vinyl plank and baseboards and did a great job. Had a bit of a hiccup - not anyone's fault - when after my carpet was pulled up it was apparent that the slab had shifted, since the house was built 24 years ago. Anyway, they took care of everything (leveling compound) and it turned out great! They still finished the job ahead of schedule too. We are very happy with our luxury vinyl plank flooring and installation, it has the look of real wood, is durable and is easy to clean. From time of ordering to install it was only a 4 week wait, the price was reasonable and the installers were quick and very professional. The original install estimate was 2 days, one day for demolition of the ceramic tile, carpet and vinyl, and one day to install, but they did it all in one slightly long day. We replaced a small kitchen and dining room, living room, entryway and powder room. The installers put up plastic tarps floor to ceiling near our stairs to keep the dust from getting into the upper and lower levels and they also tarped up the built in bookcases and we had no dust in those areas after the install. We love the final outcome and wish we had done this sooner. read more

Two weeks ago we had approx 2500 square feet of carpeting installed in our home by Prescott Flooring Brokers (our whole upstairs). They are fantastic! For weeks my husband and I couldn't decide on a color for the carpet. Everyone at the store was so patient and helpful and friendly!!! When I finally decided on the color, the delivery of the carpet happened faster than we anticipated and we were anxious to have it installed ASAP. But, we were scheduled to go on vacation which worked out very well. I think it made it easier that we weren't home. (Neighbors were very helpful with letting them in and out but I had no qualms about them being there without us) The installers and Adam kept us up to date how the installation was progressing. They hired a great company to move the baby grand piano. I was present when they moved it back and they were very professional and friendly. We also had a small tile project done at the same time and they hired the installer. He also was very knowledgable, friendly and professional. This company did our bedroom. Apparently they didn't take in consideration that the rest of the house was tiled with the same tile and didn't space the tile the same. They used no spacers and the entire room has random sized spaces. Nothing is uniform. We are encouraged to hire local but if local is going to do a shoddy job, you have to go elsewhere! read more

They have a great selection of floors and carpet and understand the technical aspects of their product. They will actually spend time with you in in their store helping make product decisions. We are now planning on new carpet in the house and went direct to Prescott Flooring Brokers. And if their are any issues, they are very quick to respond and solve your issues. We had an issue in getting our vinyl plank flooring due to supply chain issues, Marcus was quick to keep us updated. Ultimately, he suggested we find an in stock supplier on an alternative product. Not being quite sure what I wanted, they offered lots of sound advice and had tons of samples and swatches to consider. Got a laminated floor installed about three years ago (about 1 year past their guarantee period) for $11,000, but it's been separating at the joints for a while. They came and looked at it, but that was the end, and now I'm sitting here with a rapidly deteriorating floor and $11,000 poorer. Wouldn't use this outfit again. This was a tough one - they actually get 4 stars for trying to accomodate me, but that's where it drops off. We stopped in on a Saturday to check them out and decided that was where we wanted to purchase carpet and tile to re-floor our condo. We had it listed for sale, so time was of the essense and we were told that they were two, maybe three weeks out. We went back in two days and selected our flooring, consisting of a small piece of linoleum, a small area where we wanted tile installed in the guest bathroom (currently carpet), and new carpeting throughout the unit. Two days later the estimator came, and we carefully discussed what we wanted. That was a Wednesday. We were told that we would hear right away. I called the following morning, and was told that by the end of the day we would receive a scheduling call. That never happened, so I called again Friday. Finally on Monday we were called and told that it would be three more weeks before they could get started, and that three different crews would be working. It would be a full five weeks after we first went in. Not happy. Having raised my concerns, later that day or the next I was called and they did accomodate our schedule for the most part. It did require my giving them a key as while the work was going on I would be away for work, but as the unit was empty that was acceptable. Up to this point is the four star part. The linoleum went down first. It was a small section, and was correctly intalled without too much concern. There was a fair amount left over which was rolled up and left in the garage. Good enough, and I was hopeful. Next was the carpet. As opposed to two days, I believe that it was placed in one. However, they left debris in the garage including tacks, obviously did not vacuum the condo when they were done, had left traces of glue and paint on other surfaces (we requested that they apply Kills under the carpet), and left "drink rings" on counters and the fireplace mantle. Perhaps in new construction, before a cleaning company comes in this is acceptable, but this unit was cleaned and painted prior to the flooring going down. The tile was last, and required a broken tile to be replaced and the entire tiling of the guest bathroom. When we returned from being away, it seems that only 1/2 of the bathroom had been tiled, and the entry and linen closet were caarpeted! It seems that the carpet crew often will do things like this "to make it easier" for the tile man to install with fewer cuts! In addition, when they removed the toilet the water supply line broke. They reinstalled the toilet and let my wife know that, and told her to call a plumber to have it addressed. Part of me would guess that they should have anticipated something like this happening and either suggested that we retain a plumber to do a remove and replace, or include the line as part of the estimate but they didn't. Giving the company credit, the tile installer did purchase a line and replace it knowing of my wife's frustration (I was still out of town on business). I shoudl pojnt out that I thought that we had requested 18" tile. However, 12" tile was installed. What's funny is that I don't have a receipt showing our choices but as the space is a narrow one the 12" tile does pass, if not looking a little "dated". The bathroom looks "OK", certainly not what we wanted. But what I want less is to have yet more work done and have to deal with more delays and potentially more mess. The company DID tell me that whatever needs to be done they would, and that they would address it immediately for which I do give them kudos. They at least wanted to make things right, something that you dion't see much these days. They did NOT offer any discount. Time is not in my favor and my stress level simply cannot handle any more work from their subs. I would not say do not go there; what I would say is plan carefully, pay attention and observe work in progress (something that we oculd not do). read more

