This tour was a flop! Our tour guide talked for the first 5mins of the tour, then we were on our own. He sang a song or 2 along the way but he couldn't answer any of the questions asked and barely spoke. He dropped us at stops going in blindly. He was an older gentleman, so I understand the low energy but perhaps time to hang up his hat. As first timers to Ireland, I chose the Dark Hedges/Giants Causeway/Belfast tour because I was infatuated by photos of the Dark Hedges I saw online. I had no idea it looked NOTHING like it. It was really a waste of a stop. Giants Causeway was nice.. great photo op. It's a long walk downhill, then back up. Luckily, there was a bus that operates both ways for £1 (tap cards accepted ). We heard there was opihi in Belfast and found some along the way (we're from Hawaii). Super windy that day so we were getting flown all over the rocks. Only stop on the tour that was worth it. Next stop, Belfast City Centre. The tour guy dropped us off near City Hall with absolutely no direction. He told us about a mall nearby, but that's it. Anything worth seeing was already closed. I really wished he would've gave us more recommendations about what to do, where to eat, or anything worth seeing in the short amount of time we had there. After walking around City Hall, we walked to the mall to use the bathroom, stopped at a souvenir shop, then headed back. Total waste of time, again. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND! Sadiy, I purchased the tickets for this tour after the price had gone up about €10 from their 2025 prices. Tour was also supposed to end at 8pm but we got back by 7pm because he kept rushing us. Leaving early from stops. Felt rushed the whole time. I feel it was a total waste of money that could've been used elsewhere. read more

Very thankful for this great experience! We took an all day tour out of Dublin, with the climax being the Cliffs of Moher. On the way, we had some bus trouble, which was unfortunate, but I will certainly not blame that on Irish Day Tours. In fact, I want to give them praise for the driver's attentiveness, making sure the passengers were safe, and the company being expedient in getting a new bus out to accommodate the rest of the tour. The Cliffs of Moher are one of the most beautiful sights I have ever laid my eyes on and we were blessed with great weather on this particular day. Sunny and not too windy (our visit was at the end of February but not sure how typical this is for that time of year). I believe we were allotted 1.5-2 hours at the Cliffs which we enjoyed every minute of. The stop in Doolin for lunch was charming and I was impressed with how quickly they were able to serve us. Unfortunately, we were not able to experience Galway on our tour due to the technical difficulties but I appreciate them being mindful of the schedule. I want to give particular praise to our driver and guide Kevin, who was absolutely fantastic in not only getting us there and back safely but is full of fascinating information on Ireland's history. We took two day tours with Irish Day Tours on our visit to Ireland - one to the Cliff's of Moher/galway and the other to Giant's Causeway/Belfast. We struggled to find the right bus on day one because the bus was not labeled and there were at least 4 other tour buses loading, causing some confusion. We almost missed the bus after standing in line with the wrong tour. Day two had an earlier start and buses that were clearly labeled. The drivers of both our tours were FANTASTIC and very charismatic. The buses were comfortable and there was an eclectic and diverse group on both tours. My only recommendation is that while we have put Stops in the am, I would have appreciated stops on the return to Dublin. :) read more

My mom and I toured to the most Amazing Castles in Ireland that I've ever seen! (Even though it was my first time in Ireland and my first time seeing a real castle ) We had so much fun with our Amazing, Extraordinary, Fun, Passionate, Knowledgeable singing tour guide Adrian!!! We Love You!!! You're a Rockstar! (And he's apparently an actor in Braveheart as well! - Which according to my mom, we'll be watching to confirm ) And he's a lucky charm!! (It was forecasted 78% chance of rain and expected to be sooo busy but it was quite the opposite! Our tour took us to The Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle and Blarney Castle (where I got to kiss the Blarney Stone)! We took the Cliffs of Moher tour from Dublin. It was an early start and a long day but very worth it! We brought our 6 month old baby (they offered child seats for an additional 15 euro) and it made for a very special family trip. I can't remember the guides name unfortunately but we took the tour on 20/8. He was SO knowledgeable and had so many fun facts along with history to share along the trip. He drove safely and communicated the trips expectations/time to return to the bus very well. We loved the stops along the way, we didn't feel too rushed. It was nice that they had a pre-planned arrangement for lunch so that we didn't have to rush and panic in finding our own place (I've had this happen on other tours). They didn't have a bathroom on board but made sure to stop every 1-1.5 hours for snacks and breaks. read more

