Pete at Big Country Portable Buildings was very kind, honest and helpful. He walked us through the entire process. He did not push to upgrade to a shed that is out of our budget. Instead he listened to our needs and provided the best option for us. We got our shed delivered a week sooner than expected. The lady called us and was also kind and helpful in scheduling the delivery. Then the gentleman that dropped off the shed was quick and efficient. He went over information and safely placed our shed where we had requested. Doing business with Derksen and Big Country Portable Buildings was one of the most smoothest process I have had and seen in a very long time! We hired this business to build our carport on April 15. Carport was not built until May 30. Took…read moreall of 5 hrs to build. Was told construction would be on 2wks of April 15. Unfortunately before we were aware of a problem with this company on May 1 we contracted Tobias (owner) to build a fence for our garden home which means a very small area fence. It is June 20 and our fence is not built. On May 13 they ripped out the old fence so for over a month we have had ours and our neighbors backyard wide open (neighbor side fence was also our fence) Neighbor now pissed at us and Scorpion not answering calls. 8 wks to put up a very small fence and still nothing. We have been left hanging. Had to give 50% of job cost for deposit. You've been warned. Not a good situation to find yourself in. Bad business practices.

They specialized on estate sales/liquidations, which may be slightly above garage sales price tags but also oftentimes come with a piece of history. I have bought my share of books, some clothes and PLENTY drawing/painting supplies (at a liquidation sale of a arts store). The flyer you receive at home is detailed (which allows you to avoid spending time and gas surfing through a mountain of unwanted items). The people who run the show are bubbly, colorful and gifted with an overwhelming southern hospitality that warms your heart even on a cold winter day. I love love love FAB FINDS.