Services performed: had our home re-carpeted and had the master bath shower & tub redone. Pricing, quality, speed of installation, etc. on the carpet was awesome. They had one guy knock out our almost 3k sqft house in 2 days (I did all the removal prior). I am very happy with the carpet, and don't have anything bad to say. However, here's why there are 2 stars....the master bathroom. Their "tile guy" didn't do what we were quoted, ran out of tile because he laid it around the tub incorrectly (came out onto the bathroom wall too far, and didn't go up the back wall to the window as promised). Grout isn't filled in on the outside edges (concave), he came out again, still couldn't fix it. Couldn't do basic drywall repairs on the corner bead of the shower (where the tile ran up to on the edge). Tried to charge me extra at the last minute. Etc. I would use them for carpeting, but I would never use them for another bathroom remodel. Call someone that know's what they're doing... read more

The job was complicated because it required replacing parts of a floor that had been removed following a flood. They had laid the entire floor 2 years ago and I was very happy with it then. We had Prescott Flooring Brokers install a significant amount of LVT flooring in our home. There were some issues with the product where some gaps and peaks appeared. They were extremely responsive to our issues, working with the product manufacturer first to try to resolve the issue, then ultimately they decided they were unhappy with the quality issues with the product, and they replaced the entire installation with a better product. They stand behind their work and the products they supply, and we would use them again without hesitation. read more

Flooring Brokers installed a vinyl covering to our AZ room. It was an outside patio but converted into an AZ room. After about 2 weeks bubbles appeared and we were very unhappy. For sure the installation was difficult. Mr. Meiux (sp) came out and made a personal inspection. He agreed that the installation was not up to his standards and agreed to make a new installation at his expense. It has been over a year and no bumbles. Everyone has different experiences, and I hope yours is better than ours. I would not trust one word that comes out of the mouths of anyone who works at this store. We told the sales person, TWICE, that we do not want a carpet that shows a lot of footprints. We understand that all carpets show prints, but we did not want one that showed a lot. Despite stating TWICE that we didn't want that, that is precisely what we got. When I had Mark (the owner) and Garin (GM) come by to show them the results, Mark stated that the sales person said we never told her we didn't want a carpet that showed prints. I never felt so sick in my life of a purchase and having to make the final payment. They didn't care...AT ALL...that we were dissatisfied. If you choose to work with this company, I implore you to use your phone and video every conversation...it's your only hope that honesty prevails.