This was a great tour and Barry was a fantastic guide! The one thing I want to be clear about is the fact that these tours are made for two types of people/groups: (1) you love to do tours and be held to a tours time table as opposed to a dyi trip. (2) you are short on time I only wish we would have simply rented a car, drove to the cliffs, stayed the night in the little town neighboring the cliffs, and have control of our time. That is not the fault of the Tour company, that's just how we like to do things - we are DYI people, but we were short on time and tight on schedule. We did three tours with the company: Giant's Causeway, Celtic Boyne Valley, and Cliffs of Moher. Giant's Causeway and Cliffs of Moher were incredible destinations on their own. The drivers were efficient and timely, but they were lacking in personality. The tour could have been prerecorded because there was no real benefit to taking this tour other than having a good driver. Would not recommend those specific tours with this company because it is not truly guided but if you are looking for just a driver, they were both excellent. However, we were on a tour with Flann for the Celtic Boyne Valley and it was the absolute highlight of our trip. Flann is professional and energetic. I would give him a 10 on information and storytelling. His love for the sites was evident and he threw in so much incredible information. My family would love to take another tour with him. read more

TRAVLERS beware of this tour company, ESPECIALLY those who do not speak english well. Per the tour guide they prey on tourist who don't speak English well! Please be aware When I booked for Giants causeway tour on the website it said it end at 8pm but the tour guide from the beginning said it was to end at 7:30 and that's when we will be dropped off. When I asked the tour guide about why the tour was ending earlier than advertised on the website he said "What the website says doesn't matter, it does not happen according to the plan" . Dropped us off back in Dublin around 7:15. all consideration. We have about 30 minutes to an hour at some locations so to lose 45 minutes is not ideal and not worth the money you'll see from booking this company because its cheaper. Also it was advertised that the bus would have power surges to charge the phone but it did not and please keep in mind because its cheaper than other tours they do not buy your ticket in the Giants causway they drop you off on a steep road and tell you to steer left. Also Video of when i tried ot ask the tour guide ot call management because I no longer wanted to stay on the tour, he said no. Making threats. He was very emotionally unstable and refused ot answer basic question after such as when we meeting back at the bus, what city we were in and repeat told me that the tour company "They will not help you". Don't think a second about not booking with Extreme Iceland. You'll enjoy your tour! My boyfriend and I took the Giant's Causeway tour and loved it! We traveled mid-February. We were very lucky that our group was small (about 15 people) but even if it wasn't, I think it would've been a great tour still. The driver's ability to drive and be a tour guide was impressive and he had a great personality too. We laughed more than we ever thought we would, and we learned so many interesting facts, especially about the politics between Northern and Southern Ireland. Our stops included: quick breakfast at a Centura, The Dark Hedges, Carrick-a-Rede (rope bridge), quick lunch, Giant's Causeway, castle for photo op and Belfast. Our first stop was the Centura at a gas station just outside of Ireland for a quick 20min breakfast. It was a bit better than your typical gas station stopovers but not one that I'd refer to as a breakfast. I recommend you to bring your own food and eat it there at the tables in inside. Or eat before the tour. This stopover is in Britain as it's located in Northern Ireland so they take sterling pounds, not euros. Something we didn't realize. Thankfully we had both currencies with us as London was out next stop after Dublin. The Dark Hedges was pretty neat to see and walk down. Since we came in the winter, there weren't any leaves so it wasn't dark at all but still a beautiful sight. Our tour group as very respectful of other people's photos, careful not to get in the way and taking shots quickly to give others an opportunity. The Carrick-a-Rede was our first big stop with hiking. Since its located at the tip of Northern Ireland, along the Atlantic Ocean, it was very windy. The day that we went, the rope bridge was closed due to high winds and to be honest, we were glad that was the case because just walking towards to the bridge was a mission. The wind lifted me of my feet a couple of times! For the most part, the walk is doable. However there are points where it is steep going down and up and with the the strong winds, it's a bit scary. I am 5 months postop acl surgery and I wore my knee brace as it was a bit slippery going down steep/rocky hills. We stopped for lunch after at a local cafeteria style restaurant in a town nearby. Food ranges from £5-£12. The food that is served is home-style Irish food. Large portions and freshly made with local ingredients. I ordered a potato soup as it was the cheapest option but still filling enough to keep me energized for the rest of the tour. Around the corner was the Giants Causeway. It was awesome! You have two options to see it: walking it above or below, or taking a shuttle that cost £1 each way. We decided to w9alk it from the top down to the bottom. I would recommend this but it is tiring. The view makes it well worth it though. At 5 months postop, the brace came in really handy here. The walkway was slippery at times, the steps down to the volcanic rocks was very steep and overall it was very tiring for my knees. You are only given about 1.5 hrs here which I personally feel is a bit tight. If you do the hike, don't take too much time taking pictures at the top, otherwise you won't give yourself enough time for pictures down by the bottom. After the Causeway, we made a quick stopover at the castle for a photo op. Lastly, we got visited Belfast and got to walk around for about 2 hours. Highly recommend touring the Giants Causeway with Extreme Ireland. I'd also recommend wearing comfortable boots. Running shoes are doable but if it is rainy or the slightest dampness, it will be slippery with running shoes. read more

