I live in Colorado but I'm from Abilene and my family is still there. My mom was having surgery at Hendricks and i was not familiar with florists in town so I just searched near the hospital. I chose High's because of the very strong reviews here on Yelp. I was not disappointed. Speaking with Sharon on the phone was a pleasure. She was so sweet and accommodating. I left it to her for the arrangement, only requesting that it be "bright and sunny". They delivered it to the hospital and did just what I wanted. Brightened up my mom's stay at the hospital when I couldn't be there with her. Thank you Sharon, and High's flowers. I will view this as a learning experience for us both. I purchased an arrangement over the phone and chose from an example off the website. I just one that was very full of flowers with beautiful greenery but heavier on the floral side. The arrangement they sent was lovely just a bit of a disappointment because it was full of greenery and lighter on the floral side. Living several states away from friends & family makes flower sending an easy choice; however, I usually hedge because they have become so expensive and you are never quite certain you are getting the value. No worries with High's! They are SO accommodating - they ordered in special flowers for my request, no problem. I mailed personal greeting cards for High's to hold until delivery day. It was complicated. They were extra cheerful and helpful and their prices, with delivery, were better than any on-line flower retailer. The recipients raved about the 'wonderful' flowers.
