Big Bore put in a new leach line for me. They where on time, very professional, on time, respectful of me and my property. They did break a water line (which was unavoidable) but fixed it before they left. I would recommend this company in a hot minute to anyone. I'm going to say the cost of the installation was reasonable considering, the equipment, the crew, and the hours it took to install it. With the exception of a large pile of dirt, you wouldn't be able to tell the work was done. They even put the wood chips back. Now I can wash cloths and still flush the toilet! read more

Jason is extremely professional and helpful. I have been looking to purchase some vacant land to build a home and I asked Big Bore Drilling if they'd meet me at the property for a site evaluation. I was worried about the space available for a home, RV garage, water well and septic system. Jason not only met me and offered his opinion, but he agreed to go back the following day after the seller's realtor had a suggestion to overcome the space issue. He called me from the property and let me know that what we were trying to accomplish was either not feasible or would cost significantly more than my budget. Horrible customer service, I scheduled them to come do my septic two weeks in advance, then called the day before to confirm and they didn't even have it scheduled. The person assured me they would come out the next day now that they scheduled it a second time, Friday morning nobody shows up, I called and spoke to someone and they acted like they didn't care and hung up on me. Update to my original review from last December when they were so FAST to get the job done. My septic tank filled up once again - I'm the only one living here and it filled in 11 months. I feel that they should have addressed the problem in the previous visit, and found out why the tank filled. I am not educated on the workings of septic tanks, but feel that they should have done more due diligence. Nevertheless, this time they said, well, then you need a new seepage pit. Approval was given to continue with the seepage pit. Big Bore didn't give any allowance for the past recent pumping. Sure, they didn't have to. They did a good job - fast, lots of large equipment. The only reason I'm dropping them to 4 stars is that although I was home and they knew it, they didn't tell me they were finished and leaving. There were a couple of minor issues on replacing the dirt over the septic tank that I would have asked them to fix, had I known they were finished. (I wasn't given the opportunity to check their work - was staying out of their way - and they just ---- left!) Sure would have appreciated an "We're through! Anything else, Ma'am?" But nothing. We suddenly started have "back up" problems with our septic system; absolutely no fun!. I called Big Bore and was happy to find out that they would come out that same afternoon to look at the system and figure out what the problem was. As it turned out our leach lines were becoming plugged after 26 years, so new leach fields needed to be put in. A crew was out two days later and put new leach fields in. In our case they had underground electrical as well as underground water pipes to deal with. They had all the equipment there that could possibly be needed for the job. They repaired sprinkler lines, they carefully worked around the underground electrical and finally they replaced all the dirt and smoothed out the area where the work was done leaving it clean and ready to grow new lawn. They went above and beyond and installed a riser and cap where the old hatch was on the septic tank so we'll never have to dig it up again; easy access the next time we need to pump the system. They also plumed the new leach lines in a way that if we ever need to switch back to the old leach fields, after they've had a couple years to "dry out", we'll be able to do so. Every step of the way they did a great job. I wouldn't even consider a different company as long as Big Bore is in business! read more

I called this morning to schedule our septic system to be pumped. I was told that a truck could be sent out the same day. I appreciated this even though we were not desperate. Called Big Bore Drilling on Tuesday at about noon time with request to schedule a pump truck to pump out septic tank. Was told they could be at our home on Wednesday morning. 8:00am, the truck and 2 technicians showed up...RIGHT ON TIME! It had been 4 years since we had to use the services of Big Bore Drilling. This time our landscape, trees and bushes in particular, had an adverse effect on our septic tank 'leech field'. The root systems of the trees and bushes partially blocked the flow of the leech lines, so the septic tank started to back-up and leak from the top. Not good! I called Henry to get an estimate on the cost of the job and fix. He got the plans from the city office and came to the house to see the problem. He diagnosed the problem, and provided the fix option, which meant my driveway would have to be excavated and the leech line re-routed down the middle of the driveway. This was an extensive project that required heavy equipment and manpower to execute and complete. As was the case 4 years ago, the crew executed professionally and flawlessly. Several sprinkler lines and drains were encountered during the excavation. Each was repaired, tested and replaced during the re-routing process. 25 tons of dirt were displaced by the excavation and rerouting. The dirt was moved to an alternate site on the property and smoothed for future use. Even though my driveway had been seriously impacted, all that was lost was a little topical gravel. The driveway was restored to its original surface smoothness and slope. One day, and Done! These guys are professionals, and know their business. They are the ONLY company I call when their services are needed.