I had a reservation on March 16th the day after the city of Dublin shut down and EVERYTHING was closed. We had to leave early because of Covid( the city shut down so nothing to do or eat besides our hotel restaurant). We tried getting in contact with Irish Day Tours to see if our tour was still continuing because we figured maybe we could do that before we slip out of the country but no one was answering calls, emails, Facebook messages and even comments. We tried to cancel but couldn't because we and our hotel could not reach them. I was emailing the company in the beginning of April when we were back and settled to get this straightened out but they wouldn't issue a refund because apparently the tour still continued even though the city shut down and there was no notice sent to us that it would continue the next day. We left Ireland that morning and the city of Dublin shut down less than 24 hours from our scheduled tour time so Flaure said no refund would be authorized which is ridiculous given the circumstances of the city and world at that time. It's very upsetting because I've been trying to get in contact with someone from the company named Jonathan who Flaure said would maybe be able to hear us out and help but he has never replied to my email. (6 months later) Highly do not recommend. Terrible customer service and just a money hungry company that at the end of the day apparently only cares about money and not their customers. read more

I went with my friend a few weeks ago to Dublin, Ireland on the vacation of a lifetime. I wanted to share my experience using Irish Day Tours - we went on the Blarney Castle tour and had the absolute best time. The bus itself is very spacious, and we had a fairly full bus of people from all over the world. We made several stops to see a few different castles (they did a great job spacing it out because you can only handle so many hours on a bus, especially if you have motion sickness like I do). Our tour guide (I wish I could remember his name!) was so great - he was funny, informative, and a great sport all around. Price wise - absolutely worth it. In fact, I didn't think it was overly expensive by any means for the type of tour that we got. I would recommend to anyone visiting Ireland. read more

