Not sure what happened to this place, used to be great. They have a helpful staff and excellent vacuums, but something has changed just trying to get your car washed. Had a pretty good experience before, (better that Tommy's!), but now the pay kiosk is broken, they are down to a single lane and there's no longer priority for club members. It's a mess, and during love bug season! I hope they get their stuff together soon, pretty sure they are hemorrhaging customers. I won't be a club member next month. read more

We needed to get the salt and dirt off our car after our long trek from the frozen north. We found this place not far from where we were staying in the Sarasota area so we swung in for a wash. The price was OK ($10 for the Ultimate wash) and the wash was OK. The car was still pretty wet despite the jet driers at the end. I have an incredibly high standard for car washes having previously lived in Western NY state and having the excellent Delta Sonic car wash chain. Nothing compares to the value and quality of that car wash experience. Bottom line: it is hard for most other car washes to get much more than three stars from me (especially in my new hometown of Madison which is a car wash black hole). read more

This is a good place to get your car washed. I have used them multiple times. I drove in few weeks ago just as they were closing n they said no problem let's get your car washed. Car looked fantastic when it dried. There are a lot of fancy car washes in Sarasota. The big thing I look out for are scratches to my car. Tommy's is a huge offender of scratching your car. Bugs are gone! The bug removal upgrade actually works! They do have a $5 express wash and then it jumps to $10. It's pretty quick and I pu have to do your own interior and vacuum. Not something I'm interested in doing, so the express works for me. The location does have brushes so it is not touchless. There are several vacuums when you drive through the car wash and all seem to be in working order. You might want to bring a towel too because the dryer system is pretty quick. Attendant made sure I centered the car properly and helped me make the selection (I couldn't reach the selection device). He sprayed my windshield to remove a nasty bird dropping. Car looked great after the cleaning, at a reasonable price. read more

I just went to Big Finish Car Wash in Sarasota, I purchased $20 wash, wax and tire shine. The quality of the wash was fantastic. I would recommend big finish car wash you get plenty of towels for drying and also if you get glass cleaner which cleans glass dashboards just a great place and for $20 my car will shine for at least 3 to 4 weeks. Thanks big finish you guys are great. I would recommend this car wash as their equipment makes it easy to clean the car. read more

For $5 bucks, you get a clean exterior car and 95% air dried. You might want to pull over into their free vacuums spot to self service the interior and wipe down the few water droplets that come out to say Hi once the car sat for a minute. Bring a towel or have a roll of paper towels on hand if needed. For an Extra $4 bucks ($9 total), you get the bug removal treatment which consists of the attendent high pressure spraying your front windows, grill, and hood with water, then using a soft brush wet with bug cleaner to wipe the windshield and grill, and then sending you through the carwash to get what's left. Comes out clean and bug-free...worth every penny. My relatively new Toyota SUV came out scratch free and looking even newer. read more

Your "manager" is a joke. He is rude, condescending and in serIous need of some customer service training. After going through your car wash today, my car was still dirty. I brought this to your managers attention and he told me it was the wash I bought, that it wouldn't get my car clean. I explained that it did a week and a half ago and he proceeded to rub the dirt with his fingers which could scratch my car, then told be he's an auto body technician and that it's in the clear coat, and wasn't coming off because my car isn't waxed. I've never had this issue at your car wash before, and I come at least twice a month. Needless to say, I'll go back to spending more at johnny's, not have to do it my self, not be treated like shit, and here's the crazy part, leave the car wash with a clean car! read more

HORRIBLE customer services! The assistant manager was very rude, unpleasant and unpolished. Their car wash does not clean your car; not even fairly good. We spend $18 dollar and it's as if they filled the (extra services) we purchased with just water. We asked for a manager and the assistant just kept saying he was the manager. The car wash machine somehow stopped while we was getting a wash and the car behind us wind up hitting us from the rear end. We asked for assistance and for a refund and not only did they not help and excuse the person behind us that it was their fault while in the car wash but they wouldnt issue any refunds. To us nor the person who wind up hitting us from Thier car wash machine. This is a HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL place to get your car wash. Way too inconsistent. I bought the extreme car wash package for 3 months. Sometimes my they would wash my tires. Sometimes they wouldn't. sometimes they would power wash the front of my car. Sometimes they wouldn't. These things are all supposed to be included in the extreme wash. So it's not like I was getting free stuff sometimes and not other times. This is a self-service car wash that has an attendant and offers additional detailing services that you can schedule. There is a basic car wash that currently goes for $5.00. There are free vacuums available as you exit the wash building. There are a variety of drive through washes going up to the Extreme Shine for $18.00. In additional you can purchase monthly passes for unlimited washes at any level going from $24.95 plus tax to $39.95 plus tax. These are excellent buys but you have to maintain them for a three month minimum. If you decide to cancel, there is a number to call but you will probably have to wait for a callback. Good news is that they do call back, and after you have met the three months they will cancel your subscription. You can also purchase tokens for all levels, and they give you six washes for the price of five. DO MAKE SURE YOU GET A RECEIPT PRINTED FROM THE ENTRANCE MACHINE. And keep it. Hand it to the attendant to receive your tokens. If you purchase A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION, then hand that to the attendant and he will give you a page to fill out with car make, license plate, and credit card. BEST if you first get a cheap wash, and ask attendant for the subscription brochure so you can fill it in at home. THEN at next visit, make your purchase from machine, hand filled in brochure and receipt to attendant and he will place a reader strip on your windshield by the review mirror. That strip gets read then for future visits. Try not to damage the strip. The exterior washes are excellent, and as you do the interior cleanup then it's good or bad depending on your own choices. read more
