I like to walk - but it is tough on this course because of the distance between some of the greens to the next tee box. So, unless you have time for a 5 hour round - probably best to take a cart. The green fees are a little pricey - but I normally only play this course on the weekends- so I assume they jack up the prices on the weekends to take advantage of the cabin owners. They are enjoying themselves at both the large and very nice inside event space and the well groomed outside event space (separate from the back patio and driving range). The golf is a regular golf course. It is nine holes and they consider a full round doing the course twice (9x2=18). Do not let this discourage you because this is a very fun, very challenging and surprisingly forgiving course that you will want a second chance to master. This IS NOT A PAR 3 nine. This is a fun course with very different holes, some flat and some with surprising elevation. There are par 3 holes and "everything in your biggest club" long holes. Number nine is a mental challenge uphill. Number two tees off from high above the fairway. Trust me, the fairway on two is forgiving so go for it. The price is a good value. The course is always in good shape. I've walked this course, but I prefer to get a cart. It's a long course. It's easy to underestimate nine hole courses and to underestimate golf in farmland.