We found out about Extreme Ireland from the Dublin Visitor Centre. We chose this tour from the others because the meeting point for each tour was on Suffolk street by the Molly Malone statue which was close to our hotel. Also, the meeting point is close to the 24 hour McDonalds on Grafton street so we were able to eat breakfast and use the restroom before we started the tour. We booked the Cliffs of Moher and the Giants Causeway tour. Since we booked two tours, we got a discount of 5 euros off per person. We love deals so we were all over that. To get the discount though we were not able to book the tour with the Dublin Visitor Center. Instead we had to book at the Extreme Ireland office located on the corner of Grafton street and College Green. The Cliffs of Moher tour started early. We had to meet at our meeting point by 650am and were advised to arrive 10 minutes early. This tour was so popular that they had to book two large tour buses to accommodate everyone. Every single seat on our bus was taken, including the front seat next to the driver. We were packed to the max but Mike, our driver, was super cool. He was very funny and made our very early morning less painful. He woke us up with his stories and sang songs to us to help pass the time away. But he also knew when quiet time was needed for us to take naps. Our first rest stop on this tour was Obama Plaza. It was a nice place to purchase some refreshments and use the restroom. We visited the Dark Hedges from Game of Thrones, had lunch at a hotel in Doolin and visited the Burren and Galway city. A great tour and well worth it. The Giant's Causeway tour also started early, earlier than the Cliffs of Moher tour. This tour started at 6:30am and again we were advised to arrive 10 minutes early. This tour wasn't as popular so there was some room on our bus to stretch out on. Nevertheless, this tour was just as great, if not better than Cliffs of Moher. I actually preferred this tour more because we visited Giant's Causeway which was super cool and the Carrick-A-Rede. Unfortunately the weather was too windy for us to actually walk across the Carrick-A-Rede but we got to take pictures next to it. Also, we got another discount of 5 euros off per person because the Carrick-A-Rede was closed on this day. We also went to Belfast and it was our first time in Northern Ireland. The black taxi tour was very informative. Sometimes it was difficult to understand our black taxi tour guide but he was very nice. John was our driver during the entire day and he was very nice and professional. He was soft spoken and knew when to stop talking to give us some time to nap. He also had awesome Irish music for our long journey. We are very happy we did both these tours with Extreme Ireland. My husband and I booked the Wicklow & Glendalough Tour for 6 June. The departure time was supposed to be 8:30 am, but by 9 am, no one from Irish Day Tours had showed. I called their office, but no one answered the phone. Their office was a short walk from the meeting point, so my husband and I walked there to find out if the tour was still on. It turns out the guide had tested positive for Covid that morning, so there was no guide. They were still deciding whether or not to try and find a new guide or cancel the trip. One of their office workers, Susie, volunteered to act as the guide, even though she had never given the tour. They were trying to contact their boss for instructions, so we went back to the pick up point and told the others waiting for the tour what was going on. We heard nothing after waiting another 30 minutes, so started walking back to the office to ask for a refund when one of their employees met us and said Susie would give the tour. Meanwhile, the bus driver (Daniel) got tired of waiting and left with the bus. So we had to wait until just after 10 am until they were able to get the bus to come back and start the tour. The tour itself was okay. Unfortunately, Susie really didn't know much about the places we we were visiting and the driver took a few wrong turns. The first stop was the working sheep farm where we got an amazing sheepdog demonstration; highlight of the trip. The farmer, Michael, was surprised to see us, as we were so late. Next stop was Hollywood, where we were supposed to get a walk through the valley with the guide. Instead, we got dropped off at the cafe for a short coffee break. Then we were supposed to stop in Laragh Village, but we skipped that, then stopped for about 10 minutes at a scenic point in the Wicklow Mountains. The last stop was at Glendalough, where we got 2 hours to explore the ruins and walk the trails. We arrived back in Dublin before 6 pm, after leaving for the tour almost 1 1/2 hours late, so we definitely didn't get the full tour time. To top it off, I left a bag with a shirt I had purchased for my grandson in the overhead bin of the bus, which I discovered about 5 minutes after we got off. We ran back to the bus, but it had already left. We immediately went to the tour office to report this and spoke to Martin, but were told the driver would not be back in Dublin until June 8. They said they would try and contact Daniel the driver and I could check back on the 8th. I got a call this morning (8 June), that they could not locate my bag. I don't believe anyone on our tour took it and it didn't disappear, so I at least hope a bus or Irish Day Tours employee is enjoying my grandson's shirt. Due to the disorganization of this trip, the employee's complete failure to inform the passengers as to the trip delay, and their indifference to helping me get back the item I left on the bus, I do not recommend Irish Day Tours. Check out their reviews on other sites; there are other complaints about their poor communication about tour delays and cancellations and people never getting back items left on the bus. Many other companies offer this tour; I suggest you choose one of them. read more

We used Extreme Ireland for the Cork city/Barney stone, and the Belfast day tours from Dublin. Cork City/Blarney Stone- Our tour guide was Joey M. and he really did a great job in keeping the whole bus in stitches (laughing). Joey was very knowledgeable and explained much of the Irish lore and history, for this was an entire day tour. Joey must have kissed the stone, for it was a lot of fun and you'll enjoy his humor and singing also! I learned the "Molly Malone" ballad when singing along with Joey. Belfast day tour- Our tour guide was "Rocky" and he also spent time in explaining the history and context of the conflict in Belfast, that was very balanced. Rocky was very cool (patient), displayed a great sense of humor, and accommodating as passengers (New Jersey, you know who you are!) were sometimes late getting back to the van during stops. I also enjoyed his humor and appreciate his knowledge of the subject matter as this also was a whole day long tour. I would not hesitate in going thru Extreme Ireland tour service again, and appreciate being able to say something nice about both of our tour guides! read more

