The park itself was very pleasant in appearance. It was well maintained and the staff were very discreet. The cabin we stayed in was really good. There was everything you could possibly need--cutlery, crockery and glasses, including wine glasses, cookware, toaster and a kettle. The living areas were small but well appointed with airconditioner, ceiling fans, sofa, dining table and chairs, microwave, stove and a very good bar fridge that worked perfectly and was sparkling clean.
The bathroom was very well appointed, very clean and with a good shower. The two bedrooms in our 4 berth cabin were also small, but had all the necessities--a double bed, closets and one had a small dressing table. Each bedroom also had a ceiling fan and built in bedside lights. With plenty of windows, there was a lot of natural light which was really nice. There was also a television, which was great to unwind with.
The water was outstanding. It was rainwater--fresh and clear--we drank it all the time. It was such a lovely thing to have rainwater rather than city tap water.
The only downside was the pillows, which were very hard and had no give in them. The mattresses were very comfortable, so next time we stay there, we'll take our own pillows!
It was a very peaceful and quiet experience, and I recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay that doesn't charge resort prices. The park also has barbeque facilities and a swimming pool, which is great for the warmer times of the year. read more
