Martin and Kathrin were amazing hosts. This house was just perfect for our family vacation. It is in immaculate condition, and everything you can possibly need is provided for you (even Bear Spray for all your hikes!). The house is beautiful. It backs up to the Shoshone National Forest (2.3 million acres of unspoiled wilderness) and faces the beautiful Absarsoka mountain range. We were greeted by elk and deer grazing in our backyard several times during our stay! Kathrin was able to rent us some ATVs for a day into the forest... provided us a map and gave us a short lesson on how to operate them, as well as 5 helmets. It was the highlight of our trip! We spent 6 hours in the forest.... packed a lunch and ate in the middle of an unspoiled mountain meadow. Honestly, it was the perfect day. As a frequent traveler to Wyoming, Dubois provided us a welcome respite from the crowds and busyness of Jackson Hole. The town is quaint and close by, and has several delicious dining options. The Togwatee pass (on the way to the parks!) provided us with some amazing wildlife shows (including a Grizzly bear meandering across the road) and the wind river range made for some unforgettable hikes. Grand Teton is less than an hour from your door with this rental! Really, the perfect setting for a peaceful Wyoming getaway. read more

When I first saw the pictures of the ranch I immediately rushed to book the cabin, although had even to change the initial plan for the trip to match free dates. After reading the reviews my decision only solidified. We were ready for amazing experience in amazing place. But the reality turned even better! The place is so special, so peaceful and authentic. Mountains, forests, lakes and rivers make a perfect environment for a real getaway. The cabin was fantastic too: very clean and cozy. Every small detail revealed authentic care of hosts. The view from the cabin and the smell of wood inside created a very special atmosphere for us. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our stay in the Grizzly Cabin was really fantastic and we dream of returning there again one day. Without an exaggeration, one of the best vacation we've had so far. We'll cherish great memories and make everything possible to return there again some day. read more

When we arrived at Moose Calf, we found 5 star accommodations. Very Clean, Great layout, Great modern amenities including complete kitchen, Washing Machine, Washer and Dryer - EVERYTHING we needed for our stay! The bedrooms were great, comfortable and warm. The owners were the best - very helpful, friendly and courteous. The mountain views and activities on the property are awesome - ATV's Hiking, Fly Fishing, Wild Game watching - without leaving the property!!!! Check-Out the TeePee on the property - available for rent. Several great places to eat in Dubois (Breakfast Lunch and Dinner)! Dubois is on the Elk Migration path which is awesome to see! This Place is on our list for a "Do Over." Big Diamond Ranch is great place with great hosts in a great city! :-) read more

This place is simply wonderful. My father and I spent a week at Big Diamond Ranch as our base camp for hiking and fishing in the Absarokas, Wind River Range and national parks. The proprietors are extremely kind and gracious hosts who provide fantastic lodging, ample amenities and a wealth of knowledge of the area. Our cabin was roomy, clean, modern and well stocked. There was bear spray, firewood, spices for cooking and free, fast wifi. We took advantage of the on-site ATV rental to explore the back country and had an amazing time. Should I ever return to this beautiful area of the U.S., Big Diamond Ranch will be my first choice for home away from home. read more

Excellent accommodations. Perfect location. Quiet. Peaceful. Awesome owners. The views were breathtaking. We loved it! The house is just spectacular. It had everything we could have asked for and more! We loved just staying at the ranch to fish, hike, or atv, but we took trips into Yellowstone and Jackson as well. It was the perfect vacation! I would definitely recommend this cabin. Comfortable bed. Nice kitchen. My favorite part is the moose living on the property. She is so cute. We usually went a bit down the road for less money but there is one cabin after the other type of feeling. On this place however, the cabins are spread out far, and it all has a more personal feel. read more

We found this place by a stroke of luck. We wanted something more unique than a hotel, and a place with more privacy. We will definitely book another week next year. The views are better than where we used to stay, and everything is cleaner too. Thumbs up. read more