Do you want to book a tour only to have it canceled at the last minute? Do you want to have great difficulty getting your money refunded? Do you like to have your vacation plans ruined? Then Extreme Ireland Tours is the Tour Company for you!! They even have horrible customer service as a bonus! I found this place on the Internet and they had a day trip from Dublin to Belfast, which was exactly what I was looking for. I booked the trip Jan 29 for the trip on Monday Feb. 22. Well I also booked two other day trips on Saturday and Sunday with two different other tour companies(one OK and one very good). While on the Sunday tour at 5 pm I receive an email that my tour has been canceled. This late in the day and on a Sunday and already on a tour it was impossible to find another tour company. I found this very unprofessional, I was glad for the notice, but more notice is needed. People are looking forward to the things they plan on a vacation. That's why they plan a vacation. Since I couldn't go the following Tuesday, I asked for a refund. They responded that I would receive a refund in 5 to 9 business days. Well fifteen business days passed and no refund. I had asked for updates and the response "it's processing", after 18 days I emailed them if I didn't receive a refund I would have the credit card charges reversed. I was again told they would find out and refund my money. After another five days I received my refund which was not even for the exact same amount I paid. I wouldn't recommend this tour company and would use Paddywagon Tours instead. read more

We did the cliffs of moher 12 hour bus trip with Gerald. We had a fantastic time! It was even better than I expected. We were in a small your bus and were able to stop in many small villages along the coast and really grasp the Irish culture and the picturesque landscape. Gerald was punctual and extremely knowledgable on the sites, history or Ireland and culture/language. I wasn't a huge fan of his selection of "tunes" but he didn't drone on with boring facts and kept his talking points concise and interesting. read more

We booked this tour through Viator. The whole trip was amazing and having sunny weather to properly see the cliffs was an added bonus. Our scheduled tour had an overflow, so we did not sit in the coach bus. We were directed to a smaller shuttle bus that probably sits about 20-30 people. It was comfortable with the long driving. It is an early meet up, but there are scheduled stops to grab some Breakfast. Jim was our tour guide. Lots of knowledge and so many stories to share. We had an incident of a possible overheating of the bus towards the end of our trip, but Jim was very Calm and collected and handled the situation with no signs of distress. Such a nice guy and answered all the questions we had about Ireland! The tour destinations were really nice. It was great to see what was outside of Dublin and all simple beauty of mother nature with the cliffs and the burren. Amazing views! Definitely bring some good walking shoes, clothing to keep you warm during the the winter months and a great camera! Please be mindful of the meeting times for departure. I've read lots of reviews where people have been left behind and it happened on our trip. Jim was extra nice and waited 25 minutes. After seeing the area, this isn't a place where you want to be stranded so be mindful Of the time, or it can be an expensive ride to try and meet at the next destination. We used this company for our day trip toGiant's Causeway from Dublin. I'm surprised at the negative reviews. As a whole, it was a great trip, and our guide (Jennifer) was amazing. Pros: our guide had a lovely voice that didn't grate on you over time. She was informative, entertaining, and helpful above and beyond the call of duty. The views were breathtaking, and we stopped at many places that I had no idea were on the itinerary - we ended up seeing not only Giant's Causeway (which was fantastic), but Sheep Island, the beautiful coast of Larne, Glenarm, Belfast, Dunluce, and so many amazing views of Northern Ireland. It was gorgeous! Cons: some free bus wifi would have been lovely. Also, stopping at a gas station does not constitute "breakfast." Between time constraints and limited options, I didn't eat a proper meal until Belfast (about 5 pm). read more

Great tours, well run. Went on two day trips from Dublin: Cliffs of Moher and Giant's Causeway. Leo took us to Cliffs of Moher. What I loved about him: he was so attentive to guests with small children and solo travellers. He made a point of approaching them, talking with them, asking the kids questions. We had a minor accident (big bus very small intersection) and Leo handled it like a complete pro! Once we go the bus going again, he made us forget it ever happened. Great day! Also - Leo was great at sharing just the right amount of interesting history, I was able to connect everything with information I heard the next day at the Dublin castle tour. Gabriel took us to Giant's Causeway. I wish the tour included the bus ride down to the causeway but, we had enough time to explore and make the trek down. For folks that have trouble walking, I recommend keeping some cash handy to take the bus down. Also learned a lot of cool facts about Irish history. Belfast was an awkward stop, it would have been nice to have someone provide a walking tour. We had an hour and I didn't plan anything since I thought they would tell us what to go see - just ended up going to a great cafe Gabriel recommended. Took two successive day tours with this company. The first to giants causeway and second to Connemara. Both were excellent and even though nnumbers of guests were small (8 and6) they devoted their full Attention though they probably lost money. Jim and David were great and knowledgeable drivers who made it a memorable experience. Only negative is very long days but necessary to cover the distances. read more

