Although the cabins are designed with comfort in mind, we were able to enjoy the large deck each evening. Not having great WiFi service was not an issue - our teenage grandchildren found plenty of entertainment, most importantly learning how to play pool! In order to keep our group engaged, we held a pictorial scavenger hunt, 60-piece Lego contest for the grands and an all-inclusive art project where each grandchild drew something from the park on one canvas. Diana was gracious enough to allow us access to the dining hall so we could all be together during these activities and 'awards' ceremony! Finally, we all agreed that this holiday was at the top of our list of all our family gatherings. Should we find ourselves anywhere near this area in the future, there is no question we would once again stay at the Creekside Lodge!!!

We do recommend a car to explore hikes or sights around the area and venture into Yellowstone. And yes, the weather can be somewhat unpredictable - we got rained, hailed and snowed on in July... - and mosquitoes are plentiful. Lots of history and our caretaker onsite took care of our needs. Loved the animals on the property! The family had fires every night and a big fire pit outside in a tepee. We comfortably slept 20 and bedding was very comfortable. Master bedroom is spectacular with incredible view of the Grand Tetons. If you have a special vacation you'll love this home!
