i want to recognize Zack, Chris and the big brand tire & service team for their awesome customer relations. i started coming here around the time i got my first car feb 2024 and was a bit nervous having to deal with the realities of owning a car and financially dealing with it but they made it easy, seamless and informative as much as they could which went along way for me personally. throughout the years it was just oil changes, brake pads here and there and occasionally something unexpected. this time around really made their friendliness, understanding nature and customer service shine. they provided amazing deals for all services i needed which was another huge help getting rid of some of the stress of the high bill lol. due to some technical difficulties I wasn't able to pay upfront through my method of payment, i explained to them my situation -as i am a commuter and work in Santa Barbara- and trusted me with leaving and coming back the following day. once i came back Chris provided far beyond what he probably should've and helped me resolve my issue later in the day when I wasn't anywhere near the store. their service is top notch, theyre super friendly, honest and helpful, so if you need to stop by somewhere to get a new tire or oil change i highly highly recommend you come here. also theyre pretty cool. read more

I was in this location and I had the worst customer service by Zach. He was rude and was making rude comments under his breath. I had a 11:00 am apt for a flat tire repair. He told me to pull around back and they would fill the tire up. I told him that there was a screw in the back rear tire and I wanted it looked at. He made a smart comment and told me I would have my car back by 4pm. I told him I made an apt and he said this is low priority. I didn't get my car back until 2:30. I liked the fact he didn't pressure me, instead warned me to bed careful. He brought out actual tires when asked, for my review. He was polite and low-key. Very convenient for a standard oil change and possibly a tire fix or replace but I must say anything else avoid Big Brand at all cost. Took my 2023 silverado in for and oil change... they put the wrong oil. They did change the oil after I had to go buy the oil elsewhere. Then I decided to get my truck lifted thinking these guys can do a legit job. Truck makes lots of noise even after returning it. For some reason my brake sensors on my front brakes are just hanging there. Took it back in and they said they would take care of it... yea they are still hanging. The guy at the front desk said he's almost positive that they were there when they gave me the truck back. Yea that was offensive. Im not going to keep taking my truck back. I was able to go online the night before and choose which ones I wanted and then at drop off/check in, I also added an alignment which was needed. All in all, a solid experience. Sales man Raymond. told me i needed a new tire because of ware which was not true as shown and shown in free alignment test. He tried to sell me a tire which of course I did not need; He told me I should change my oil every 3000 miles. I did none of this only got the oil change with my oil which I came for at my usual 10000-mile mark. evidently Raymond likes to take advantage of older drivers. We needed brake pads and tires for our Subaru and tires for our Dodge TurboDiesel pickup before the Thanksgiving Holiday. There was an initial miscommunication on Thursday with a Big Brand Customer Service Representative regarding my desire that Big Brand install Subaru OEM brake pads on our Legacy. Romero, the Big Brand Lompoc General Manager stepped in & called the San Luis Obispo Subaru dealership on Friday and left a message, as he tried getting the brake pads from the SLO Subaru Parts Department. The SLO Subaru Parts Department did not get back to Romero until he was in route to Ventura Subaru that Monday morning, telling him they didn't have the parts, but could get them in a day or two. By the time SLO Subaru Parts had called Romero back on Monday morning, Romero was driving down to Ventura Subaru Parts to purchase my OEM brake pads, then drove back to Lompoc & called us to bring in our Legacy for brake service & tires. We immediately took our car to Big Brand. Romero, the Big Brand Tires Lompoc General Manager drove nearly 200 miles round trip, on an early Monday, to purchase from Ventura Subaru the OEM brake parts that we had initially specified when we set up the appointment on the previous Thursday. As we were promised, the Michelin tires we wanted had arrived on Monday and the OEM Subaru brake pads were in the Big Brand Lompoc shop AND our Legacy was on the Big Brand lift rack, 2 days before SLO Subaru Parts could even get the Subaru OEM brake parts & the Michelin tires. My wife & I have never experienced the level of timely, outstanding service and cost savings that we received at Big Brand Tires Lompoc. We saved well over 400 dollars from what the SLO Subaru Dealership was going to charge us for the Michelin tires & brake pad service AND the Big Brand General Manager drove 200 miles round trip himself, to purchase the Subaru OEM brake pads.