My friend and I decided to do the Cliffs of Moher tour last weekend and it was phenomenal! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared great stories for every part of Ireland we drove through. This tour meets in a central location in Dublin (Dame St + Suffolk) and departs at 7am. The bus is a large coach and is generally comfortable for those under 6'. Taller people will find the space between seats a bit uncomfortable. However, our tour guide, Jennifer, and the bus driver (I think his name was Herman) did an excellent job! Jennifer shared alot of interesting information along the way and she played different music by Irish artists as we went. The day starts out with a stop at a gas station about an hour and half after departure. You can get breakfast and coffee and use the restroom. This isn't a fancy place though. Next you go through beautiful countryside and drive along the coast of Northern Ireland. Jennifer mentioned alot of scenary and places have been depicted in the Game of Thrones. We went through the Glen-cities (Glenarm, Glenariff, etc). These towns are so cute and scenic! I wished we could've stopped there but our first real stop was the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge. The hike from the parking lot to the bridge is about a 20 min walk. It was very windy the day we were there and the bridge was closed. The winds were 45mph, so we couldn't cross to the island. But the views are here are absolutely gorgeous! We were there for about an hour. From there it was only about a 20 minute drive to the Giant's Causeway. We spent 2 hours total there and you eat lunch at this location. It also takes about 20 min to walk from the bus to the basalt stone formations of the causeway, but there is a bus here for those that don't want to walk. The bus is 1 pound sterling. There is a guided tour option here also and I believe it is 9 pounds. After the causeway the path back to Belfast passed by Dunluce castle (also on the Game of Thrones). There is an hour stop in Belfast where you don't have much time to do anything, and by the time you are there (after 4:30pm) most things are closed or closing. I could've skipped this part of the tour personally, but others enjoyed a stop at a pub. We got back into Dublin around 8pm. It was a great day! read more

My friend and I were sitting at home bored and decided to hop over to Ireland for a 2 day jaunt. We had originally planned on renting a car to see the sights but after realizing neither of us knew how to drive a stick we decided to switch to plan b: Bus Tour. BEST. DECISION. EVER. After looking online we came across Irish Day Tours AKA Extreme Ireland. With over six daily tours to choose from, GREAT REVIEWS and even BETTER prices we decided on the Cork & Blarney tour. The tour started at 7am but we were asked to arrive at least 10 mins early. My friend and I arrived at the designated pick up place close to 40 mins early, which ended up working in our favor because finding the correct tour route and guide was a bit of a challenge. Everyone met in the same place, so it was a huge crowd. The guides pulled up in vans one by one ranging in times from 6:30-7:00. The vans were scattered around the streets near the pick up time and the guides were walking up to our large group and shouting out their specific route. ***there were no signs i.e. CORK & BLARNEY etc (which caused confusion) *** that being said, arrive early and listen closely!!! Once on the bus we officially met our guide. His name was Barry -- "Silkenbeard" (he wished) -- Barry was AMAZING! Extremely funny, knowledgeable, passionate and eloquent; Barry definitely made the tour informational yet entertaining. He was NEVER over bearing or annoying - my friend and I quite enjoyed ourselves and the frequent laughs. THANK YOU BARRY! CORK shines BRIGHT through you!!!! The tour itself was FANTASTIC!! I wish we were staying longer so I could go on a few of the others. Rock of Cashel was probably my favorite stop. The view was picturesque and breathtaking. We booked two tours with Extreme Ireland and our driver, Wayne, was extremely AWESOME! Wayne was engaging and personable and made our tours fun. He educated us on Ireland's history, and kept us smiling and on time. The coaches were comfortable and even the coffee/bathroom/lunch breaks were good spots. The meeting/boarding spot is off Suffolk Street, near O'Neills. If you book more than one tour, you'll get a discount. They are enjoyable tours but make for long days, so I was glad we didn't schedule our tours back-to-back. If you only have time for one tour, then I'd encourage you to see the Cliffs of Moher! We thoroughly enjoyed touring with Wayne and would do it again! Absolutely recommend Extreme Ireland...two thumbs up!!! read more

