While the new driver set up his things and teasingly called out to the departing driver 'part timer'. The new driver begin pushing buttons, adjusting mirrors, his seat, and other. Sounds like a long drawn out process but actually we were on our way rather quickly. After a short time, while at a stop, the driver unbuckled his seat belt, opened the door and meticulously repositioned a mirror on the external of bus. At the next stop he did the same only this time he meticulously positioned things around his seat / work station. In that moment I thought to myself, 'I wonder is this guy meticulous about everything in life.' There were various other thoughts about this meticulous driver going through my mind but mostly in that moment the greatest feeling I felt was safe. If this driver was this meticulous about everything, even his water, I was convinced he too would be as meticulous and mindful about his driving. Thankfully, my inclination regarding the driver was on point. He turned out to be a very safe and conscientious driver. I enjoyed a very beautiful, scenic, (still new to the area) and safe ride. Sending a big thank you to the Big Blue Bus Team! Thanks Big Blue Bus team for getting us around comfortably and safely.

    This was one of the most alarming encounters I've had with a public transit driver. While traveling…read morenorth near Santa Monica Beach, the driver of the large blue bus was weaving through traffic and maneuvering around vehicles in a way that seemed completely unnecessary. This wasn't an empty road--there were pedestrians, tourists, and families all over the area. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of concern afterward. When we ended up ahead of the bus, the driver looked over at us with an attitude and made dismissive gestures as if our concerns meant nothing. Instead of acknowledging the situation, he acted like everyone else on the road was the problem. Operating a vehicle that carries passengers should come with a higher level of care and awareness. A bus is not something that can stop on a dime, and careless decisions behind the wheel can have devastating consequences. The driver's behavior displayed poor judgment and a disregard for the safety of both passengers and the public. I sincerely hope this matter is taken seriously before someone's luck runs out and a preventable tragedy occurs.

Park and Ride is convenient, cheap ($6 round trip I believe?) and the only way I've gone to the Bowl for as long as I can remember. As before, you can board the bus earlier than the time chosen on your ticket. If you ride in a fancy tourist type bus, it'll be on your way there. Not only was tonight's bus air conditioned, with a bathroom, and played music, it was clean, with reclining seats and foot rests. Some seats even had seat belts. The tv screens were not in use but there is storage area above seats. The return ride bus is more like a city bus, mostly hard uncomfortable seats and not the smoothest ride especially on the freeway. Maybe they use a nice bus on the way because the Westwood route is on surface streets, about 70 long minutes, but also scenic through Beverly Hills, and West Hollywood via Sunset. It was a pleasant surprise to pass The Magic Castle. Once you arrive at the Bowl, an employee boards and gives you instructions on how to get on the right ride back. The employees are very helpful in making sure you find the right bus.

They moved Culver City to an area that has a covered parking lot and I didn't feel safe as a woman traveling alone. I chose Westwood instead. I parked in Lot 36 on Kinross Ave. It was easy and the lot is open. It cost 6$. The buses were already there. I got on a bus quickly. The bus takes the 405 north to the 101 South. We arrived at the Bowl in 40 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. There wasn't enough air on the bus or I would rate it 5 stars. On the way home the buses were easy to find in Lot B. I got right on a bus, and again was back at Lot 36 in 40 minutes. It would have been quicker if there wasn't a freeway detour. Everyone exited the bus and we were all parked in a small area. It felt very safe. Maybe this will become my preferred rout to the Bowl.

I'm always very hesitant when working with new companies because you just never know what can potentially go wrong--and the pressure is just that much more intense when you have 10+ staff members involved. So I'm very happy that Rebecca and her team, Lindsay and Andrew, were able to put together this amazing event. Rebecca really understands how to bring everything together, from the initial planning stages to the introduction/start of the event + during the event and bringing it all together at the end. They're all very professional and have a lot of experience in this. Even the team-building activities/games were fun (not too geared towards extroverts, introverts will enjoy it as well). There was a miscommunication with one of the locations we were supposed to stop by at, but Rebecca was very professional and had an alternative option already planned (which turned out to be an even better stop). Everything still went smoothly and we got back to the office early. I can't imagine how much more perfect the day could have gone. I highly recommend all businesses take advantage of Do Good Bus. It puts so much ease on the planner because you don't need to personally reach out to organizations about hosting an event. I would most definitely choose them again to host a future event!

In honor of…read moremy milestone birthday and wanting to find a way to give back, I came across the Do Good Bus and quickly reserved my date. Rebecca was responsive from the get-go and she and Bianca were amazing hosts on the bus. With my group coming from different parts of my life, they did a great job with ice breakers and getting everyone chatting with each other. It helped set the stage for everyone to work together on our community service, which was supporting EnrichLA with some gardening at a middle school. Definitely a unique activity where you have fun giving back. Go for a ride!

I had pay the fee for an extra seat for extra space and also picked the "panorama" seat selection to be in the front and as the name suggests, a panorama view out the front window. Instead I got a backward facing seat at a table for 4 with the passengers facing me using the shared table for their carry on and wanting to use my extra seat for bag storage.

This turned out to be a huge disappointment and a cautionary tale. Despite having purchased and reserved specific seats, we were informed by the driver that they were already taken. In lieu of no other option, we were moved to alternative seats next to bathroom further back in the bus. The driver never scanned our tickets. He showed us the screen on his app it was reserved by another from Kiev onward and I could also confirm occupied. After the trip, I contacted customer service to request a refund for the price difference between the premium seats I paid for and the standard seats we were given. The company's response was shocking and unhelpful. They claimed their system showed we were in the assigned seats and demanded photographic proof that we were not--an absurd request in any scenario. Who thinks to take pictures of other passengers in their seats or the driver's screen during an unexpected boarding issue? Can you imagine taking pictures of strangers in a war zone, foreign country etc. on how obtrusive this might seem... After digging through my photos, I found one taken by my daughter that clearly showed we were not in the seats we paid for. Even with this evidence, the company only refunded the miniscule booking fee, refusing to compensate us for the much larger premium ticket cost. When I tried to escalate the issue, they simply stated it had already been 'resolved.' Lastly this claim of refund has been five days ago and nothing of credit to my cc. Given delays in response and final outcome I have disputed with my cc, all in I am happy to pay standard rates just don't think its fair and reasonable to pay such high ticket rates for a non premium seat. Warning: This company places 100% of the liability on the customer if anything goes wrong with their booking system. Their customer service is unhelpful, and their expectations for evidence are unreasonable and systems seem unreliable from this experience. The entire experience was frustrating and left me feeling cheated on principle alone. I strongly advise other travelers to be cautious and consider alternative travel options.

There is no phone number to call and they do not respond to emails. DO NOT BOOK. My experience was - I booked a trip for 2 on Sat 1/29/23. I received notice one-day before on Fri 1/28/23 at 1:30pm the trip was cancelled from OC. I sent several emails that night to see if we could be transferred to the LA bus - no answer. So now I have $460 in lift tickets from Mammoth that I need to use. So I re-book a trip with LA Mammoth Bus Co on Sat 2/11/23. I receive an email on Thurs 2/9/23 stating they are shutting down their operations for remainder of 2023. Putting aside the unreliably and nuisance of finding the day before when you have your gear ready to go that your trip is cancelled, the main concern is now I have $460 in credits to mammoth I cannot use.... I wrote into the LA Mammoth Bus Co email to see if they have any suggestions or protocol to get a refund, no reply. This company is unreliable, and in my opinion fraudulent.
