On the way, we had some bus trouble, which was unfortunate, but I will certainly not blame that on Irish Day Tours. In fact, I want to give them praise for the driver's attentiveness, making sure the passengers were safe, and the company being expedient in getting a new bus out to accommodate the rest of the tour. The Cliffs of Moher are one of the most beautiful sights I have ever laid my eyes on and we were blessed with great weather on this particular day. Sunny and not too windy (our visit was at the end of February but not sure how typical this is for that time of year). I believe we were allotted 1.5-2 hours at the Cliffs which we enjoyed every minute of. The stop in Doolin for lunch was charming and I was impressed with how quickly they were able to serve us. Unfortunately, we were not able to experience Galway on our tour due to the technical difficulties but I appreciate them being mindful of the schedule. I want to give particular praise to our driver and guide Kevin, who was absolutely fantastic in not only getting us there and back safely but is full of fascinating information on Ireland's history. He was an older gentleman, so I understand the low energy but perhaps time to hang up his hat. As first timers to Ireland, I chose the Dark Hedges/Giants Causeway/Belfast tour because I was infatuated by photos of the Dark Hedges I saw online. I had no idea it looked NOTHING like it. It was really a waste of a stop. Giants Causeway was nice.. great photo op. It's a long walk downhill, then back up. Luckily, there was a bus that operates both ways for £1 (tap cards accepted ). We heard there was opihi in Belfast and found some along the way (we're from Hawaii). Super windy that day so we were getting flown all over the rocks. Only stop on the tour that was worth it. Next stop, Belfast City Centre. The tour guy dropped us off near City Hall with absolutely no direction. He told us about a mall nearby, but that's it. Anything worth seeing was already closed. I really wished he would've gave us more recommendations about what to do, where to eat, or anything worth seeing in the short amount of time we had there. After walking around City Hall, we walked to the mall to use the bathroom, stopped at a souvenir shop, then headed back. Total waste of time, again. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND! Sadiy, I purchased the tickets for this tour after the price had gone up about €10 from their 2025 prices. Tour was also supposed to end at 8pm but we got back by 7pm because he kept rushing us. Leaving early from stops. Felt rushed the whole time. I feel it was a total waste of money that could've been used elsewhere.

One driver was a bit much, and there was a point where you did think, just be quiet for one minute!! But, in the main, very informative, funny and a great way of just seeing all the places. I think if you do this first, when you get to Dublin, you can then decide what you want to go and visit and then plan from there, and also have some understanding of where is it and how to get there. It was the perfect amount of fancy and a little hillbilly feeling - a unique delightful combination! The bus is from the 60s and is totally decked out to look like a tea room. It's something peppa pig would ride on of and when she visits the Isle! The teas, coffee and juices were quite nice. We enjoyed some "Nosecco" (Non alcoholic prosecco) as part of ours and were quite happy with the purchase. There were half a dozen tea choices as well as Cadbury hot chocolate, which we all liked. Everything had a screw on lid in a cup we got to keep so there was minimal spillage and maximum memories! The selection of finger sammys, tea cakes and accouterments was quite nice. The passion fruit and mango mousse was the biggest crowd pleaser from the desserts, and the scones were as good as advertised- someone's mom taught them well....or the Irish equivalent of bisquick is solid! The tour took us around the city and while we don't remember a ton, we got an idea of some of the main spots to see, and learned that no one know why the doors around town are painted fun colors - perhaps it's just because they're fun! This was a great, unique experience and it is well worth doing by yourself, with friends or with a big group!

We are only here on vacation for four full days and had things to do every minute. When we go to get on the bus we are told we aren't on "the list" and had to wait. I produced the receipts that I am attaching to this review and was allowed admittance. Right before the tour is about to start we are told we have to get off the bus because again we aren't on the list. We argue that we bought the tickets in August and the tour company did not dispute that. But we didn't make it in to their spreadsheet somehow and they oversold the bus which became our problem. We have planned every minute of our short trip for months and they totally ruined it for no good reason other than they are shitty record keepers. *Then* they say they'll issue a refund in a few days. Wait a minute though I thought I wasn't on their list?! How can the issue a refund if I'm not in the list? I told them I'm not leaving till I'm given cash because I'm either in the list or not. They tried offering us a few other free tours but no way do I trust this company with my money or time again. We were so looking forward to a Halloween themed adventure on my short Dublin trip and they completely ruined it for us and didn't care. They kept saying "it's not our fault." Our trip started a little rough on the first day due to delayed airplane and the inability to use our phones (Cell supplier issues). Once we reached our first hotel and were able to contact Ian, everything improved greatly. Ian planned a stay at Ballyseede Castle in Tralee on our anniversary and it was so very lovely. Did the entire trip go off without a hitch? no. There were a few bumps (none of which were major)--but when we hit a bump, Ian was there to help us figure it out--Once, the solution turned into an unexpected amazing experience! There are some things I will change next time, but that's a matter of personal preference. Ian did a wonderful job creating a relationship with us in order to give us the best experience possible.