I canceled my tours on March 12, 2020, a week before they were scheduled to take place. Their refund policy says that they will refund my money within 24 hours. The company now (April 2) is refusing to refund my money because they said they changed their refund policy on March 27th due to COVID-19. This is highly unethical. A company cannot change their refund policy AFTER a customer has requested a refund. Do not book any tours with these thieves! read more

Hands down, 5 Stars. I have been to Dublin several times and I use this tour company to go visit other places in Ireland. I have done the regular Cliffs of Moher, Premium Cliffs of Moher (has the boat cruise), Giant's Causeway, Celtic Boyne Valley, and Glendalough/Kilkenny tours with this company. Their office is easy to find and the staff is always nice and will answer any questions you have. You get a discount if you book more than one tour as well. The tours always leave on time, so be sure to get there a few minutes before. I have had different tour guides on all of the tours and they are all very knowledgeable​. I love getting to see Ireland without having to worry about renting a car. These tours are a great way to do that. There are great sightseeing stops along the way as well as delicious​ places to grab​ a bite to eat for lunch. I really appreciate the hidden gems that I would miss if I were driving myself and learning about the history of Ireland while getting to see these beautiful places. Giant's Causeway and the Premium​ Cliffs of Moher are my favorite tours. The boat ride is very rocky and the water is cold and you will get wet. Some people did not like that but I loved it! All of these tours I have been on, I would do again. I have recommended this company to several coworkers and friends and they enjoyed the tours as well. Yessah, I took a tour. I was only in Dublin for a weekend, so I decided to spend a day being blissfully shuttled around Ireland. For $70, I took a tour to Belfast and Giant's Causeway. All in all it was a pretty good deal. Our bus wasn't packed so I had a row to myself, which is always nice. Our bus driver, I think his name was Connor? He was really friendly, sharp with an amazing sense of humor (although I found that most Irish shared this sense of humor, which was rad). The trip was long. We met around 6:30am and came back to Dublin around 8pm or so? The only beef I had with this trip was the location meetup. They weren't really clear about where we had to meet, but I found them at the last minute. All in all, I'd book a tour with this company again if I ever go back to Ireland. read more

I took the Blarney Castle and Cork day trip from Extreme Ireland on a Tuesday and May and was absolutely pleased with it. We traveled in a smaller van instead of a large coach, which kept the group smaller and allowed us more freedom as far as roadways, etc. Blarney Castle is absolutely lovely, don't let people tell you its a tourist trap. Cork wasn't that special for me but we had a delicious lunch there in the English Markets and did a bit of shopping. I felt a bit rushed at the Rock of Cashel (30 mins) but there isn't really that much to see I just really like to look at old buildings. The highlight of the tour was our guide, Tom. He was well informed and good humored, and possessed the rare skill of knowing when to be talkative and when to be quiet. I was most impressed, however, with him after the tour. My friend and I had booked a dinner/show during our trip that was canceled, and though they offered to reschedule we thought we weren't able to. However, we thought the tour was longer than it was and we did get back early enough, so I asked for walking directions to the event location and a place nearby that had wifi so I could call the proprietor via Skype on my phone. Not only did Tom allow me to use his phone to call but he drove us there in the van. Such a considerate gesture is an example not only of how awesome Tom is but how Extreme Ireland is committed to great customer service. We also took a tour with Paddywagon. It was also nice, but this was our favourite. If I ever return to Ireland this will definitely be my tour company of choice and that which I recommend to my friends and family. read more

Traveling by bus to the Cliffs of Mohar was very comfortable and the views out the large windows never got old. The cliffs were spectacular. It was a great day with wonderful sights. But, a big part of what made the day so interesting and enjoyable was our driver, Joey Mulligan, was absolutely wonderful. He was good-natured, and obviously very experienced at keeping a large crowd headed in the right direction. Our group was 46 people. His singing, stories, jokes, and history lessons were delightful.
