And I must say she hit this one out of the park in selecting this business! From the time contract was negotiated and signed to the time of the final cleanup of the venue at the end of the gathering, Pearson's management and employees brought their "A" game. Kudos to Rico, Event and Operations Manager in providing options and estimates for the event and Stephen, Ayden and Morgan who manned and set-up the site for the occasion. I personally tried all the food served that day and I can say everything was delicious. From the bread and salad service, to the noodle, salmon and chicken entrees, to the vegetable offering, and finally to the dessert station, Chef Kimberly Pearson and Chef Calvin certainly outdid themselves. Likewise, I only heard great things from friends and family regarding the food and service which was provided. I hired Premier Event Services for their bar & staffing services for a recent large event and their…read moreteam did an excellent job. They were a preferred vendor at my venue and my colleague highly recommended their services. Courtney was very prompt and professional in their communications leading up to the event and a joy to work with. Their staff showed up on time and began setting up the bar area along with the batched cocktails and mocktails they would be serving at the event. We had a lavender fields vodka cocktail and tornado twist mocktail. Their bar services include napkins, straws, bar set up, coolers, wine openers and insurance, as well as 2 bartenders for up to 5 hours. I also hired 10 of their catering staff members to assist with bussing cocktail tables throughout the event, emptying trash cans, a helping to keep our event tidy. We appreciated the attention to detail and anytime I had a request for an area that needed servicing, they took care of it right away. Their team was a huge help in assisting us with rounding up the trash and cleaning up the space after the event ended. I would definitely hire Premier Event Services for more events in the future!

The servers weee very attentive and friendly and kept everyone's drinks filled throughout the event which was a very nice touch. For our meal I opted for the vegetarian options and got the Caesar salad (good ratio of dressing to salad), the pasta primavera (had bell peppers, mushrooms, and other assorted veggies), and the chocolate muffin which was dairy and gluten free. I thought that everything had a nice flavor to it, and I was impressed that even the dessert was moist and delicious! My only note was that I wish my pasta would've been warmer. Overall we really loved what we wee served and we look forward to working with them on future events!

The tasting was seamless, the food stood out, and the overall operation appeared organized and professional. Based on that, we felt confident booking with them. As part of their process, we were assigned a care team assistant, Joanie, to manage logistics leading up to the event. Unfortunately, this part of the experience fell short. Key milestones, such as the three-month check-in, were missed and required us to initiate follow-up. Communication was often delayed, with responses taking several business days, and at times occurred at unusual hours, which made coordination more difficult. There were also instances of confusion around previously discussed details with Joanie. In one case, instead of contacting us directly for clarification about tables (after being provided a floor plan and having a meeting), she reached out to the venue with incorrect information. This created unnecessary stress close to the wedding date and required additional time to resolve. She also told us she would make note for them to bring cake cutting knives, but on the day of, they did not, which impacted planned photo moments. (If we had known not to trust her we would have taken the extra expense to buy our own.) Most importantly, we were explicit in the detail that we (the bride and groom) would eat last, to account for taking photos with each table of guests as they were released to get food from the buffet. At the event, the staff brought food to our sweetheart table first, resulting in food being in the background, on our table in every single photo. This is completely unacceptable given the multiple times we discussed this detail. That being said, the overall execution on the day of the event (outside of bringing food to the sweetheart table) was outstanding. Our catering captain, Skylar, and the entire onsite team were exceptional with guests. They were professional, extremely attentive, and highly organized. The service staff and chefs delivered an incredible experience, and the food exceeded expectations. It was a highlight of the reception, and we continue to receive compliments from guests. We were surprised there was no post-event follow-up from the company, as we would have gladly shared positive feedback about the onsite team. We hope we do them justice in these posted reviews (specifically Skylar, whom we hope will replace Joanie's role for future clients - she is talented in her organizational role). Overall, we would recommend this company for the quality of their food and event-day execution. However, based on our experience, we strongly suggest confirming who will be assigned as your care team assistant (request anyone but Joanie) and ensuring clear, timely communication throughout the planning process.

We cannot recommend this caterer enough and should we have another event we need catered they will be the first business we reach out to. We came across Magic Occasions because they were listed as a preferred vendor at our wedding venue…read more We worked with Angie at MO to go through the menu, the different package options and do a menu sampling. Their pricing was less expensive than other vendors we spoke to and their offerings were huge. I think it was 13 or 14 pages of options to choose from! We ended up with 6 appetizers for cocktail hour (3 hot, 3 cold), 2 proteins, 3 sides, salad and rolls. They also provided table linens, glassware, napkins and silverware plus coffee, tea and lemonade. Some of this is not included with other catering packages and is an extra fee but MO included it in our package price! When our big day arrived everything was wonderful! I only tried one of the appetizers but I heard the bacon wrapped dates and crab dip were great! We also got several compliments about how good dinner was! MO provided 2 bartenders for us as well that served the alcohol we provided. Aside from the comments about the food, we also had many people come up to us and say how friendly everyone was. Overall, Magic Occasions was not only within our budget, but provided delicious food and friendly staff! I'm so happy we made the decision to use them for our big day!
